@RamboJutter ahhh that makes sense since they have a similar feel to them but the opening at the bottom front of the cowling gives it the merlin mustang vibe. Did you know someone made an awful replica of one with Mustang wings in real life.
@SVRondo it’s got a lot of detail! And I know what live aboard means, I was asking how it is to live on this boat hahaha. It’s cool that you actually made you home in this game.
@DankoArg yes I know about it’s use in the war. I saw one the British captured in an RAF museum. Funny that they were able to capture an entire plane and bring it back across thousands of miles of ocean and put it in a museum. If you like falklands aircraft it’s definitely worth it to look at the A-4 and Sea Harrier (of course)
This is a cool build! I like these old soviet bombers. I started making a similar plane (TU-14) almost a year ago now. This reminds me that I should finish it!
Would you be willing to post this again with the updates you added to it? I see you mentioned in an old comment that you kept adding to it and I’m curious to see what it looks like now
What does help is adding gyroscopes. If you put a few low on the (I actually don’t know what to call this) ¿vehicle?, it should work slightly better for the moment.
It reminds me of Mumpsy’s builds. If you haven’t heard of him here is his account. I don’t know if he posts as often as he used to but he used to make my favourite planes on here. https://www.simpleplanes.com/u/Mumpsy
@DJS8Corporations around a year ago you said you’d make a B-52 with props hahaha. I read it in the comments section of one of my aircraft and then I saw you made another Boeing bomber instead though
This is a really unusual/unique design but it works very well together! Is there any backstory to this aircraft or any idea in your head of when and why this would have been used or is it just a cool idea you thought of?
@FlyingHueman I think the nose looks good here. I do understand that it’s annoying to work with the set engines for prop aircraft though. As for the struts, I would have them come from the lower wings near the fuselage and go out until 1/2 the way of the top wing. I think that would look pretty good
This thing is huge! What a machine! It looks great too! Might want to double check the flaps though since they don’t move in the same direction (but that’s not too big of an issue)
@BillyTheKid1138 well I have good and bad news. The bad is that sadly there will never be a real one but the good news is that the YB-35 and YB-49 do exist and are pretty close to this!
This one is really neat too! I find that the planes manoeuvre much better if you leave the elevators just at the rear and not adding them to the main wings too. It also looks better when you pitch
@BillyTheKid1138 well of course. I find that it’s often more fun to rebuild real aircraft in a slightly different way than to copy them exactly. I do that with quite a few of mine. It works really well for this plane
@RamboJutter unfortunately not. It’s one of those planes that seems to have mostly been forgotten to history, or at least by the masses.

Stinky poopy
More people need to highlight and upvote this! It’s too good for only 11 upvotes!
@SVRondo hahaha you too!

@Minnererg sure I would love to see it! Tag me in it when you upload

Very cool!
What a classic. I like the style you use to build these bombers. It looks good and it’s mobile friendly!

Whoa this is really well made! The tail especially looks great
Would you be willing to post this again with the updates you added to it? I see you mentioned in an old comment that you kept adding to it and I’m curious to see what it looks like now
@Luk3Zer0MK1 shame, I hope someone can help you out!
This is actually incredible! How long did this take to make? Also how is it living aboard?
This sort of looks like Daffy Duck, especially the nose!
What does help is adding gyroscopes. If you put a few low on the (I actually don’t know what to call this) ¿vehicle?, it should work slightly better for the moment.
@Zanedavid I sort of created a very rough version. I’ll tag you in it
@Zanedavid I’ve tried but it sadly doesn’t look right. I guess we just have to hope they add it in an update
@DJS8Corporations time to add another aircraft to the long list of almost complete builds I have in my saved folder hahaha
@DJS8Corporations oh yeah I see that now hahaha
This is so cool! It flies very well for its shape. Nice work!
It reminds me of Mumpsy’s builds. If you haven’t heard of him here is his account. I don’t know if he posts as often as he used to but he used to make my favourite planes on here. https://www.simpleplanes.com/u/Mumpsy
@DJS8Corporations Here in this one
@JamesBleriot lol that’s not chitty chitty bang bang but now I want to know what movie you’re talking about
Now this brings back memories! Great build! I was thoroughly happy to see that it floated.
@DJS8Corporations around a year ago you said you’d make a B-52 with props hahaha. I read it in the comments section of one of my aircraft and then I saw you made another Boeing bomber instead though
Do I like it: yes
Do I know why I like it: no, not really (I don’t even like bananas)
@DJS8Corporations hahaha I see that now
@DragonAero r/woooosh
@FlyingHueman yeah that would be perfect. If you build it and upload it at some point could you tag me? I’m curious to see how it would look like
Big Oof
Huh? Who turned the wings off?
This is a really unusual/unique design but it works very well together! Is there any backstory to this aircraft or any idea in your head of when and why this would have been used or is it just a cool idea you thought of?
Was the nose/fuselage inspired by a Mustang at all?

Oh my goodness it’s been so long since I’ve seen than engine! I like the frame for this aircraft too. Nicely done
Pretty cool build!
@BillyTheKid1138 you say that but the YB-35 has 20 .50 cal guns! I do know what you mean though
This thing is huge! What a machine! It looks great too! Might want to double check the flaps though since they don’t move in the same direction (but that’s not too big of an issue)

@BillyTheKid1138 well thank you very much

How do your cool builds not get any upvotes dude?
Damn this is a really cool aircraft!
Okay how can you say my old P-38 is better than yours when you have this awesome jet version!
@BillyTheKid1138 well of course. I find that it’s often more fun to rebuild real aircraft in a slightly different way than to copy them exactly. I do that with quite a few of mine. It works really well for this plane
@BillyTheKid1138 well thank you very much for your upvote
You may not have ever gotten round to the B-52 with props but this B-29 sure is fantastic!
@BillyTheKid1138 Yours is from almost a year ago! I bet if you went and redid it that it would be way better than mine
