@ChrisPy my suggestion for the bouncing is to add tons of weight to the keel, and then set the buoyancy as low as you can.
The boats are going to spawn so far away from you that they will have settled down by the time you fly to them. Theoretically.
I'm sorry, that is not a sea going vessel.
Plus the controls are wrong, and the name does not qualify.
I hate to say any of that, because I think the build is good, but it is not at all right for this challenge.
Nice boat.
If you want it to be a part of the challenge, there are a few things that have to be done.
it absolutely has to be a successor to the challenge, so that people can look up your boat, and download it if they wish.
You need to save it on your system with a good ship name, i.e. S.S. Something.
"Fishing boat" is not an acceptable name.
And last, it has 20 too many parts, the challenge is called 100 part ship challenge. Can you take off some details?
@Kangy Its my system lagging, has nothing to do with the mod. My system always lags. XD :{
Plus, for testing purposes, there are 24 ships within 5K, and it will not be like that when released.
can you update them again with way less steering?
The AI always turns with full power, and these ships, which I like a lot, turn way too fast, like 10 seconds for a full 360.
Hey. Since we are at it, there is another issue with your ship, I think the cockpit is too high up, when it spawns, it is underwater partially, and it springs up, bounces, then rolls over.
I suggest moving the cockpit down, within 10 meters of the water line, and add a bunch of weight to the keel.
The obscure programming wizardry is called reflection.
You need to Get the TOD script from whatever component it's on in the game, then Set the variable.
Something Like...
GameObject.Find("SkyDone_Low(Clone)").GetComponent<TOD>().whateveritis = 0;
I have never tried to do that particular thing, so IDK where the script actually is, so what I wrote is just an example of how it could potentially be done.
@winterro Sure. Maybe you can get the part count down a bit too?
The challenge has a 100 part limit to prevent lag in the mod. A few extra parts is fine, but 30 extra parts is a third of another boat that could have been loaded.
@TirpitzWantsPlanes The boat is going to have to move, it will be launched randomly into the ocean, not put up in dock.
The boat should have an actual boat name, or a model number, or registration number.
@11qazxc It can be wind powered, but if the player has wind turned off, your boat will just sit there.
Funky Trees is ok, as long as it doesn't do anything too weird, or lag the game.
These need to be surface vessels, I intend on doing a seperate submarine challenge at some point if this challenge works out okay.
Nevermind, I changed my mind, I like the dummies. XD
Thanks!
Nice!
Can I remove the dummies?

@P1T1KU it would be bad, especially with those chicken legs.
Thank you.
Thank you.
@MTindustries yes, just the title of the post. If it's no trouble. It's not super important, but may help you get upvotes later.
Can you edit the title of this post to that? So people can find your ship later if they want.
Thanks.
Is that a boat?
Funny.
I cannot use this.
Thank you!
Thank you.
The name is an issue, as radar is never going to display the vessel class name, I renamed it U.S.S. Sparrow.

@WilboorSut I believe what is missing is surface tension, but I do not know how to simulate that.
@Junkers87stuka No submarines!
Surface vessels only please.
@rexzion Yes, boats.
@Junkers87stuka Yeah.
@ChrisPy a coast guard cutter would be good.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Cool.
Very nice.
I read what you wrote...
The AI gives it full throttle immediately.
Maybe I need to change that.
I will test.
@asteroidbook345 Sounds cool.
@winterro IDK. Good work though, and thanks again.
@asteroidbook345 I was wrong. It's all new boats. XD
Thank you!
Thank you.
I like it a lot, it will probably blow up immediately upon landing on it, but it's worth a shot.
@Himynameiswalrus Haha, I only collected a lot of points, not popularity.
At least that is what i thought. XD
@asteroidbook345 It's the same 2 ships! We have been troubleshooting them to make it work as good as possible.
Cool. Thanks again.
@AmericaSovietJMP Never mind! I see it. I was thrown off by you telling me the link!
Thanks.
XD
@AmericaSovietJMP you have to upload it as a successor to this challenge!
@Hiiamhere ok
@winterro excellent. Thank you.

@SyntheticL I will accept late submissions.
@FishMiner Yeah, that would be cool.
@LastManStanding I wish I could, but that's not my mod.
Excellent!
This is exactly the type of boat I need.
Himy!

@TirpitzWantsPlanes Any good boat is allowed.
