    clickety click

  • Thanks! 7.3 years ago

    @poopatron71 reducing lag has nothing to do with it. My phone can run 800+ part planes given most of the parts are simple ones like fuselages, but the website does not even let mobile devices download them. Removing the cockpit is just a way to get around that restriction

  • Thanks! 7.3 years ago

    Can you upload one for mobile? All you need to do is add a cockpit (make sure it's not attached to the plane) and make it primary, and the website will think it only has one part and will let mobile players download it

  • Something big is coming. 7.3 years ago

    For landing gear, couldn't you just use scaled stock gear of some sort because it doesn't have any drag when retracted?

  • YAY GOLD! 7.3 years ago

    Maybe a meteor? Or another WWII jet, I really like them

  • WHY IT TOOK SO LONG?! 7.3 years ago

    Looks great! And as long as it works on low physics settings, it'll be mobile friendly enough. I can run planes with over 800 parts on low settings on my 2013 model phone (iPhone 5s) and bc this is mostly fuselage blocks it won't lag too much

  • Something big is coming. 7.3 years ago

    Awesome! The p-51 is my favorite airplane, I'm glad someone is building it in SP!

  • Why we need 1.8 to be as big as 1.2 7.3 years ago

    Many of these (like lifting bodies) would just make the game impossible for mobile phones to run anything remotely detailed

  • Headlights 7.3 years ago

    People have wanted lights that acted as a light source before, and the devs said it would be too much of a performance hindrance to implement into the game

  • Why we need 1.8 to be as big as 1.2 7.3 years ago

    @Bman0101 you just need to be stationary on the deck, and the stock p51 can do it

  • Northrop N9M 7.3 years ago

    @CoBros2 did you mean Northrop Grumman? Unless there's a gumdrop variant I don't know about lol

  • Uncontrollable rolling busted 7.3 years ago

    It happens in real life, but I'm pretty sure it's just a glitch tho. If it was intentional things like helicopters would need to have a functional tail rotor to stay stable but the propellor doesn't torque the helicopter around like it would in real life. You're totally right that it happens in real life, it's just the SP physics simulation isn't that in-depth

  • M.Corp AH-1 Mamba 7.3 years ago

    @EternalDarkness oh awesome, I didn't know that still worked

  • M.Corp AH-1 Mamba 7.3 years ago

    How did you get the missiles to lock on to targets outside the lock-on circle???

  • Airbus A330-300 7.3 years ago

    @EpicPigster1 I bet this will look awesome with a livery, and np!

  • SimplePlanes Masters, Reminder of our goals 7.3 years ago

    Gotta love how a group where the requirements for membership are skill and kindness, and whose only purpose is fun and improving the members' skill, can make a post saying just as much and still get a whole load of crap for it. Also I'm curious, who is in the Masters chat?

  • Airbus A330-300 7.3 years ago

    The window lights are genius!

  • Realistic Mach 2 Performance? 7.3 years ago

    @F104Deathtrap np!

  • Realistic Mach 2 Performance? 7.3 years ago

    @F104Deathtrap glad I could help, hopefully you solve the problem!

  • Realistic Mach 2 Performance? 7.3 years ago

    @F104Deathtrap I don't have experience with fixing that, but I've seen other users complain about that problem too. It's much worse on low physics settings, but increased weight makes it happen on higher settings (which I assume you're running). My best guess at a fix would be clipping another set of wheels (with collisions disabled) inside the ones already there to share the load between the wheels, but I haven't tested that so it might not work. Also I think it was BaconEggs who I saw talk about this first and I'm pretty sure he found a fix

  • Update Suggestion: Longer Range 7.3 years ago

    I'd love this. If not, putting a range attribute in the XML at least so we can build our own missiles around the existing ones. Too bad they didn't leave in the glitch that allowed scaled cockpits to have further radar ranges

  • Im confuzzled 7.3 years ago

    Upload the image to some public site, copy the images URL (needs to have .PNG or some other kind of image tag on it) and then type
    ![](image URL)

  • there is no such thing as too big 7.3 years ago

    @TheNightmare811 true, my friend's 6s can handle bigger. A lot can't though

  • Realistic Mach 2 Performance? 7.3 years ago

    @F104Deathtrap I've noticed the engines acting funny like that too. Like deactivating them locks them at whatever the throttle input was when they were deactivated instead of turning them off. To solve your problem, look at the current wing loading of your plane and add weight and wing area until the acceleration is where you want it but the wing loading stays the same (which will leave the stall speed and other characteristics virtually untouched)

  • Q and A with EternalDarkness 7.3 years ago

    Was your goal to be popular or did you just enjoy making planes and eventually end up where you are now?

  • Time for another poll 7.3 years ago

    I like both the green ones

  • Help!!!! TBF Avenger Bomb Bay Doors (SOLVED) 7.3 years ago

    Part connections get messed up when mirroring, so normally rotating a part (4 times to get it back where it was) or moving it but placing it where it just was will connect it to whatever is right there

  • Compact - X100B 7.3 years ago

    These are getting better and better!

  • Missile puller experiment 7.3 years ago

    @Gemista yeah sure, I'll upload and tag you in it

  • Missile puller experiment 7.3 years ago

    @Visify thanks, and I was too! It didn't for the first few (hundred) tries

  • Notifications lie to me 7.3 years ago

    If you press the share button on imgur posts (in app) you can copy the address or open in strait in your web browser and copy the images individually from there

  • What are your thoughts on my planes? 7.3 years ago

    I think you already know that I like them :)

  • Airbus A310-300 (Air Transat Livery) 7.3 years ago

    Awesome!

  • RAE AH-1 "Guardian" 7.3 years ago

    Yep, flies really nicely

  • there is no such thing as too big 7.3 years ago

    Unfortunately, if a plane goes more than about 150 blocks from the center it crashes mobile devices. It doesn't matter about part count. (A long row of fuselage blocks with maybe 30 parts will do it

  • Any requests for features on my next plane? 7.3 years ago

    I can't think of anything that's not on this list

  • Airbus A310-200F 7.3 years ago

    @EpicPigster1 awesome!

  • Airbus A310-200F 7.3 years ago

    Nice! PS: make the nose gear turnable so I can pretend I landed on the middle of the runway :P

  • Change engine noises? 7.3 years ago

    @FlyingThings that is an excellent idea

  • Change engine noises? 7.3 years ago

    That would be really cool. Maybe a little too in depth for the stock game, but a mod like that would be neat

  • Unguided rockets! 7.3 years ago

    @Blue0Bull I should be able to do that. Some early tests with guided missiles went well enough. I'll need a really light warhead though, could you make that for me? It would be a x0.25 scale boom 25 with nearly no weight

  • Unguided rockets! 7.3 years ago

    @Gemista Sweet. It'll have to be a tiny bit thicker than its supposed to be (like 1/16 of a block) but I'll get to work on it!

  • Wow that was close 7.3 years ago

    Is that an AI controlled drone turret or just one that you set up?

  • Can somebody help? 7.3 years ago

    @Razor3278 thank you!

  • Unguided rockets! 7.3 years ago

    @Razor3278 yeah I think that's the one he was taking about

  • Help needed, 5 upvotes reward 7.3 years ago

    @Razor3278 ok, thanks so much. Here it is

  • Unguided rockets! 7.3 years ago

    @Gemista this one?

  • Help needed, 5 upvotes reward 7.3 years ago

    Also, could you XML mod something for me? It's really simple and i could make a custom rocket or something for you in return. I saw your profile said you like custom weapons

  • Help needed, 5 upvotes reward 7.3 years ago

    The CoT needs to be in line vertically with the CoM (but put a gyroscope on it and then you'll just need to get it close) and the CoL doesn't matter that much. Pretty much just put a typical tail section ( rudder and tail wings) and you'll be fine

  • THANK YOU!!!!! GOLD!!!! 7.3 years ago

    Congrats!
