  • What damage model for guns to be their real life equivalent? 2.3 years ago

@rexzion thanks for this. I’ll check out the forum post

  • JU87-B2 2.3 years ago

@FirstFish83828 probably not but I use Google translate to speak to like a quarter of the people on here

  • Grouped parts 2.3 years ago

@ZeroWithSlashedO I hope they do something like this whenever they decide to update next. Would be an awesome addition

  • Grouped parts 2.3 years ago

@Kangy would love to hear what a dev thinks about this. I think it would be a great edition that seems relatively possible to do

  • What damage model for guns to be their real life equivalent? 2.3 years ago

@Kangy thanks! I never really leave but just don’t post hahaha

  • Grouped parts 2.3 years ago

@HuskyDynamics01 I use a mac and iOS devices for SimplePlanes so sadly mods isn’t something I can do. I can download mods on the Mac but it can hardly run SP which is strange because my iPhone 11 and iPad can run it perfectly fine even with upwards of 1500 part builds

  • M-95 Devil Heavy Tank 2.3 years ago

@FloppyShoes I know this is old but no sorry. I never really keep downloaded builds saved. Otherwise my saved list would be too long lol

  • Funky trees help (never exceed speed) 2.3 years ago

    @Carsonkiddy2 I haven’t posted my P-51s hahaha. Doesn’t mean I never made one 😜

  • Grouped parts 2.3 years ago

@Magnavox20MS233S I’ve been dreaming of this. Would love to see it

  • G Force Effect 2.3 years ago

@OPaiTaOn yeah I’ve done this one too but it didn’t look good. I’m going to try with tinted glass maybe

  • G Force Effect 2.3 years ago

Did you ever get this to work? I tried a few times in various ways and I’ve been trying the same thing with VTOL engines now but it just doesn’t look good. How is yours?

  • ALMOST SILVER!! 3.1 years ago

    You got it now!

  • AA-1C "Citrine" 3.1 years ago

    @PakPuma75 congrats on silver!

  • AA-2B "Spearhead" 3.1 years ago

@PakPuma75 no problem :) Take a look at how it’s done on real planes. You’ll see the rear wheels are much further than often expected

  • AA-1C "Citrine" 3.1 years ago

You make some amazing looking aircraft! Nice concepts. From the back while flying, this feels a little like an F-14 with the wings swept back

  • AA-2B "Spearhead" 3.1 years ago

Dude this is awesome! You made it look good and fly well. One thing I would recommend is to put the landing gear right behind the CoM. That way taking off will be both easier and feel more realistic. It will also have a much lower takeoff speed

  • F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III 3.1 years ago

@PakPuma75 hahaha that’s true. He hasn’t learnt the method of how to remove the original post credit yet 😂

  • JU87-B2 3.1 years ago

Why does it wobble the way it does?

  • Saab 35 Draken 3.1 years ago

I love your taste in planes

  • BAC Lightning. 3.1 years ago

    Love the lightning!

  • MIG-21 MF BAF 3.1 years ago

    @TheFlyingWolfYT cool MiG!

  • Mig-21 Triplit Air to Air Command fighter 3.1 years ago

@TheFlyingWolfYT sure but still low effort

  • Bayrakatar TB2 Ukrainian Air Force 3.1 years ago

    Best song @Sparky6004

  • A-7 Corsair 3.1 years ago

@Hedero One of the best comments I’ve ever seen 😂

  • Mirage F-1 with Fly by Wire system 3.1 years ago

@Posadas I completely understand what you mean. I started playing this game in 2013 or 2014 and it took me forever to get the hang of it too. If you want any tips or tricks on how to make planes that look good perform realistically as well feel free to ask! I don’t upload anymore but I’m constantly making new aircraft and they fly more realistically every time hahaha

  • F/A-18 Super Hornet Block III 3.1 years ago

Apart from the copy pasted hud, I’m not sure there were many improvements lol

  • Mirage F-1 with Fly by Wire system 3.1 years ago

This plane looks really cool! Huge jump from what you were making only a few days ago. Did you get any help on it or was it all you? Also while it looks good it’s flight characteristics are “interesting”. I suggest trying to make it fly more like the real thing. Then you’ll have a fantastic build!

  • Funky trees help (never exceed speed) 3.1 years ago

@lxnylx hey buddy! Sorry for my super late reply but I remember you!

  • Funky trees help (never exceed speed) 3.1 years ago

@CarrotSlicingCompanyCat @Kangy hey y’all. I’m still playing SimplePlanes but I don’t really upload anymore. I felt that every time I uploaded I had to make the plane better than the one before and it started to take out some of the fun. I’ve made lots of cool and fun stuff though I can show you in unlisted posts if you’d like :)

  • MiG-42 (Twin 21) 3.3 years ago

No one said it would have been hahaha @Gramgramofficial

  • Columbiair FB-7 Lion Divebomber Interceptor 3.7 years ago

    Better late than never :)

  • Funky trees help (never exceed speed) 3.7 years ago

@SilverStar I keep losing track of which funkytrees guide to follow. Thanks for that!

  • Funky trees help (never exceed speed) 3.7 years ago

@SilverStar I’ve been working with that so far. Is there also a way to make it activate based on g force?

  • RG-MiG-15 3.7 years ago

Love me some MiG-15s that exceed mach 1 in a climb

  • Funky trees help (never exceed speed) 3.7 years ago

@FeatherWing thanks for this! Maybe it’ll make it work

  • Hawker Siddeley Trident 3B 3.7 years ago

@Tang0five I was actually looking at how you made them. I’ve been trying to make nice swept back wings for a while but I always end up going back to one large half circular front section with pointy flaps and ailerons at the back hahaha. Nice work though!

  • Simple F-106A 3.7 years ago

HobbyMaster is one of my wallets biggest enemies

  • SR & EE Sea Sparrow FGA.1 3.7 years ago

    @JuanNotAnAlt have we talked before?

  • phoebe - 3.7 years ago

I saw a yacht that looked similar to this while on holiday is Croatia. It was owned by Joe Lewis I think and had a full sized tennis court inside.

  • AN 225 3.7 years ago

To remove it entirely, you have to add a new part connection between the tips of the wings to the end of the fuselage part you used to make the wings look better

  • German Corsair 3.7 years ago

    Just so confused

  • HO-7 3.7 years ago

    Pretty cool build :)

  • HE-117 3.7 years ago

    Pretty nice!

  • SkylineAero SAF-3 3.7 years ago

For each aircraft it will be slightly different. What is usually good to do is find a real aircraft with similar performance and characteristics to what you are making. Then make the engines have the same thrust as that and reduce your drag points until it has similar performance as the real aircraft :)

  • Not just any American & British telephone booth... 3.7 years ago

Lovely work! I think you mean gen z though since gen x is in their 50s ;)

  • SkylineAero SAF-3 3.7 years ago

This is one of my favourite aircraft I’ve seen on here in a while. It looks fantastic and flies really well too. What could make it perform more realistically (real acceleration, energy loss/retention, climb rate, and airspeed) is by lowering the engine power to 1 and reducing the drag points to roughly 1100. It takes only a few minutes and it makes this thing fly similar to a BAC Strikemaster or Cessna tweet

  • Gryphon-3 3.7 years ago

Nice! Why would this be click bait?

  • SPVR Update - Labels 3.7 years ago

Nice to see some of the pros from SimpleRockets2 come here finally. Will we get a button to copy both individual parts and groups of parts on mobile as well?

  • SO.8000 ''Narwhal'' 3.7 years ago

@GuyFolk that’s pretty cool! Didn’t expect that from this aircraft at all

  • SO.8000 ''Narwhal'' 3.7 years ago

Looks excellent and flies pretty well. Is there a problem with the ailerons though? I’m not so well versed in this aircraft so maybe it’s just my ignorance.
