@Snowdog no it isnt and the lack of mod support happened only to 1.9, so if you got 1.8, you can use mods. The removal of mod support was due a policy change with google

Mod support was shut down for mobile. If you got any part mods, they will not work. Map mods do, as long as they are android compatible. If you are on PC, i dont know why it would do that.
