@RyneKuczy Aye, alas it requires you to build around it. I'm still finding a few alternatives, but it's a process :3 I'll let you know if I find anything useful.
@RyneKuczy My pleasure! And alright~ You can use the Corporeal link on this thread, but here's what you do: You add two rotors from the gizmos menu to wherever you need your canards to be, then, add the vertical stabilizers. Set the rotors to a max angle of about 30 degrees and set them to pitch. Then, group them to a group you'd like to have on hand (Personally, I use 7). This will allow you to toggle between finer, slower pitch movement for sub-sonic flight and landing/takeoff procedures, and trans-sonic and super-sonic flight where you'll need high maneuverability. How you get it to fit with minimal drag, I'm afraid I can't help you with, but I do hope you're able to use this somehow!
@Skua I have the nose as sleek as possible, and the drag is coming from the inlets :\ Necessary evil I suppose. I've been looking for sleeker inlet designs to try out and see if there's something that doesn't cause any drag. But about the aircraft's shape or composition itself, any suggestions? :D
A note to the new guys: Just keep swimming! Keep improving your aircraft for your own personal development, then, without a doubt, someone will come along. Join some challenges or post your findings on the forum! Someone's bound to see them, then before you know it, you're on the front page. <3
This is an especially impressive aircraft, I must say! If you don't mind, though, I have a few suggestions that may interest you.
Your canards are great, but they should be turned whole, instead of having a control surface. I can tell you how to do this if you'd like.
Your drag ratio is astounding, keep that up.
Your roll is a little bit too fast to control. Toning it down just a little bit would serve you well.
I like the level takeoff, but it seems a bit fast to be taking off. I think larger wings would create a little more lift.
Lift would be useful considering it's a bit front-heavy.
Aside form that, this is an amazing aircraft! I really like it, and if you don't mind, I'd like to see if I could learn something from it for my own crown jewel, with your permission of course. I hope this helped~ Happy flying, my friend! <3
EDIT: Oh, and by the way-- I'm sorry the other guy beat me to it XD But yeah your aircraft looks top-notch, and has the stability to match!! GG, friend!
:\ Sorry to hear that. Just try and challenge yourself a little more, watch a few aerospace documentaries, and maybe you can make better aircraft. But some on man, this isn't about points or notoriety- it's about learning to make a good plane. Come on. I'll even help you.
@Xogo Wonderful! I added a tail modification and used those wing tips from your design, as well as messed around with the flaps, too. Thank you. It now breaks 1000 mph! Now to just make it faster.
@@Xogo I did know the inlets at the bottom weren't working correctly, but I figured I'd keep them for a few versions to try and see if they looked like one long inlet, but looking back, I might just end up taking them all off like you said and try something else. And thanks for the tail design :33 I noticed it had serious stalling issues on takeoff with the canards on, so I toggled them to see if that would help for smaller movements, and it did :3 Thank you for that design, btw <3
@Hadesrocks Thanks!! It stems off the Corporeal series if you'd like to take a look~ Unless you have already, so in that case you know what this is modeled after ^^;
@Xogo Thank you so much!! Love the feedback. I'll be sure to add inlets, switch the control surfaces around a tad, add steering and make large stabilizers. I honestly thought the inlets with how the game worked would have only added weight-- thanks for telling me they actually serve a purpose :3 I'll get right on it and come out with the Corporeal-B
@Flightsonic Aye, thank you so much!! You guys are awesome-- I posted two minutes ago and you respond with a good answer :D Thanks for giving it a shot <3 Hope to see it!
What about torpedoes? People have come up with some neat concepts, but I'd love to see one that actually blew up. You guys can do torpedoes, right? Has that already been suggested?
@Physics4Pros Thanks ^^;;; This is my absolute best as of 1/15/16-- I took the design of a P-38 as an experiment to see if angled/spaced-out control surfaces would help. Turns out it does~!
@Physics4Pros Fantastic!! And btw: If you want something even more maneuverable and something a little quicker, Lighting II is your best bet, seeing as you can try it now ^^
@Physics4Pros If you want to know how it flies-- not the best. It's a very stable aircraft and it goes a fair speed, but it's not very maneuverable ^^;
@Buntycliff I can't remember for the life of me, alas, but it was a magnificent aircraft- and no kidding? Your grandpa musta' been a pretty gone guy :3 Neat <3
@Buntycliff Thanks~! ^^ I had stealth in mind, thinking of the bridge demolition mission. It didn't go quite as planned but I like how it turned out anyway.
Oh- and I saw this same one in an air museum :D I also saw "Moonlight Serenade" in Ohio. It's even more beautiful up close.
@Skua I call Arstotska :D I'll make a plane very goodly to stop those Koletchian buggers. Imagine, one is let through totally legit, no discrepancies or anything through the checkpoint-- and he just gets strafed by a jet from the 1980's XD
@Hadesrocks Thanks ^^ Tell me, do you like this version better or should I base designs more towards the older versions?
@RyneKuczy Hooray! Thank you!!
@Skua Thanks! ^^

@Squirrel I'm only at 361 points now, and I'm already upvoting, collaborating and critiquing aircraft, and I've only been here a month or two!
Man, can't wait to make platinum =D Wishful thinking, yes- but hey, nobody ever go anywhere by being (so called) "realistic"
I'm in! I'm excited =3

@@Xogo You go right ahead! I'm working on one meself, so we could merge the two into the Corporeal K :D
@@Hadesrocks I wonder if one day this design will be real. It'd be really neat to see it hanging in a museum a good 100 years from now :3

Okay.... That's cool.
@Hadesrocks Thanks!
@Hadesrocks 😃🌊🚤
@Hadesrocks My pleasure~ I am real glad you love what I do~ I won't dissapoint!
@Hadesrocks Heh- thanks!! I hope the next versions of it will be~
@Hadesrocks Dang son, thanks a million and then some! Man, I'm so glad you did this~! I'm about to explode with happiness!!!!
@Hadesrocks Thanks so much! :D I love this Aerospace engineering, so it's wonderful to know other people enjoy what I develop~
@Hadesrocks Thanks!! It stems off the Corporeal series if you'd like to take a look~ Unless you have already, so in that case you know what this is modeled after ^^;
I'm in
(Thanks, Hades)
@Xogo Color me impressed! I'll get to work on the Corporeal G and incorporate these designs. Hopefully, all will go as planned.
@KevinMurphy Is that a 1983 TRON hat?.... Can I have one? .-.
@Xogo Definitely! Go for it! If you don't mind, I'll dissect it a bit, too. Perhaps you and I could make one of the best craft on SimplePlanes!
@Xogo Alright, I've upgraded it with the Corporeal B! Take a look if you'd like :3
@DatDude1 Now that would be an amazing addition!!

@Physics4Proz Yo ^^
@Physics4Proz Neat!! ^^
@Physics4Pros Arite, but please do gimme the link ^^; Thanks <3
@Physics4Pros Aye ^^ I'll keep the name~ I'll name something else the Starfish,
@Physics4Pros I am, however, thinking of renaming it the Starfish. Should I rename it or save the name for another 5-pointed prototype?

My dad is a crew-chief for a C-130 :3 gj
Fantastic job, man!! I wish I could build this well L(~. ~L
@Physics4Pros If I DID have the means of doing so-- how would I? Do you know? ._. I'd like to.
@Skua @icecoldlava @jsaret @RocketLL
Everyone!!! I've done it! I created an Arstotskan fighter for the RP. Ice, it's your turn :3

@Physics4Pros Designed in Windows--- Sorry :\ I don't have any way of porting it if that's a thing I need to do.
