Blue Sky Airlines Flight 218 is getting ready to head from Yeager Airport to Wright Airport. It is carrying 10 passengers and 3 crew. The pilots are Joesph Dulrikz and Richard Jeffins. Dulrikz is a very experienced pilot who started flying in WW1. The ATC Controller clears Flight 218 for take off. At 10:37Am YST (Yeager Standard Time). The plane is Suppsoed to go on a 10 minute short scenic tour of the island. Right as a the plane makes the first turn after takeoff, the number 4 engine bursts into flames. The pilots try to shut off the engine but it isn't responding. The plane takes a hard lash right, and the cabin begins to fill with screams. The Yeager ATC, many islanders, and a goat farmer notice huge flames coming from the plane. The pilots say they will try to land at Bandit ASAP. However, a plane is almost ready for takeoff, therefore they abort it. They decided to wait for the other plane to takeoff before they land, but however, they realize that the runways are too short, and only Yeager's runways are suitable at the moment. They decide to continue to circle around Krakabloa as the engine still burns. After 115 minutes of excruciating circling, the engine finally comes to rest. The engine had been destroyed, and all that was left was burnt wires and metal. They decided to take a risk, and turn around as they passed over Bandit for the 12th time. They turned around, and everything seemed okay, until they slowed down on approach to Yeager. The plane veered left very rapidly. The pilots couldn't recover, and the plane flat spinned and finally crashed in the fields surrounding Yeager. The planes sides and wings were sheered off, and 8 of the 13 people on board perished. Captain Dulrikz survived, and miraculously had only bruises on his limbs. Passenger Barry Dilmark also survived, sustaining cuts to his legs. Finally, Flight Attendant Joey Bismark survived. A Co-Pilot Jeffins also temporarily survived, but he died in the hospital later that day. The planes maintenance team was sued for "lazy work and poor concentration, leading to the rupture". What had happened was the day before, the engine had been slightly scraped from a bird bone. The team was very slacky, and they barley noticed the incident. As the engines turned on, the heat from the engines escaped through the hole and caused the fire.
The end!
Also, here is the official cockpit voice recording:
Dulrikz: Alright, we are in air.
Jeffins: Ladies and Gentlemen we are going on a 10 minute tour of Krakabloa.
Dulrikz: What is that sound?
Jeffins: I don't know
Dulrikz: I think it's ju-
[Sound of Engine beginning to flame]
Dulrikz: Oh my God! The engine is on fire?
Jeffins: Shut it down!
Dulrikz: it isn't working!
Jeffins: Da! This plane always confuses me on how it works!
ATC: What's happening up there?
Jeffins: The definition of Bad.
Dulrikz: Gah, we will try to land at bandit!
Jeffins: But a plane is taking off. We cannot.
Dulrikz: Gah. The runway is too short!
[2 hours pass by, all there is is casual talk and passenger comforting.]
Dulrikz: Alright, we are almost on touchdown.
Jeffins: Ah, it's going Left!
Dulrikz: What?
Jeffins: Left!
[1 second of footage was never released, due to unsuitable content]
Dulrikz: Flat Spin! Flat Spin!
Jeffins: No! This isn't happening. It cant be!
Dulrikz: Gahhhhhh - *[ The footage ends here as the plane crashes into Yeager airport] *
@InternationalAircraftCompany
The plane stayed in the air for 2 hours after the disaster happened. It continuously circled around Krakabloa while this happened.
Oh, and yeah, there were goats! A farmer who took care of goats saw the plane as it was circling.
If you'd want, I could comment the entire story.
Turn your graphics down to "LOW". Also, depending on what device you use, there is a limit of how many parts certain devices can handle before lagging.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cries Shamefully
[Also thinks about 700+ parts ahead. Yes, it'll lag, but it will work.]
@bloodkiller24560 nope.. There's no such thing.
No when you get really high the air is so thin and you can barely control your plane, but Gravity is always with you.
There is no space in SP, so you can't really make a "Space location". The only way you can somewhat make your own space is flying up high and making it nighttime.
Yeah, there's no need to have to announce it every 5 points collected...
The only place I'd make a post about points is if my rank changed or something...
I've experienced it, so This has happened too.
The Devs added a thing were if you block yourself you can immediately unblock yourself.
@DatsunEngineeringCompany I was saying I didn't want you to tell me.
@DatsunEngineeringCompany Geez, it was a joke.
And I wanted it to be a surprise on what it was, so no need to tell me anyway.
Ferrari!!!
You can't spotlight players that have more points than you.
?
Yes
Why?
It's when your plane turns all Swag.
Ok. Just 4 4s.
@Aircroft_Desigin apparently it happens if you have that underscore in your name. @TimothyWong goneforabit has it happen too.
Heheh.
Nice.
But when I click your username it redirects me to the front page.
@InternationalAircraftCompany yep, 0/100K people read the whole thing.
@General360 yeah it does...
@General360 oh but you should forget about it.
@General360 uh, no. I forgot about the whole experience, but no.
Also why would you claw at my face??
@Jetspeed1001 you know it has happened before.
But I'll admit, I did have a laugh writing it.
Ok, have fun, don't get eaten by bears.
@joeysellers ok then. I hope it never happens either.
@JeffreyD2015 oh
You might have to ask a modder for something like what your saying.
TL;DR: a maintenance failure made a plane crash.

@InternationalAircraftCompany ok, get ready for a big wall of text above ^^
@JeffreyD2015 in the gizmos section of parts.
@JeffreyD2015 oh, all you have to do is get one, and make the strength of fire and set it from 30% to 0%. It won't shoot if it is 10% or under.
Do you mean an detacher that doesnt Fire?
Thanks for posting these, really. I now know what "retaliation" of blocking means. Again, thanks.
Just asking, how long is a ban if you retaliate?

@InternationalAircraftCompany
Yeah, the story was humorous but touching at the same time.
Turn your graphics down to "LOW". Also, depending on what device you use, there is a limit of how many parts certain devices can handle before lagging.
You know, I made a crash story using this plane, haha.
@InternationalAircraftCompany ok
I'm bored too.
I haven't had any notifications in the last 16 hours
@InternationalAircraftCompany you should build more of these types of planes, if you'd like!
:)
I love these types of planes :D

Thx @Insertname
Quick link, just helping people out quickly :)
Nice! Detail is excellent!

Woah...
I... I don't think this is needed here...
@Squirrel
@Seeras
Good idea.
Yeah, there's no need to have to announce it every 5 points collected...
The only place I'd make a post about points is if my rank changed or something...
I think you should try and reattach them manually. Or you could mirror multiple times.
Nice! Don't ask, you know rewards.
