@ForeverPie that should not affect it's game performance... as soon as I get home I will further look at it and try to pinpoint exactly what is wrong. I was very focused on making this map as lightweight as possible
@ForeverPie hmm... that could be the problem; the ground texture requires more VRAM than usual, but if you have integrated then it should share your RAM with VRAM, and 12GB of ram is (again) better than mine, and I was able to run it with both A380 and the 757 on one of the screenshots
@Jetpackturtle Wait actualy seriously tho; download Linux Mint and flash it onto a bootable USB drive, then plug it into your PC and boot from it, after that you SHOULD be able to access your hard drive, then just take any external HDD or another USB drive and backup all the important stuff, then you can safely reset the PC
@destroyerP it depends heavily on where you live, for example the one you see is a daily visitor of prague, and his path is straight above my house. Also, most of Emirates flights to London and western Europe is also routed through Czech Republic, so I usually see ca. 20 A380s per day
@GermanWarMachine yeah, I plan to remove the planes on the ground, but right now I'm more focused on 3D models. The thing is that I use satellite imagery of the airport, so I'll have to manually photoshop every plane away
@Zandgard that's why the performance is pretty good - it loads itself into RAM and VRAM, both of which are not a very abundant resource on mobile devices :/
@Zandgard I certainly hope so, but I'm afraid that most devices will have problems with it, mainly because this map takes huge advantage of graphics card's video memory...
@kgv23 thank you, but it will be much cooler :D I still have to figure out how to load the ground textures without taking up too much VRAM, that's why the ground is so blurry
@SuborbitalTrajectory @Jetpackturtle The question is "Boeing or Airbus?", so answering it "Embraer" wouldn't make much sense, would it?
@nuclearvodka 757 A380
@SuborbitalTrajectory it IS tilted

@ForeverPie you shouldn't have any problems running it, my PC that I used to develop it is worse than yours - do you use integrated graphics card?
@RailfanEthan HERE, this works like vanilla missiles, when I fire Inferno it fires the enitre missile
@RailfanEthan but... I saw working concepts
@ThePrototype it stands for "first person shooter" no lol jk it's about 30 at 1280x720, but I play it at 640x480 and it's, well, playable
Hmm, the Boeing to Airbus ratio is the same as Freight to passenger ratio...
just a fun fact for you
@Jetpackturtle you can backup only the important stuff; documents, game save files, SP plane designs, etc
@Jetpackturtle but backup your stuff anyway
Damn the "other" option was a bad idea :D

Two words:
LINUX MINT
@nuclearvodka no, and no
@ProKillaV12 well, in theory you could use your phone's gyro to control it
@BLITZERSORKER thank you
@IzzyIA same as on the forums;

@ThePrototype it is Wright Airport actually. I just wanted to show you what happens when you try to run SP on Linux
Nice, I like the flight performance
I like that your reactions are the same as mine when I first started the game
@Oski exactly my reaction
@ForeverPie the file is 18.8 MB
@ForeverPie what are your specs?
@BaconEggs how? :D
@Davisplanez once again; I will try
@ForeverPie I bought the camera just so I can take pictures of overhead traffic
@Dann810 thank you
@destroyerP not really close to an airport, just under it's approach path. At the moment of taking the pic the A380 was about 10.000 feet high

@Jetpackturtle GMT+1 that is
@Jetpackturtle Czech Republic, but I am usually online around 6AM and 8PM
@vonhubert nope, it happens to me as well, I can't figure out why
@FranticMatty
@vonhubert that's weird, thank for noticing, I am now trying to figure out how to prevent it
@nuclearvodka I will do my best
@FlyingManiac is there a problem with the link? or are you using Android? Btw Střední čechy, Vlašim
@ForeverPie also, it SHOULD be in 1:1 scale, so 1:1 planes SHOULD be compatible
@ForeverPie it's a great map for screenshots :)
@Oski well, I plan to make more """"realistic"""" airports, I just wanted to start with Prague because it has a nice layout (and is near me :D)
@GermanWarMachine yeah, I plan to remove the planes on the ground, but right now I'm more focused on 3D models. The thing is that I use satellite imagery of the airport, so I'll have to manually photoshop every plane away

@ForeverPie It's THIS, by TU134
@JMicah4 thank you
@kgv23 thank you, but it will be much cooler :D I still have to figure out how to load the ground textures without taking up too much VRAM, that's why the ground is so blurry
@ForeverPie I will release beta 2 in couple minutes :D
@PorkyClown3 I fixed it, thanks for noticing :)
@nuclearvodka it's on my to-do list
