@ihateairbusa330
You divide the wings into "sections" of fuselages, put hinges between the sections, and connect the wing sections to the hinges. Then set the input to "Disabled", and set the range of motion to 0. You then scale down the stock wing you hide in the custom wing and nudge it to the edge of the wing (This makes the physics engine think the wings are really far from the plane but it doesn't collide with anything) and connect that scaled down stock wing to the tip of the custom wing. The wing will now flex as the hidden stock wing creates more lift, lifting the wing.
@ParziParziTheVal
Here it is. As evident below, I am asking for a successor to your challenge and it should be a successor soon. Enjoy!
I added gear doors lol
It is forbidden to use it for secondary creation without permission
The rules says:
It is okay to download someone else's airplane, make some tweaks, and re-upload a new variation.
In fact, the original designer may even receive bonus points.
However, if your variation does not offer any improvements over the existing airplane, then it may be removed.
If you are circumventing the predecessor/successor system, then you will be banned. Never upload a successor as an original design; give credit to the designer of its predecessor.
@Cabbage17 ur welcome. But the whole reason for the upvote is for me to thank you, not vice versa. Also pls son’s tag me just for the upvote. It clogs your comments, and you can get banned under the new mass tagging rules lol
@Lixcuudis no. You just have to replicate all the cool features of the plane you replicate, and find new ways to build things. You will be docked if you build the same old way that already exists in many iterations, and have no custom and/or interactive features.
@BasicAerospace10 The design of the wings is also bad for the challenge. It has ZERO wing sweep for the most part, which doesn’t do well for speed and agility. Also, how many points do you give for each criterion? This info helps make the challenge more fair and lets participants know what to prioritize when building.
@TheTomcatters Click and read the stream of comments about what some players and a mod thinks of this kind of challenges
Ngl, this is an example of a bad challenge. I suggest you ask more experienced players for advice when grading the challenge. Also, you literally copied @EternalDarkness 's desc. So that's where the advice came from. I tagged the Moderator because I think this is becoming point mining. Clearly, you put next to no effort into this. At least you bothered to not use the default cockpit and you bothered to copy three paragraphs. I don't think this is enough.
After you copied and changed it a bit, you didn't even bother to proof your "own" description. There are no categories for this contest, yet you said:
I will allow one entry per user per category
no
I am not trying to bully you. After all, I am only silver, and basically no one notices me. The point is, you do not deserve to get points for copying three paragraphs from a more well respected player. As a final note, Eternal did not give ten points for a paint job.
As a message to Eternal, if you are reading this, I hope this is not hate speech. If it is, I sincerely apologize and I accept the consequences.
@BnanaX I get it now. You used FT code, so all you have to do is replace Throttle in your FT with the thing I sent you, put between (parentheses). However, beware of the fact that wings can snap due to the high torque at higher altitudes.
@BnanaX The throttle levers? If so, yes. Use Throttle for all but engines
Th thing is, we are only multiplying thrust because it is what the game does not do for us. Therefore even when thrust is multiplied you can pretend it isn't
@BnanaX If you have issues, try using this as input for the engines: Throttle*((0.5*TAS/IAS)+0.5)
This is funky trees. Not that hard. TAS/IAS is 1 at sea level, and increases as air density decreases. Other than that, it is self-explanatory.
With this multiplier in, it means that at cruising altitude, throttle output is about 1.5x that of sea level.
And ohhhhhh I’m sooooo close to 3k XD
@BnanaX DO I SEE MASS TAGGING? XD
Good airplane. However, you should use funky trees to increase the thrust of the engines at higher altitudes because in theory, you need to apply less thrust during cruise than on takeoff. Also, you NEVER apply full thrust for more than three minutes, and I'm sure 3-minute flights do not live up to this long-range potential.
@ParziParziTheVal ok lol
@ParziParziTheVal Oh no you graded my temporary description.....
@Eternaldarkness can u pls remove the underscores from this guy's name? tagging him is hard lol

@ParziParziTheVal hi lol
Here it is.
@UtsuhoReiuji lol
@Blue0Bull please make this a successor of this
Thanks!
Yes I am nearly at 3.5k lol
That’s 1.5k in just under 3 months
It’s not that hard

Hi. Please make this a successor of

@UtsuhoReiuji good advice lol
Thank you so much!
@Xml_ Thank you.
The rules says:

No u
+1@Jake_ ok
@ParziParziTheVal as long as it can land on both land and water. Also, for bonus points, get me a floating tow plane/winch lol
@PapaKernels I am working on a 787 with @ParziParziTheVal which I may or may not enter.
@Cabbage17 ur welcome. But the whole reason for the upvote is for me to thank you, not vice versa. Also pls son’s tag me just for the upvote. It clogs your comments, and you can get banned under the new mass tagging rules lol
+1@JOEMAMA07 we need higher upvote prizes
@FireFast212 I just noticed I have more points than you now XD
@FireFast212 lol
@yodudechase we need another A340 on the site
@ParziParziTheVal ok lol
Well, my post stall plane is already STOL enough
@ParziParziTheVal I'll just tilt engines 89.9° then lloooollllll
@Lixcuudis no. You just have to replicate all the cool features of the plane you replicate, and find new ways to build things. You will be docked if you build the same old way that already exists in many iterations, and have no custom and/or interactive features.
@FireFast212 Thank you!
@DPSAiracraft Thank you for the upvote and spotlight!
@BasicAerospace10 At least look at someone else’s
@BasicAerospace10 If you are a newbie that is the PRECISE reason why you should NOT host a challenge

@BasicAerospace10 I am not trying
Should I let EternalDarkness give you a lecture on challenges lol?
@GuyFolk ok
@BasicAerospace10 You need grading criteria lol
This is also too specific.
You are also guilty of mass tagging lol
@EternalDarkness
Me: speechless

NO.
@Ayvieyation As long as it is practical. By realistic I mean you can't have a plane as small as an ant.
@BnanaX Well, it worked perfectly fine on a normal engine for me lol
Ohhhh @BnanaX
Maybe it’s something about the electrical engines?

@Kekko ah kk.
Then change the name to just “Citation”
CCX is a model in the CC family.
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook What is @BogdanX 's system? he removed all his challenge posts lol

@Kekko This is like an older model of citation.
@Kekko Nice plane, but I think the CCX has winglets lol
@EternalDarkness @spefyjerbf thank you for the clarification.
