This is really cool! How could it get only one upvote? If the guns were functional and it had a bomb bay it would be even better though! Maybe try an updated one?
Just tested this out and I really do think it’s the best P-51 Mustang on SimplePlanes. Absolutely steller job on this one. As a huge P-51 fan (I bet you would never have guessed right?), I’m extremely happy to have seen this. Thanks for adding such wonderful and detailed replicas to the community. This really deserves a feature on the front page
This is amazing! How did I not see this before? As you probably know the fuselage is a little too thing but other than that it’s very good. I’m a huge F7F fan so I do enjoy seeing nice replicas of it like this one. Great wings especially!
This is fantastic! A great looking build which flies pretty decently too. I do think it could use a little more wing area. Around 300ft^2 total would be good (like the real thing surprisingly). The custom controls are also great. Lovely work on this!
@Thelionslipstonight I don’t have time to make one or something but I can help out with some small tweaks and adjustments if you need. Also if you like this plane feel free to leave an upvote :)
This is one of the coolest looking aircraft I’ve seen on SP for a little while. If you added more wing area it would fly better but it sure does look great now!
This is pretty neat and useful! We may have the hollow fuselage parts but with this you can remove bits to make a bay door. I know I saw it before but I was looking for one of these now so thanks for this!
This is pretty nice! The shape is decent and you’ve got a cool cockpit! If you moved the CoL further back though (by making the horizontal stabilisers larger or main wings smaller) it would fly better and be more manoeuvrable
This is pretty cool but a few extra features could make it even better! Adding suspension would help a lot on rougher terrain and giving it a pedel throttle instead of a lever makes more sense. Also I normally don’t care too much about the weaponry but a machine gun next to the cannon would be a nice little touch. Overall though this is really cool and I love it’s design and that interior is especially good!
@Tang0five these free to play games seem great at first always but then comes the catch. I miss the days where you had to pay a one time fee for the effort and time put into a game. Those days were far better than the pay to win nonsense we have to put up with now. I’m sure it brings in more money but the enjoyability levels just aren’t there anymore. That’s why I don’t play war thunder or WoT anymore since it’s not as much about the skill anymore but who bought the most upgrades. Thank goodness for dev teams like Jundroo’s
@Tang0five that is such a shame. It’s like they just think it’s okay to forget about their clients because it’s easier for them. I’m happy Jundroo isn’t a massive company and that they still have direct contact with their player base
@Tang0five No problem my friend, it was a long time ago. Also I know! It’s the same thing but suddenly if they did that they would become “EA”. I also know nothing about the programming but the business side is something up my alley. Ideally we would all buy SR2 but since I don’t think that would happen, some sort of new game or DLC which combines the two would be perfect. Maybe if we make forum posts again, someone from Jundroo would see it and think the idea over
This looks cool but it can’t really fly. You can make some simple changes to fix it though. If you turn off the power/throttle for the main rotor, it will fly like an aeroplane or an AutoGyro. However, if you want it to be a helicopter, you have to add a second main rotor which moves in the opposite direction. That way it will not spin out of control constantly
@Tang0five I 100% agree. I made a forum post about this a while ago but most people just got angry at the idea of having to pay for extra content. They can’t just keep improving the game massively for free. An integrated version would most definitely become my favourite game though.
@Inuyasha8215 hahaha thank you. It’s quite old a bit rubbish now though but I loved it when I made it. Take a look at some of my newer builds if you want to see something I consider pretty good :)
@Tang0five yeah that’s very true. There is sort of a set formula for rockets whereas aircraft designers have more freedom to be creative. The worlds are also fantastic but don’t have the level of detail that you get from the SP ones. I would love a new island or landmass in SP but it’s much better to have this sort of diversity than slightly bumpy terrain which feels endless when you’re traveling at 500mph
@Tang0five if your thing is really planes then it’s not worth it. The only difference is that the stock parts are more customisable for aircraft but with your skill level and now with access to XML, you don’t need that. Other than that it’s really not a game for making planes

@CjrLdy oh that’s odd. Maybe because of the memorial rule but this should be fine. RIP
@Tang0five damn that’s a real shame to hear. You seem to be very good at eyeballing for your builds and tbh I found making planes like that to be more enjoyable as it added another challenging dynamic to work around. I also have to say I was very surprised when they announced an update of this caliber for SP. Maybe they haven’t forgotten about us lot who still prefer this to SR2!
Very cool! It looks like an F-117. Would be a nice addition to have weapons bay doors
This is really cool! How could it get only one upvote? If the guns were functional and it had a bomb bay it would be even better though! Maybe try an updated one?
@SimplyPlain You are most welcome! And I love the RAF livery you chose. Very unique on SP! Also remind me to spotlight this in like 12 hours :)

+1Those are very well made tracks! It’s a bit too fast for a tracked vehicle using these controls but apart from that this is very cool!

@AtomicCat no problem! Even as it is it’s very fun
+1@fulcrum29 haha that’s not your fault! It’s just crazy that a build which is this fun to fly doesn’t get much attention
+1@fulcrum29 have you tried experimenting with using custom wings made with fuselage blocks?
+1That’ sounds good! What are the first, second, and third place prizes (if there are any)?
@Elasmosaurs no problem buddy!
+1This is one of the coolest looking aircraft I’ve seen on SP for a little while. If you added more wing area it would fly better but it sure does look great now!
+2This is awesome! Sure it could fly better but for one of your first uploads is fantastic!
+1@Diloph if I remember correctly, mine was an A-4 but it was back when we only had blocks so it was exceptionally simple hahaha
This is lovely! How could it get zero upvotes?
+1This is lovely to fly! Very fun aircraft which hints towards an F-18
+1Pretty fun boat to attack the fleets with!
This is quite a cool build! I like the cannon placement, makes it feel like a 19th century warship
This is pretty neat and useful! We may have the hollow fuselage parts but with this you can remove bits to make a bay door. I know I saw it before but I was looking for one of these now so thanks for this!
For your first this is really good! Mine could hardly fly at all!
This works surprisingly well for how simple it is! Very fun to fly once you get the hang of it
This is pretty nice! The shape is decent and you’ve got a cool cockpit! If you moved the CoL further back though (by making the horizontal stabilisers larger or main wings smaller) it would fly better and be more manoeuvrable
Very well made mosquito with a great camo scheme! One small thing though is the flaps seem to be inverted on one side
Good looking version!
Cool! Would be nice to see one where he’s aiming the rifle too

+1@enenshiya I was just flying with this again and I’m liking it more and more. You’ve got yourself a new follower!

This is an exceptionally fun aircraft to fly, especially landing without fuel!

This doesn’t look too much like a P-38 but it does look like something cool!

This is a wonderful AI ship! Low part count with a good level of detail and useful weaponry. It will be fun to go up against fleets of this thing
+2@Inuyasha8215 hahaha thank you. It’s quite old a bit rubbish now though but I loved it when I made it. Take a look at some of my newer builds if you want to see something I consider pretty good :)

What happened to the last post?

I want to say no but ngl I enjoyed flying this
And rest in peace to all the other unnamed souls aboard that helicopter. I hope it wasn’t his daughters like some newspapers are saying
@SmallSlav1061og I’ll take a look at it
@SmallSlav1061og I love details on builds so that’s what really drew me to this one. You’d should continue in this style!
I am loving this spitfire overdose I am getting right now! Great build!
Wish they were golden
