Well, depending on your devices software (iOS 9 for example), age (the older iPad 3s and the newer iPad pros) and storage. If you have a newer device with lots of storage, you could,probably get around 500-650 or so parts like me.
Maybe their just trying to protect your family from criminals?
My parents did a similar thing to what yours are doing before advanced security as added to out neighborhood.

About a year ago I was going to fly to Seattle. So me and my family sit down in the waiting areas. There is this guy, I'm guess about 60 years old, sitting behind me. The whole time we where waiting, the guy was leaning over his chair and watching me play games, watch videos, etc. until finally we got onboard our plane.
@DankDorito try to make it on the level where the other two are, in height. Like, if your red/blue is half the height of your plane, try to make the yellow as close to the height of the other two as possible.
