Wow! This is actually one of the most impressive builds I’ve ever seen on here. The detail on the interior for the cockpit and bombardier is immaculate and the effort that must have gone in to this is clearly visible. Wonderful job!

  • Sealion ('45-'50 Naval Challenge) 6.1 years ago

Very nice! You acted like it wasn’t going to be good but it looks great! Thank you for your participation in the challenge!

  • AA-122 Screat 6.1 years ago

@Diloph sure! I will let you know if I ever create another one :)

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@DJS8Corporations I can’t wait to see this Corsair! Good luck!

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@DJS8Corporations I was actually expecting you to make one! I don’t know why but it just goes well with your profile hahaha

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@DJS8Corporations excellent! I find that quite fun to do before and while I’m working on a build. Just to remind you, it can be any plane that was in service with a navy or built during that period. So WWII aircraft like the Corsair and Hellcat are allowed too!

  • Avid-Ground 6.1 years ago

Maybe it could use a few more engines or guns hahaha

  • DT-1 ( Square Stand ) 6.1 years ago

@DJS8Corporations yeah I just saw. Some of them a whacky hahaha

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@DJS8Corporations would you like me to add a list of various naval aircraft from that time period to the post?

  • DT-1 ( Square Stand ) 6.1 years ago

@DJS8Corporations that’s really cool! I didn’t know they toyed around with this sort of design!

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@DJS8Corporations great! I’m looking forward to see what you have to offer!

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@DJS8Corporations I don’t think I tagged you in this. Would you be interested in participating?

  • DT-1 ( Square Stand ) 6.1 years ago

    @DJS8Corporations no problem!

  • dark wrath no mods 6.1 years ago

@Rickyjasper2 looking forward to seeing it!

  • just for fun 6.1 years ago

This is so cool and really fun to use! Very creative build

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@FlyingHueman Hey would you be interested in this?

  • dark wrath no mods 6.1 years ago

    Congrats on bronze btw!

  • bomber2 prop lil bomb 6.1 years ago

@Rickyjasper2 now that’s another game I do still love. I’ve been playing it since it came out and I don’t think I will ever fully stop hahaha. Just some breaks which last a year or two every now and then hahaha

  • A-12 Vigger II 6.1 years ago

Well damn this is a really nicely made aircraft! Very cool looking and crazily manoeuvrable for its design. Lovely work!

  • dark wrath no mods 6.1 years ago

Pretty cool! If you want to improve your builds, I’d focus on proportionality. Make sure the fuselage is the right size in comparison to the wings for the type of plane you’re building!

  • bomber2 prop lil bomb 6.1 years ago

@Rickyjasper2 I will check it out!

  • Flying boat (fictional) DTH 28 6.1 years ago

So this may have a few issues with flight control and the speed, but the fuselage and interior are out of this world. It’s one of the most detailed interiors I have ever seen and the fuselage looks incredibly good! Wonderfully made aircraft which really deserves more upvotes

  • F-Schlepp 6.1 years ago

Okay this is so much fun to fly in. Both planes looks great too!

  • RamboJutter "Trudence" MKII 2.3 6.1 years ago

I just read the description and that’s hilarious. I love the background story hahaha!

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@RAF1 it’s always fun to restart. I did a couple weeks ago after taking a year break. You can upload three entries so you get some practice ones ;)

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@Bife awesome! I’d love to see what you come up with!

  • xml parts for mobile users 6.1 years ago

Wow, you’re the real SP MVP

  • Casa C-101 Aviojet 6.1 years ago

    Damn this is really nice

  • bomber2 prop lil bomb 6.1 years ago

@Rickyjasper2 well thank you very much but I consider my planes from a year ago my more recent ones hahaha. I play this game a lot but I hardly ever upload my builds. If you look at my posts though, you can see that I have a sudden change which started with my Q300. Your builds are 100% better than anything from before that

  • Star SA-164 Cloudstream 6.1 years ago

@OmegaDestroyer the shape is pretty simple so it’s a good one to try and replicate

  • Neiva T-25 Universal FAB 6.1 years ago

This is really fantastic, one of the best trainer aircraft of this sort on SP. Nicely done!

  • bomber2 prop lil bomb 6.1 years ago

@Rickyjasper2 no no no my old ones are terrible! Yours are much much better!

  • Percy the green engine (not done) 6.1 years ago

    Oh hell yes!

  • good quad aagun 6.1 years ago

@Rickyjasper2 next to where it says downloads, there is a small button with an arrow. When you click on it, a small menu will come up and you can then click on edit :)

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@RAF1 yeah I completely understand the confusion though. Will you be joining in the challenge maybe? I love the planes you make and I’d love to see you make one in this style

  • Star SA-164 Cloudstream 6.1 years ago

@OmegaDestroyer it is just beautiful. I wish the RAF decided to use those upgraded Nimrods so there would still be a comet type aircraft in use today. You should try building a comet replica! Or something that’s heavily inspired by the comet (more so than this I mean)

  • Star SA-164 Cloudstream 6.1 years ago

@OmegaDestroyer yeah I can tell and I know why. It’s one beautiful airline. Along with the 707, it’s my personal favourite airline in terms of technical innovation and looks

  • Small town 6.1 years ago

@MegaFox awesome! I can’t wait to see it

  • Star SA-164 Cloudstream 6.1 years ago

@OmegaDestroyer oh I see them! I would make them larger and more visible. Also it’s cooler to see where the actual engine fits in. Sort or like on the DH comet or Tu-104. It’s still a nice build nonetheless

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@RAF1 I added the word simple to the criteria. Does this make it a little more clear or should I change the wording more to get the point across better?

  • Small town 6.1 years ago

@MegaFox even for something small this looks very nice!

  • good quad aagun 6.1 years ago

@Rickyjasper2 np! Put it in the description of the plane maybe

  • bomber2 prop lil bomb 6.1 years ago

@Rickyjasper2 I’d argue that it’s better than most on this site! Certainly better than some of my ones

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@TheMitsuboshiBoi lol that’s a little rude. I thought maybe this seemed like a challenge for you but I guess not. You don’t have to be so offended :)

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@Diloph when the challenge is over and I’ve judged everyone’s planes, I will announce their scores to them in the comments on their post. I will also announce the top three here and I will make a forum post which will include everyone’s overall scores. I will make sure the winners know who they are :)

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@RAF1 build quality and design are two different categories I would say. However, some builds look fantastic with the stock wings too so of course I will take it into account if they look good that way. It’s all quite subjective because there isn’t really a scientific way to measure what plane is better than another so of course a lot of my personal opinion will go into it. However, I do think we can agree that certain types of wings look better than others. The wings used by Costr aren’t just the wing part left on its own, it’s got added detail and often made of multiple smaller wing parts until it’s more of a custom wing than the stock one

  • Star SA-164 Cloudstream 6.1 years ago

Remind me tomorrow to spotlight this!

  • Star SA-164 Cloudstream 6.1 years ago

I think it’s pretty good! There is no engine inlet or exhaust though! The screenshots are nice and your custom controls are great as well. Just make them move at 100% speed

  • CardBoard man 6.1 years ago

@Diloph I saw! It looks great!

  • AA-122 Screat 6.1 years ago

Very nice! Thank you for your participation in the challenge!
