@emptybox Due to the lack of participants, if you would like to enter go ahead, I can extend the time. No one will mind. Same for anybody else who wants to get any last minute entries in, I'll give it a week.
@GenrichTitov You know they could very easily change the point display to read 10115, instead of 10.1k, it is the same number of characters. @TheLatentImage @AndrewGarrison
I added a length 4.0 x w .25 x h .25 pole under the front and the used fine tuner to reduce it down to 0.01. +3 drag point, now able to take off from runways.
It is called striving for something.
SP is not a points game, it is not a wealth game. SP is all about bettering yourself and maybe learning to do things in a different way.
SP.com on the other hand IS a POINTS game. Using and enhancing your social skills. Have you noticed that the majority of this community are rather nice people? That is because they have figured what this part of the game is about how you act and talk to people here, the planes just give us something to talk about, a reason to come here.
I have spent more time HERE in the last three months than on any other social media.
All I can say about the little guys and new people to SP.COM is: Upvote them, follow them, try their planes(or not), give constructive critisims and be friendly. They will grow or they will be weeded out.
Plus the game itself has been updated allowing bigger builds, giving the oldsters a chance to put their skills to the test by building anything they want, "the sky IS the limit"
I understand not being able to mirror the entire plane after a certain point. But you can mirror individual parts, if not on plane, you can pull it off, mirror it, and the put it back on, and you only have to worry about positioning not size. You can also mirror assemblies whole as long as they aren't connected to the cockpit/plane. Great job!
This was very easy to take off in VTOL. I found that there was way too much roll control surfaces. I took off all but one on either side. And added an inverse pitch on the front Wing section. As soon as I did that it handled much better especially in rolls.
I believe it is either 15 or 20 k
Thanks @treadmill103 it is the same as yesterday's - the challenge didn't allow @gestours Pilot mod. Oh well, my bad.
Congrats on silver. Gold is next. Keep building.
The dimensions aren't exact and it could use some more detailing. But it flies and it lands.
That is almost like mine

happy Friday the 13th
Yeah I will start on it as soon as I get home to my PC
Mullet is a no no.

I have something very similar
Excellent VTOL plane. Just have to be super gentle on the controls and it flies like a dream.
You forgot the second b from bomber.
Wonderfully pointless.

You can do any of mine at any time, feel free. I love watching my planes be enjoyed.

@Mellons planes out of a car is a lot easier in a game called Simple planes. But this is hover, the point is to stay near the ground.

someone already did @lasoul @twinstarindustries
What @gestour said. Edit after. Check for spelling, spacing and anything else that needs to be changed. You can even come back a year later and edit.
c'est la vie
What is it that the French say? Oh yeah, c'est la vie.
Though the propellers break off after reaching about 1500 mph
:-)
Please change the spelling of the title to alphabet.

@TurklerRS grab those brake lights put them in your sub assemblies and label them brake lights that way you can use them all the time.
Congratulations on 10K.
@Smasher Gotta love a free market. Hover for the masses.
Hover conversion?

The color is reminiscent of oxidized copper, so apropos!!! @MrMecha @SimpleFlow
@GenrichTitov trust me I tried and I tried, almost any other configuration it becomes extremely unstable.
Ah I remember those days.... like page 7 or 8 in my posts.
That's not how this works, we already know that about this cockpit. You're supposed to build a plane around the cockpit and then we upvote that.
Start in air, throttle up VTOL up, trim down. Excellent ornithopter.
Successor!
Nice. Here's one that works on water. If you want to see. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/mhri18/2115-Mailtruck

"It" of course means, make the whole bus. Hell even throw in the Corvette. That would be too awesome.
Do it. Come on just do it.
Check out his cousin in my posts.
hooray! Thanks.
