@SimpleStudent try having the horizontal turret degree range to 180, then set the turrets values to -2 and 2 and have it funkied to TargetHeading/360, I suspect the turret tries to do a complete 180 before then aiming at the target, this might help.
I haven't ignored your post but the topic is extremely complicated to explain so I've been working on it for a good while to have it in layman terms for you.
But, what you can do for the direct aim aspect is to have the rotator that controls the turret elevation (up and down) funkied with TargetElevation/90, where 90 is the degree range of the rotator, you can set it to any degree you want as long as the rotator degree range also matches.
And for the rotator that controls the horizontal movement of the turret, TargetHeading/90 should suffice.
Importantly; You want the entire turret assembly to be attached to a rotator pointing straight froward, that's funkied to RollAngle/360, since the turret can only aim if it's perfectly upright, this would keep it upright regardless of how many times you roll so it can properly keep on target, the maximum rotation range for the small rotator is 180 so make sure to go into the input settings and set the -1 and 1 to -2 and 2.
There's a lot more to it but I hope that helps so far.
If any of the rotators are spinning the wrong way, just add a - sign in front of the 90 or the 360 to the rotator that's faulty.
If flight quality could be tasted then Gordon Ramsay would be bowing to you, this is stunning work and deeply refreshing in a site where looks are what's prioritized instead of flight behavior, that's where the real skill lies. Immeasurably amazing work here.
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes less about coding and more about knowing how to properly size and place airfoils around an airframe, my comparatively more rudimentary looking D.20B has a very similar platform and flies very well otherwise. This looks dope though.
Left aileron facsimile is working a bit improperly but it's a lovely build, I'm sure you're aware of people's opinions about the cockpit but it's no big deal.
You definitely studied on building techniques if your first build is like this, especially concerning funky trees code, i do admit this makes me skeptical that this is your first build, nonetheless you did a great job with it.
The weapons bays reminds me of how i made mines work on my NGAD helkeska conversion and my viperwolf mk.ii, i love the landing gear too, this is very well made!
@STENDEC originally it did use rotors, but they were too much of a burden to tweak and edit for what they were needed for, as they didn't need to do much, so i just used propellers which actually worked better than the rotors and allow for good flight behavior.
@jumo004 looking at the tail configuration this model is the first demonstrator for the FC-31, it infact did have such an airbrake, the second demonstrator, recognisable by its F-35 looking vertical tail fins, did away with it.
Holy freaking christ no wonder my phantom lost to this thing it turns like a kite jesus, I thought the aircraft for the challenge were supposed to be authentic to real life performance? Have my upvote it looks great
@EnigmaSP It's a simple fix, there's either a + or - sign in front of "Roll" in the code, just after the final parentheses for inverselerp, I just switch the + to a - and on the other side with the - I switch it to the +
Never once have I encountered a high quality build that also has extremely high quality flight characteristics, it's just perfect oml 💞

+1It's super dope
@MAPA finally someone actually knows it by name
+1@junseo2709 glad you enjoy it!
+1@SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore better watch out!
+1@LoneSpaceGaming
It's been resolved years ago, but I appreciate it.
@Wiksi123 yes
@TheCommentaryGuy there are a lot of non canon adjustments and modifications to this build.
+1@wheatfield90 it didn't tag you as the predecessor for some reason
@Mustang51 thank you!

+1@PyrrhaNikos it can definitely be an improvised instant PSM cheat tool lmfao
@PyrrhaNikos as long as credit is given do whatever you wanna
@Robomo00119 thanks!!

+1Literally the best and most well coded HUD ever shared in this site, it even has a gunnery funnel!!! I love it so much!!!
+3@ThomasRoderick hey! I'm doing alright!
+2Good lord that musculature is insane
+1It's definitely difficult but one can take it down with a finely coded missile
+2Eyyyyy 100th upvote, congrats! This runs stunningly
@Koww just download, reverse action, then redo action, should appear without the mod
It's so PREEETYYYY
@IceCraftGaming no gyro, only inertial stabilizer
+1@CursedA10 the end of this month
You definitely studied on building techniques if your first build is like this, especially concerning funky trees code, i do admit this makes me skeptical that this is your first build, nonetheless you did a great job with it.
+1@ETOPZ sure have fun!
@OUGHTO yes it's really nice
The flight model is insanely good, thanks for actually paying attention to how she flies instead of focusing just on looks. Awesome job!!

Missing control surfaces for roll but i added them and this flies very very nicely, nice job!
+1@Aditiaa oh my god how I'd love to know how to make the wing disappear
Wow this is actually pretty decently made
@xNotDumb
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/shVBGc/ViperWolf
What are the differences
This thing is stunning what the hell
@jumo004 looking at the tail configuration this model is the first demonstrator for the FC-31, it infact did have such an airbrake, the second demonstrator, recognisable by its F-35 looking vertical tail fins, did away with it.
+1Wonderful plane, the flight characteristics could use quite some work but it's otherwise nicely done!
This has extremely decent flight quality it's very rare for a good looking build to actually fly this damn well, excellent job
+2Oh man I love it, it's like an Israeli take on a swing wing
One of the wings is buried deeper into the fuselage than the other causing unwanted roll attitude during pitch, overall it's a very nice plane.
+1Oh I like this
+1@KaiTheGuy8905 send link
+1@PigeonBagle what in the world would that even look like LMAO

+1Lovely craft, just a note, the roll input for the nozzles is reversed
