Luckily I do know a way to stop a dog but it's best done with gloves for things larger then a puppy basically grab the bottom jaw and try to force it back maybe into a hole or something to temporarily stop it which this trick helped me a couple times
@GuardianAerospace It would be smarter to just take them and keep then as pets instead of killing them I hope they just take over the everglades honestly it would be nice to have pythons in Florida instead of having to go to South America to see them
