My nation is vapu, a powerful nation that has excelled in diplomacy and combat. It was originally a small handful of colonies in teronian system. At first only two planets in the system were colonizable but as decades passed the colonies lost all contact with earth and was forced to be self sustaining. All this happened between the years 2650-2700. At this point self aware computers had been limited due to fears of a robot taking over the world. The provisional government decided that removing this limit would allow for a rapid expansion in tech, and they were right. By the end of the year 3000, humanity broke the light barrier. After that jump drives got smaller and smaller but this reign of knowledge didn't last long. A unknown alien race began investigating the system and came in contact with humans for the first time. At first the two nations seemed to be at liking with each other, until a computer droid angered the aliens with lies. He divulged plans of the humans taking advantage of them. And so the vagu war began. On September 13, 3145 a exchange of epic weapon fire began. Fleets were numerous in ships and fighters both sides suffered, but the alien race now called ghath surrendered first. It was a major step for the humans. The planets now had a advanced fleet at its command but we were back to having limited computers. Luckily in just two more years after the war humans had the technology to efficiently link multiple minds together to achieve higher levels of thinking and problem solving. infants were now able to have the knowledge of a college grad and were later filled with more knowledge. History was limited to just the important details and recent events while science and math fully exploited. Until we had another break through... As suggested, computers were 5 million times as powerful as they are today making them capable of simulating astroid trajectories and galaxy collisions with high accuracy. Using this technology we are finally able to make the mind become one with the computer. A regular computer needs programming. the mind is creative but limited in power. Mixing the two makes it possible for one human not having to link minds with another to go outside our normal limit. During this time vapu has made ties with other nations in trade and combat. All of this completely real. ;) vapu has since been waiting for the chance to again meet other humans and other alien races. If any nation isn't kind to vapu the humans will be an enemy to them.
