@WernsterProductions You know, if you want to be famous, you can make your own challenge. As evident in the description, I had 449 points 8 days ago and now I'm silver.
@airlinerbuilder nice
I want to spotlight this but I can’t unless ur first
And your thing is only 300 parts so pls add the mobile friendly tag :)
But I guess people with potato phones still can’t XD
@Wallaby come on
But I see your laziness in your inability to correct the fact that the landing gear wasn’t sturdy enough in your A190s
Also the ground clearance makes landings near impossible
XD
@PoyuToyu You can solve both of you cons with the magic of funky trees. Use these for input for your engine and wheels, where X is 1/2 times the speed you want to limit this truck to:
Engine input: GS < X ? Pitch : 0
Wheel steering input: GS < 15 ? Yaw : 0.3*Yaw
@PoyuToyu Sure.
Just read the rules. And some of the scoring criteria only apply for planes. This doesn't mark you down automatically, but you will just be evaluated on fewer factors. And the time limit is 3 hours.
@LostCausesIncorporated It is not necessary to use the cockpit. To all, if you have issues, just take the cockpit off your plane, then save the entire plane minus the cockpit and save as a subassembly, and then download this, delete all but the cockpit, and paste the plane in. Then recheck the plane for issues with car engines.
@Mastermind1941 Sure.
I think more detailed instructions on controls, and some short tutorials on critical flight phases (what to do on takeoff and landing etc). You can also add what makes your airliner stand out.
@Mastermind1941 nice
But I hate extreme controls XD
Funkytrees works on control surfaces now so you can make it smoother next time :)
Also pls read the rubric for descriptions; yours is lacking for my expectations.
It seems like you like my suggestions so here are some more: @Cabbage17
Embraer ERJ145 in 145 parts
Embraer E175 in 175 parts
MD-90 in 90 parts
Boeing model 1 in 1 part
Tu-95 in 95 parts
Airbus 350 in 350 parts
XD
@Cabbage17 Hmm... Maybe build a train. That would be fun.
BR class 378 Capitalstar in 378 parts?
Should be quite easy.
Also, build the Dash 8 Q300 in 300 parts.
@XAircraftManufacturer @JSwannyGaming148 @Eiro @Cabbage17 @2Papi2Chulo @airlinerbuilder @DPSAircraft
@PlaneFlightX
The challenge is ending in 24 hours if y'all are still interested, which I assume so as you have commented, upvoted, or both.
For @Cabbage17, maybe you can tick off some stuff on your list.
Hello @Mustangflyer, thanks for participating. Here is the evaluation for your build.
Performance - You even admit it yourself. But it still flies. 10/40
Innovation - Nice inlet. Also no engine pylons. 1/30
Design - using blocks for most of the fuselage isn't a good choice, especially for you as a silver user. You have kinda messed up with the blocks too, as some places aren't as smooth as desired. You also have this weird inlet. And the smallest wings. 10/25
Livery - the orange inlet looks nice. 5/5
Description - Well, you warned about the quality and handling of the plane. 10/20
Total: 36/120
Again, thank you. I thought more effort would be worth it.
One updoot.
Hi @Nash11, and thank you for participating. Here is the evaluation for your build.
Performance - The plane flies with an unnaturally small wings. I don't know what you did with XML modding, but this shouldn't really be the case. The plane is also very unstable, possibly for the same reason. 25/40
Innovation - Your plane has a lot of interesting elements, like the configuration of wings, engines, and landing gear etc, though some of these things may not be practical in real life. 25/30
Design - Practicality and realism is lacking. The nose and wing-mounted gear is also exposed even after retraction. 10/25
Livery - xml modding the fuel tank to change the fuel tank pattern looks pretty good. But this is still just a random bunch of colors 3/5
Description - you provide instructions for your only control, but when I slid VTOL down the wings were immediately destroyed. So much for your description. 6/20
Total:69/120
Once again, thank you for participating. You will receive 3 upvotes plus any you may receive for being on the podium.
Hello @Captaincarroca.
Thank you for participating.
Here is the evaluation for your entry:
Performance: The acceleration and top speed of your vehicle is too slow to be realistic. Some tanks can drive at speeds of 60mph or more. Also, aiming the cannon sideways can flip and destroy the vehicle. 25/40
Innovation: I like how you use the car engines as ammo storage in the rear, and how you use structural panels around the driver's seat. I would, however, like to see more features and interactive parts. 10/30
Design: Your tank looks nice, but, as aforementioned, more engine horsepower would be welcome. The driver is also a little too exposed and in the open. Aside from those (major) disadvantages, your tank would fare pretty well. 15/25
Livery: Nothing to say here. Maybe camouflage would look better. 4/5
Description: You just explain the naming of your build. Nothing else. 2/20
Total:
56/120
Thank you for participating. You will receive 3 upvotes plus any you receive for being on the podium.
@Eiro @JSwannyGaming148 No, no no!!
V/S is vertical speed, not v speeds. V-speeds are airspeeds that describe the specs and performing characteristics of a plane. As 'v-speeds' is plural, they refer to a series of specs of the aircraft. There are too many of them to explain, but wikipedia explains better than me and provide examples. They are collectively called v-speeds because they are designated V and a number/abbreviation.
Also, some of them are more important than others
If you are building an airplane, I suggest you list some or all of these for max points:
V1
V2
VFE for specific flap settings
VLE
VLO
VLOF
VMC
VNE
VR
VRef
VS
@XAircraftManufacturer At your request, the guidelines have been changed to include land vehicles and watercraft. Anything else and maybe the point system may also be changed but I don't want that to happen.
@JSwannyGaming148 But the short time limit is the whole point of this challenge. You can see the link above for the Airliner Challenge. Maybe it's more suitable for you.
@Yeet1234
@DPSAircraft
@Yeet1234 Can it be a repost or does it have to be new?

+1@Panizon Ok.
@Nash11 Thanks
I put a lot of thought into them. Maybe that's why the two of them pushed me from 449 to getting silver rank.
@Cabbage17 You're welcome!
+1@WarshipDude Please, I am tired of this joke. You already said it and it's not funny.
@WarshipDude ok
@PoyuToyu oh nice and thanks
@Panizon nice!
I wanna spotlight this but I reached the spotlight limit >:(

@PoyuToyu No this is a speed build. I copied the rules over but it is not limited to airliners ;)
@PoyuToyu Yes.
