I know a "simple" solution. Try making the entire aircraft a subassembly, created new aircraft, and load the subassembly into the cockpit. The same thing happened to me just yesterday.
I want you to take my word for it: "practice, practice, practice, and more and more practice." I can't stress this enough to you. Practice lots and lots while making lots of friends here and you will do just fine.
I understand you don't feel appreciated, but you need to act kindly and make friends here before you become fully realized. Posting a forum complaining about not getting upvotes is not the kind of attention you want.
@DerekSP I practiced for an entire 6 months before entering the community. To compare with the people who get up votes, you need to be adept at making reasonably detailed aircraft, getting followers by demonstrating good aeronautical engineering prowess, and having a generally good attitude. People want to upvote things that appeal to them. So start putting lots and lots of time into practicing and refining your aircraft. And maybe (in anywhere from 4 months to 2 years) you will make it to the big leagues.

Using scaled cockpits in particular is fiddly business. Remember to make the whole build a subassembly, and use a completely different cockpit.
