    I mean maybe yours wings are too small as 150mph should do for a plane this size @Imsomeone

  • Lancaster 4.9 years ago

    But props don't rotate at 300mph... @Imsomeone

  • X-Liner 7 WIP (need help because I'm noob) 4.9 years ago

    @XAircraftManufacturer oh and you can hide an extra layer of wings inside the wings. to ensure max lift, you can change it to Flat bottom. That usually works.

    @XAircraftManufacturer As much as a hollow fuselage seems hollow, it isn't to the game's physics engine. You don't need more thrust, you just need set calculateDrag to false for the fuselage pieces surrounding the engines so they can get air.

    The deadline has now been extended to 9/14 At 12pm UTC.
    You can convert this time to your respective time zones.
    No exceptions will be made.

  • [CLOSED] Airliner Challenge 4.9 years ago

    @DPSAircraft
    I will think about it.

    Airplane single-engine land, (basically fixed wing, single engine). I fly a C172

    Please make an F-35 in 35 parts @Cabbage17
    XD

  • RJ230T 4.9 years ago

    I read this before @DPSAircraft
    But I don’t have enough time and commitment
    I’m a full time student here, even during currently unprecedented times XD
    PS were still stuck at home here in the US

  • [CLOSED] Airliner Challenge 4.9 years ago

    Wow! @DPSAircraft
    Should I extend the deadline? I honestly don’t know how long it takes you guys to build stuff XD

  • [CLOSED] Airliner Challenge 4.9 years ago

    @Imsomeone you make a subassembly for your plane, download this, delete all but the cockpit, paste in the subassembly, put in the cockpit of your choice, then set your new cockpit as primary, and upload etc.

  • RJ230T 4.9 years ago

    @BnanaX Serious disappointment
    Sure, the landing gear has problems sometimes.
    Please, offer me some constructive critiques if you want to criticize. Just saying it’s bad does nothing but make me sad.

    @WarshipDude Oh.

  • RJ230T 4.9 years ago

    @FireFast212 Sorry about that. I did think it was bullying, but I give my apology as the rules were unclear. Please do include a clear definition of this though to prevent any confusion in the future. Thank you so much! :)

  • RJ230T 4.9 years ago

    @FireFast212 You shouldn't just bully people around with an unclear definition.

  • RJ230T 4.9 years ago

    @FireFast212 Please tell me then, what is "new"? You just said "no reposts". This is certainly not a repost, as my previous (work in progress!) build is obviously different. I still spent a lot of time on it. Even if everything is the same (which it isn't), I still went through some degree of effort repainting the whole thing. Not that I'm going to do anything about it, but do make it clear about what is new and what isn't please. After all, there is still only a certain number of parts in SP, so nothing can completely be unique. Plus, my airliner is still a work in progress.

  • RJ230 (work in progress) 4.9 years ago

    And about the wing pieces, they have abysmal drag already; it’d be unwise to make it thicker @DPSAircraft
    About the small fuselage, this is supposed to be a regional jet. For its dimensions, it very closely matches the CRJ1000.

  • RJ230 (work in progress) 4.9 years ago

    It’s called pitch down??? @DPSAircraft
    I’m very confused
    EDIT: of course there is a technical name for it. But I don’t know. Either way the result is the plane pitching up.

    Thanks @F104Deathtrap

  • Engine performance... a solution (maybe) 4.9 years ago

    @Aeromotive @DPSAircraft @WarshipDude
    Obviously, I have made some mistakes here.
    I’m not qualified to teach you the mechanics of jet engines. You can spend years learning this. But the solution I presented works pretty well and that’s why this post was made. Some of your comments point out that there are mistakes, but I can’t seem to understand all of them.

  • Engine performance... a solution (maybe) 4.9 years ago

    I have used input before @DPSAircraft
    It’s just that I forgot - I changed the post now.
    About SR2, yes. The highest bypass is 7 to 1

  • Engine performance... a solution (maybe) 4.9 years ago

    @rexzion Most likely
    powerMultiplier is power for props though

    Oh and full power, flaps, and cruise don’t go well together...
    XD maybe SP is just unrealistic

  • Know the size of the fuselage block you use before you finish a plane! 5.0 years ago

    @Stratus Well, that's my experience with Fine Tuner. I did something wrong then.
    Yes, you're right.

  • Know the size of the fuselage block you use before you finish a plane! 5.0 years ago

    @Poro Of course... many people use blueprints.
    But then again, not everyone uses blueprints

  • Know the size of the fuselage block you use before you finish a plane! 5.0 years ago

    Yes but sometimes it turns out wrong... I'm pretty sure the coordinates of parts stay the same so that can cause problems. @Stratus
    And considering fine tuner wasn't available in mobile until recently, a huge portion of the community don't know about it.
    Plus, you might just never know. That's the whole reason the mistake is made in the first place.

    Cool looking plane! @Pojatlski
    It is very impressive... I guess I’ll spotlight it to my very few followers then. It’s very nice to see the work of those who just started, like me.

  • RJ200-200 5.0 years ago

    Thank you @Panzion
    Why are (some) people so mean to noobs who don’t know everything about the community? People all start like this. Imagine the bullies getting bullied. They would get mad and all.
    (And of course I’m not talking about you if that is not clear)

  • RJ200-200 5.0 years ago

    That’s fair @Panizon
    I guess I’ll remove that then

  • RJ200-200 5.0 years ago

    Probably not @Eiro
    The plane has a gyro inside
    Also I have a smaller version here
    Maybe it has better maneuverability so you can probably tweak it and try yourself.
    Plus, I’m pretty sure no airliner has done this.

  • (TSAD) Airbus A340-600 (Collab) Lufthansa 5.7 years ago

    The engines have so little power the plane can’t even takeoff and the middle main gear makes the airplane slide around on the ground. Also the rudder and nose wheel steering does not work
