Mods shouldn't have to fight with people in my opinion
Here's my solution:
Moderators can issue a strike or ban and the person who is going to receive it will have a week to respond with an apology or something
say they have been issues a strike then if they apologise and state it won't happen again, they're only issued a warning and if they continue to disobey mods, then they have a temporary ban (say a month or a week)
if they have a perma ban and they apologise and pledge it won't happen again (within a week or so) they are only banned for a small amount of time (maybe a week max) or given a strike
If they do something similar or the same offence then they're banned
Simple
Follow the rules:
Stay on the site
Break the rules:
Apologise, pledge it won't happen again and you're somewhat rewarded
Don't follow the rules:
See yourself to the door, we don't need you here
