@TheLegend69 I just noticed that you wanted x3 afterburner thrust, while this has only about x2, hopefully its not an issue, if it is I can make an unlisted x3 version and tag you
@1984 alright, this is getting weird. I really hope that your pictures are real, especially the dragonfly one, as that may actually be some secret plane doing test flights. Please keep me updated if you manage to recover the old photos or make any new ones!
@1984 also, can you explain it a bit more? So you live somewhere, where it is a normal event to see planes like that?
Have you researched it? Would you mind sharing a rough location, or at least the closest airport?
@1984 actually, that resembles the plane A LOT. Except the wing. I'd dare to guess that they are similar models. do you have any more info about that photo? When/where it was taken?
@BACconcordepilot it looks a bit similar, yeah. But the plane I saw was definitely powered by props, first off, I heard the sound, and in my opinion it was going too slow to be jet-powered
@DisferGoatz the Kawasaki C-2 kinda resembles it... but it does not have props, and I'd totally notice the bulged-out gear compartments. I know how to spot planes like that, as there are literally tens of C-17s zooming around weekly
@DisferGoatz I am looking as well, but it got me more venturing into the drone territory, I've learned that there are hundreds of one-off, experimental drones that look weird. Also, maybe a coincidence, but recently the czech government signed a contract with the US to allow their drones into our airspace, so maybee...
@DisferGoatz obviously, I did not see the cockpit :D but the plane was plain white, with maybe the engines a bit darker. check the image again, refresh the page, I forgot about the imgur fiasco
@Countache27 Well, they should teach you everything you need to know at your airfield/school or wherever you're studying. But in my opinion the main thing is to stay calm. Even if everything in the airplane fails, you can still safely land pretty much anywhere. Especially with ULs and gliders. I've heard about a guy who failed to pilot his glider and entered a downstream of wind which made him lose too much altitude to get to the airfield, so he just landed on the treetops of a nearby forest. He has supposedly climbed down by himself and the glider was rescued by a medical helicopter.
@FastDan I just came to not like the idea itself. I know it sounds dumb and conservative, and that getting killed by a car is just a modern human version of being killed by a bear couple millions years ago.
But my whole life every driver I knew was telling me how easy it is to drive etc, but now that I myself am a driver there's always large pressure on me.
I can be driving through a city (50kph speed limit), and suddenly a guy gets on my tail, and keeps going closer to me even when I'm already going 50. I know people say "ignore him", but how am I supposed to do that, when there's already little to no separation between us. I'm just forced to speed up to create a gap so that we won't bump into each other in case I'm forced to stop on an intersection.
I'd rather go by a bus because I know that if sh-- hits the fan then I'm much safer, and if I have the chance I'll take a train over anything else because I know that trains are coordinated by people who know what they're doing, and in case of a crash it is basically like sitting in a tank.
What have you done to my nation...
this is great, I love how it can do super tight loops
@TheLegend69 I just noticed that you wanted x3 afterburner thrust, while this has only about x2, hopefully its not an issue, if it is I can make an unlisted x3 version and tag you
@TCLY I can expand it however you want :) Just tag me when it is finished and we'll talk about the size and position
@DepressedTortoise sure what kind of hand
@DepressedTortoise how were you so fast and what the hell
@Tencents49 not exactly what you asked for, but can be used for JATO
@Tencents49 are you sure about the 50lbf thrust? Because that is the equivalent of a large RC drone
@Tencents49 jeez man I rarely hit 20 parts :D I'm more focused at the functionality
Its from Gestours automaton mod
Also, I suggest you disabling drag calculations to every single part, to save frames
@XxLukeRZxX I wanted to do that, but it seemed too meta lol
@pilotred233 @BaconEggs it could easily be turned into a map addon and scaled up, thanks to the 3d print export feature
It's about time, yeah
lemme correct you there;
You would appreciate a wild fire mod
Please, can you describe how a wild fire would help a game about constructing incomplex flying machines heavier than air?
SimplePlanes, anyone?
but... what would they do? I'm sure we can make them in vanilla, just a propeller on a stick
it is weird
i like
@Mkle read this comment mate
or an alternative, eh?
@RailfanEthan I've looked into the source, he just put in the file name, with no link whatsoever.
Try again, pal

@1984 could you share more pictures?
@DisferGoatz idk if you're still interested, be we've found a similar plane with @1984
@1984 actually, that resembles the plane A LOT. Except the wing. I'd dare to guess that they are similar models. do you have any more info about that photo? When/where it was taken?
@1984 oh, if you could find that, I'd be very glad
@PancakeAddiction nah I'm using a laptop. Try removing the "s" from the "https" from the links. There's a problem with imgur
@BACconcordepilot it looks a bit similar, yeah. But the plane I saw was definitely powered by props, first off, I heard the sound, and in my opinion it was going too slow to be jet-powered

@Oski actually, the plane I saw might have been flying towards Poland, so if you notice anything like that sitting on some Polish airport, let me know
@Oski ye
@Oski I think that the UN owns some Mi-26s. But I think we all could agree that seeing a sole Tu-95 cruising over Europe would be rather unsettling...
@DisferGoatz actually, I think it was high-winged, as I think I could see a shadow of the fuselage under one of the wings
I do not think it is possible, as the pylon accepts an activation group (number), and FireWeapon is an input (text)
@DisferGoatz I am looking as well, but it got me more venturing into the drone territory, I've learned that there are hundreds of one-off, experimental drones that look weird. @DisferGoatz that's exactly what I thought, and I'll be honest, for a fraction of a second I thought that WWIII has started
@DisferGoatz obviously, I did not see the cockpit :D but the plane was plain white, with maybe the engines a bit darker. check the image again, refresh the page, I forgot about the imgur fiasco
oh god when I clicked the link I was almost sure it will be a rick roll
also first I guess hm
new guy misrakes
@Simpleplaner656 good for you I guess

@DPSAircraftManufacturer 767 mph at the sea level tu bee completly exact
@Jacobdaniel yus

@AdlerSteiner I think he meant that one person in two million dies in a plane crash, not one million out of two million lol
@StarKnight697 for Canada's sake I hope so
@CursedFlames only four.
oh no I overshot
