@Leehopard detached is better at accuracy and simplicity but you cant use custom projectiles.. and no reloading animation or JUST MAYBE cases of bullet.. simply.. it's a more realistic gun.. and more ammo.. and detached gun is simply a simple gun.. does the job done.. also your gun is good but lacks a custom shell and ammunition and barrel isnt round.. guess it is for experimental reasons not gonna blame you..

@Minecraftpoweer setting damage to 0 seems to simply ignore the planes and just goes through.. but if it doesnt do so then yeah setting it to 0 is good
