@EternalDarkness their both ww2 era American carrier fighters, but the f4f came first (should be obvious). The f4f facing the zero was horrible, zeros won almost every time though the Americans came up with tactictc to help with this kill ratio. In 1942 a zero crashed in alaska and was salvaged, and the Americans were able to make a Formidable opponent against the zero becoming the f6f hellcat. It turned the tide of the air war in the Pacific, and to this day is one of the deadliest aircraft in history. I saw a hellcat up close, right next to an avenger (a carrier borne torpedo bomber that is massive, I'm 5'2 and can fit comfortably under its wing barely needing to lean down, my pap who is 6'1 can barely see over the top of the wing by far the biggest plane in the small museum). The hellcat was a beautiful peice of metal flying through the sky, and one of my favorite planes EVER. look it up see how cool both of these planes are, you won't be disappointed.
Ok I got another question, if you had to chose between these two planes what would you chose
F4f wildcat
F6f hellcat
Choose one of them and give a short reason why.
@EternalDarkness I personally like chevy ( car people hate me because of this) but if I had to choose something other than a chevy I'm going with a dodge, preferably a challenger.
@CrimsonOnigiri yea gyros can mess with the flight characteristics, but I found a way to fix it. I can tag you on the post I made for an experimental all gyro controlled plane, no control surfaces just a gyro. You can use that if you want, just give me credit for the idea.
I can see that you didn't disable some drag on the plane, in doing so you can cut on lag, but from you comment below it isn't laging. It can also make it faster as it doesn't have much drag.
Ok I'm in. Is it ok to have a ww2 era trainer? I have an idea for a trainer, and its inspired off of a ww2 trainer. I can make a modern one if I have to but I just want to know about the ww2 one.
It looks like I've seen this before, but non the less this thing is super wacky lookin. Why is there a door on the side of this thing? Is that to fit the bodies better?
@YoDudeChase @Jaspy109 welp its pretty unanimous, guess I'm going to be making videos now. Dont expect them to soon, I gotta download a screen recorder and my internet sucks ( it'll take probably an hour for a 20mb file)
@YamaYamatheMountain well is it going to be stationary or is it retractable? If retractable then have the gear close enough to the fuselage for the wheel tuck in it and the rest the gear in the wing, assuming you know how to do custom gear ( no offense if you do and I'm sounding rude)
@UltraLight well its be a good few months for you. You'll be a plat before you know it. Also sence I'm talking to you on my post I've been asking people if I should start making sp ( and other) videos and just want to see your opinion on this.
I made a plane with telescopic wings ( with speed they retract, tho my version was for carrier use so it extended and retracted for better carrier stowage, its name is project sea lion I think or its sea bear but I'm pretty sure its sea lion) I forget what it's called but give me a minute and I can link you the wiki.
When it comes to simple planes are a few rules that are shared, take your time, focus on details, make it something that is going to stand out, and make an appealing thumbnail ( people aren't going to click on it if all they see is the front). People see your creation first by the thumbnail, this is what is going to attract people to your build. You need to make sure it is intresting. Use reference images if your going to make a replica or if your going to have a feature that is similar to that on an existing aircraft, going off memory means your builds could look off and not as you want. These are some basic tips to improve
@YoDudeChase a friend is a person or being that brings comfort to you, and often share your interests and are normal are at your side no matter what ( except if you fall then they see if your ok then laugh at you, it's the rules of friendship). I know you were kidding but this is the best definition I could think of.
@acepilot109 forgot about this thing, I I noticed you did as well.

@tsampoy yea so it flies like s*.
@LUFTWAFFALES lol I knov. I'm almost 16 a vell.
Ok I got another question, if you had to chose between these two planes what would you chose

@LUFTWAFFALES oh 61 got it.
Bla bla bla drama drama bla bla bla.
What if ( fill in the blank)
@LUFTWAFFALES soooo 70?
@EternalDarkness I personally like chevy ( car people hate me because of this) but if I had to choose something other than a chevy I'm going with a dodge, preferably a challenger.
Favorite car manufacturer, and if it's some company I never heard of then I'll limit it to only American companies.
Cool plane
@CrimsonOnigiri give me a minute to find it.
+1It would be great if I can actually see the god damn pictures!! I hate my horrible internet.
@CrimsonOnigiri yea gyros can mess with the flight characteristics, but I found a way to fix it. I can tag you on the post I made for an experimental all gyro controlled plane, no control surfaces just a gyro. You can use that if you want, just give me credit for the idea.
@CrimsonOnigiri I'm not to sure how to fix the yawing problem, I know I've been plagued with that as well.
@CrimsonOnigiri ops my bad I was reading it 31,500 drag points.
+1Teas

I would love to have this awesome mod but even if it was android friendly, my potato wouldn't be able to handle it.

Big stonks
Incase it wasn't implying I want tageds.
Wow day wacky
@Potato21
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THATS WAY TO GOOD FOR ONLY 531 PARTS!
How many parts? It's gotta be at least 1000 right?
Well we should remember communism so we dont forgot it.
"those who forget are doomed to repeat"
+7@Kennneth damn, ok I'm not going to be able to run it, I can barely run the racetrack mod and that's only 50. Yikes.
+2It looks like I've seen this before, but non the less this thing is super wacky lookin. Why is there a door on the side of this thing? Is that to fit the bodies better?
@rexrexThezion why, because.........( hope you get the reference)
How big is the file? I need to ask so I know how long I'm going to be waiting ( if it's more than 20mb then I'm going to be here an hour)
+2@YoDudeChase @Jaspy109 welp its pretty unanimous, guess I'm going to be making videos now. Dont expect them to soon, I gotta download a screen recorder and my internet sucks ( it'll take probably an hour for a 20mb file)
@rexrexThezion that's why it's so technologically advanced.
@YamaYamatheMountain well is it going to be stationary or is it retractable? If retractable then have the gear close enough to the fuselage for the wheel tuck in it and the rest the gear in the wing, assuming you know how to do custom gear ( no offense if you do and I'm sounding rude)

@UltraLight by next month you'll be past me in points
@UltraLight np man. It's the least I can do. Your probably the fastest person to get to gold on the site.
@ACEPILOT109 thanks man.
@ACEPILOT109 ok. Your the first one to reply so if it's a positive vote towards doing it then I guess I'm in the business of video making.
@ACEPILOT109 should I make sp vids? I'm still questioning it ( like it says I'm going to do other stuff too)
And it was project sea bear ( dont know why I was thinking sea lion)
+1Here's a link to the wiki 1931 it was designed and did I mention it was french?

+1Well I'm not good enough for someone to do that to one of my builds soooooooooooooooooooooo
Lockheed Martin or grumman

@YoDudeChase also should I start making videos? I'm really not sure if I should or wait.

@YamaYamatheMountain well then make it a bit thicker.
@SPairforce if you need any help with anything please let me know I would be happy to help
@SPairforce also you can try and improve your landing gear using finetuner to nudge the spring into the fuselage.
