@Mustang51 that's the problem - the engines themselves are too weak to lift the plane, even with variable pitch. That is why I was confused how can those relatively slow engines maintain the speed even when ascending or cruising in a straight line
@AdlerSteiner hold up there son you have changed the rules didn't you? I don't remember it saying that weapons are required. I am working on an airliner kinda so yeah too bad for me I guess
Just a lil' update; this week gonna be very busy because I am moving to a different house, so expect the work to be resumed either on Wednesday or the weekend
@EternalDarkness if you look closely, there's another one parked in the hangar. It is a static prop though. I tried adding it as an AI, but even when stationary the game would do physics/lift calculations for it, consuming the precious FPS
@Oski are you talking about the satellites? I can add them separately anywhere, but yeah, I can swap the airport from Wright to Avalanche fairly quickly
@Oski I have actually placed a huge antenna on top of the flat-ish mountain, but it dipped the framerate from around 150 to 140, which is a lot, considering that it was a small detail compared to the scale of the map
@communisticbanana idk I'm not sure that republics have airfields in foreign lands, but I can make a terminal or something connected to the international airport that will be on the map, maybe if you have some airline or something idk
@Oski funny enough, that was exactly what I was about to do. Yes, I have the basic layout, >check it out<, I have noticed that many Polish/Czech air force bases have many reverse-U-shaped hangars so I have used that. Also, the base is in between two mountains, to elaborate on the fact that it is a military base with restricted airspace :)
@BACconcordepilot the track might not look like you imagine it, because I want to save as much performance as possible :D but I can steal some assets from SkyPark city
@Oski aaalso, do you want the SAM launchers be functional? like the ones near the ice base? I can also add anti-missile laser turrets and stationary AA tanks, if you want

@ThePilotDude I think the turrets can be set so they only attack if you provoke them, if that is what you mean

@chancey21 well ok I did not try making a level/challenge, but I believe it will require more work in Visual Studio than in Unity. This tutorial from Jundroo should help you (if you haven't seen it already)
