@MsMuseumJanitor next time, save your build everytime you make a significant change. If you are making a significant change that you are not sure if you want to keep or no, then save it as a new variant like name_of_aircraft_a.
@Monarchii make them wide as possible. If that's not enough, make it longer. But it may not be the shape you want. So you can make a blade in the shape you want. Just make it bigger until it's producing desired amount of thrust. Then rescale them to a smaller, more appropriate size. That way you can replicate propellers on submarines and still produce enough thrust.
If you saved it, you can search for it in the game files. There is bound to be a copy in there as backup. In fact, every aircraft you make have a backup file. So don't worry... for now.
Make propeller with angled wing Or a wing with control surface to have more control over it. Bigger the wing and faster the rotator, the more thrust you get. You can rescale them if it's getting too big. Remember to remove drag and mass from wings for efficiency. Works best in higher physics setting. You can only increase the speed of rotators to like 8. After that it freaks out. And they produce torque so have two rotators spinning clockwise and counterclockwise, either on the sides or on a common axis (coaxial).
The little circle with a small plane in it is RWR. Works more like a situational awareness device but it works. It will give heading towards target, rough distance of target and if you are withn range of enemy's (stock) weapons.
