@vcharng they aren’t banned at all. I set the limit on what real aircraft could be built more so that you don’t have aircraft such as F-18s entered

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@SovietBun they count as they were both in use. The P-51 would have to be navalised though

Congratulations buddy! You really make phenomenal planes and I’m excited to see more of what you can do!

  • 1945-1950 Naval Aviation Challenge (Closed) 6.1 years ago

@atomauhl give it a go! Nothing is disqualified unless it uses air to air missiles. I wanted it to be fun for everyone instead of being very restrictive

  • fliping plane l0l 6.1 years ago

@Hypixel yeah it 100% can. It’s quite hard to control but it is very much possible. In SP at least. In real life I expect it’s possible too but you need computers to make dozens of adjustments per second for you

Okay so I fixed it up a little and it flies pretty well now. Would you like me to post it unlisted and tag you in it

  • fliping plane l0l 6.1 years ago

    @atomauhl sure thing!

  • fliping plane l0l 6.1 years ago

@atomauhl I hope it helps! If you post the fixed version of it tag me in it!

  • A320 V2 6.1 years ago

Whoa! This is an incredible improvement. The wings are at a great angle and the engines are a nice size. Wonderfully made! I’m honestly very impressed with how quickly you made this from your last one

  • Saori XO-280 Knife cutter 6.1 years ago

Do you think there are enough guns?

  • good quad aagun 6.1 years ago

This is really cool! The system the guns use is awesome! How’d you get them to work like that?

  • dark wrath 6.1 years ago

This is actually a pretty decent aircraft. The shape is cool and I like the gull wings. Shame it has mods so I can’t fly it with the guns. Try using more XML parts instead

  • bomber2 prop lil bomb 6.1 years ago

The build quality of this is actually pretty nice! The bomb bay is made well and the overall shape looks like it could have been made at some point. I would now try to focus on the details of the aircraft and making things like the cockpit more visible. Nice job nonetheless!

  • F-35 B Vtol 6.1 years ago

This is pretty good! You have most of the overall shape done pretty well but the nose is a little too pointy/sharp. Nice vtol system as well although it would be cool if the engine moved more realistically

  • ultimater proto=ßc 6.1 years ago

I don’t really know what to say about this but it’s, oddly enough, quite cool!

  • Mig-25 6.1 years ago

Whoa! I can’t believe I didn’t see this. It’s fantastic! You have yourself a new follower my friend!

  • Cy-27 6.1 years ago

Your airplanes always fly so well! You should focus on the shape though. Try to have a diagram with you so you can make sure all the proportions and angles are correct. Nice build anyway!

  • I-153 6.1 years ago

I absolutely love this plane and this is a very nice replication of it! One of my goals in life is to see one of the last few flying hahaha. I would make the undercarriage retractable though like on the real one.

  • Interested in another challenge? (Naval 1945-1950) 6.1 years ago

@Trainzo I will upload it now. Is until 31 December enough time?

  • E-20 (Teki no Kichi) Setup 1 6.1 years ago

Damn! This thing is incredibly cool! What a wonderful aircraft

  • Interested in another challenge? (Naval 1945-1950) 6.1 years ago

@Trainzo Would you be interested in trying this? I think some soviet aircraft of the time would be very cool if they had the ability to land and takeoff from an aircraft carrier

  • Thai Rafele m 6.1 years ago

This is really nice! It would be cooler though if you attached the front canard to the pitch control too

  • F-4 phantom lll [TH] 6.1 years ago

You might also want to think about taking a better screenshot of it. If you take a look at how I take the first screenshot, you can see the plane in the whole from from a cool angle. That’ll get a lot more people seeing this :)

  • F-4 phantom lll [TH] 6.1 years ago

Okay so the overal shape and proportions are a little off but other than that it’s really incredible! The build quality of this is top notch and your custom control surfaces are superb. Nicely made cockpit too. From just this alone, you have a new follower

  • ACE 7 AutoNomus Aircraft 6.1 years ago

Wow! You really built yourself a monster here! Cool plane

  • fliping plane l0l 6.1 years ago

The problem you’ve got here is that you CoM is behind your CoL. It’s very hard to make a plane fly like this. So to fix this, you have to add weight to the front and move your wings back. It’s hard to do this using the square blocks but with the fuselage blocks, you can add weight and fuel to them which moves the CoM. On this one, try moving the wings back and putting the engines a little forward

  • S-Machete 6.1 years ago

    @GTAEnterprises no problem :)

  • KM J38 TVC S 6.1 years ago

This is a really wonderful aeroplane! It flies well and looks even better! I really enjoy the weapons bay on this too. The one thing you might want to add is thrust vectoring!

  • S-Machete 6.1 years ago

@GTAEnterprises that’s very odd. It moves a tiny amount so maybe it’s not noticeable. Try holding the arrows down for a few seconds and see if your selected part moves

  • S-Machete 6.1 years ago

@GTAEnterprises did you scroll down to the part where it says “position part”?

  • YF-23 Mk2 6.1 years ago

Whoa this is made so well! The overall shape is pretty good and there are just a few move of the complicated design features that need to be worked on. Otherwise it’s really nice and the thrust vectoring is very good too

  • 1130 6.1 years ago

This is a really nicely made CIWS! Not too complex, not too simple, and it looks realistic! Nice one

  • S-Machete 6.1 years ago

@GTAEnterprises and don’t worry it’s not annoying at all!

  • S-Machete 6.1 years ago

@GTAEnterprises what happens when you do it? Does only one part move or can you not find the menu?

  • S-Machete 6.1 years ago

Try going through the steps again though. The feature is probably the most useful one in the game

  • S-Machete 6.1 years ago

@GTAEnterprises hey no problem at all! I even somewhat enjoy it when people ask for help (I like teaching). The nudge button basically moves pieces slightly while still keep them connected to the rest of the plane. This means you can move parts inside the fuselage so that you can’t see them or you can move them apart so that they aren’t even touching. Even though they aren’t touching, they will still be connected and flying together

  • Yak-52 6.1 years ago

@Trainzo I always enjoy encouraging new players! Sometimes I see that they really have potential and I don’t want them to give up thinking it’s too hard and no one cares about their aircraft (how I felt in the beginning but I was also not so good hahaha). I like to see lots of nice planes on this website

    +1
  • S-Machete 6.1 years ago

@GTAEnterprises no problem! So to find the nudge feature, click on a part you would like to move slightly, the click on the arrow above the gear button (it’s the second last one on the right), and after that, new buttons will appear. Then click, from the new buttons, the one that is second to the top (it looks like a gear with something inside it). After pressing this one, a whole menu will appear on the left side. Here you can either rotate parts or if you scroll down and press the arrows, you can nudge them. There is also a button which says “selected part” in the same menu. If you click on that, it will change your connected part and then the piece of your plane you have selected will connect to a few of the parts it’s touching and all of those will be able to be moved at the same time.

If this is too complicated to understand please let me know and I will try to simplify it :)

  • Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat 6.1 years ago

@Brencool35 I’ll make an exception for you since you posted this so soon before I was planning on making the challenge. Just report a new one as a successor so that I have a list of all the planes in the challenge. I’ll tag you in the post tomorrow

  • beta135 Blackjack 6.1 years ago

It’s a little skinny but the general idea is good. Work on the dimensions a little more maybe

  • GCP-ATK Cerberus 6.1 years ago
