@PyrusEnderhunter what I meant is that aside from what you are currently making, you make another variant that is exactly the same as the original but with the cockpit
@PyrusEnderhunter I see. BTW can you put the same cockpit on my ArcCorp Halcyon? I know you are making a variant of it but I want to have the exact same version (as in exact same, no changes to appearance) just with this cockpit
@CALVIN232 well ok I see you really like the Gyrfalcon series next time just let me know if you are gonna use the frames again and just give them a different name
@CALVIN232 yes, the humble beginnings of what would soon become the NEM's greatest aerospace fighter. Just a note, enough with recycling my Gyrfalcon series. I've seen enough
Vectoring thrusters are nice but the Gyrfalcon series are designed for STEALTH. The original thrusters were meant to reduce energy signatures and these new thrusters defeat its purpose
@JoddyFubuki788 we don't atually move across space when using hyperdrives, we move the space around us! That means we don't move at 210,000 km/s, but the space moves around us at 210,000 km/s. But yeah such speeds are deadly if your ship has no inertial dampeners
@Ephwurd but if humanity ever finds the proper fuel to powed the hyperdrives to beyond lightspeed, then the aliens we would meet in the future will call us gods
@JoddyFubuki788 there's no advancing the anti-matter, its impossible (for real though), and there may be no need to upgrade the hyperdrives as jump gated are already there
@JoddyFubuki788 the fastest hyperdrives can only go to about 0.7 C (70% lightspeed) and 0.7 C is about 210,000 km/s. Faster hyperdrives consume a lot of antimatter, and antimatter doesn't go well with hyperdrives that travel faster than light
@JoddyFubuki788 if the jump gate's gravity wells can't handle the fluxes then it can collapse the wormhole... no there are more than three worlds (read above) and there are plenty of jump gates scattered between the member worlds (powered by either a star or fusion cores). What I described is the concept of operation of a jump gate and its risks/drawbacks
@JoddyFubuki788 an experiment in usng anti-matter as jump gate fuel (the same fuel used in modern hyperdrives) is currently conducted but is yet to yield results.
@JoddyFubuki788 the problem with the fusion cores is that the power required to open a gate is equal to the amount of power the cores contain. (A basic jump gate is powered by 18 fusion cores. Each core can power a ship as large as the Feral Sphinx for around 120 years. And a single use of a jump gate can deplete these 18 cores with a lifespan of around 120 years each in about a minute.) But considering that buying a fusion core on that time is equivalent to buying 135 car batteries in 2016, this may be a good choice.
@JoddyFubuki788 yeah the concept is that a giant ring structure opens a wormhole to a selected destination and this wormhole generator (or jump gate in layman's terms) is fueled either by multiple fusion cores (which often get depleted after a wormhole is opened) or by a nearby star ( infinite power but high risk of energy flux which can damage the gate and cause catastrophic results, like the wormhole collapsing into a black hole)
@Deloreandude the shape of this ship is based off Star Citizen's Aegis Redeemer (go check it out it's waaay cooler) and thank you for your feedback! I really appreciate it :)
@PyrusEnderhunter thanks!
@PyrusEnderhunter I have modded this one already.
@PyrusEnderhunter this one? Sure
@PyrusEnderhunter noice thank you
@PyrusEnderhunter exactly! I'm not in a hurry anyway you can take your time
@PyrusEnderhunter what I meant is that aside from what you are currently making, you make another variant that is exactly the same as the original but with the cockpit

@PyrusEnderhunter it was posted a long time ago (6 months ago I think)
@PyrusEnderhunter this build belongs to someone else. It's even the same colors as the original one.
I think I've seen this build a few months ago
Nice ship!
Those custom-built engine housings are nice too
Noice
Nice work! It's one unique walker
@EasternHorizon I see no changes.
Nice work! Btw can I use this as a base for my next project? Hope you won't mind
@CALVIN232 And my Gyrfalcon series are pretty much finished. The XR-F will be the last one (unless I decide to revamp it into an ArcCorp replica)
@CALVIN232 well ok I see you really like the Gyrfalcon series next time just let me know if you are gonna use the frames again and just give them a different name
@Clawsome that's exactly what I mean :)
:\
You really know how to make them sick paintjobs!
@Johawks1976 what do you mean by file transfer?
Would look cool if it was scaled down and strapped to a starfighter!
@CALVIN232 yes, the humble beginnings of what would soon become the NEM's greatest aerospace fighter. Just a note, enough with recycling my Gyrfalcon series. I've seen enough
@CALVIN232 the Gyrfalcon series are designed for stealth. Those thrusters are nice but it destroys its stealth capabilities
Vectoring thrusters are nice but the Gyrfalcon series are designed for STEALTH. The original thrusters were meant to reduce energy signatures and these new thrusters defeat its purpose
@MechWARRIOR57 well it does but it's not perfect
Looks quite nice!
Warp drives!!
@JoddyFubuki788 we'll try :)
@JoddyFubuki788 yes just like that! But not faster than light
@JoddyFubuki788 we don't atually move across space when using hyperdrives, we move the space around us! That means we don't move at 210,000 km/s, but the space moves around us at 210,000 km/s. But yeah such speeds are deadly if your ship has no inertial dampeners

@JoddyFubuki788 pretty fast, isn't it?

@spefyjerbf thanks!

@JoddyFubuki788 @spefyjerbf what do you think?
Nice work!
@Johndfg thanks for adding the detached cockpit version!
Nice work once again! That paintjob is one of the best I've seen in this community!
Nice work!
Nice work!
Physics defying!

@Seeras no problemo!
