I wanted it to be “real”, but it really isn’t possible for a ship of this size. It weighs less than it’s real life counterpart and even then it can barely reach 9mph with just the propellers. The rudder however is real, and there aren’t any VTOL engines, just jets.
@CDRxavier
The propulsion’s a bit of a cheat, the propellers at the back are only there for asthetics. The main driving force are a series of jets hidden in the hull. The propellers just cannot proviod sufficient power to get this ship up to speed.
@CDRxavier
I forgot to add, I built this in two halves. That’s why it has so many parts. There’s not way I could’ve made it to 2000 if I had built it all on the one build. If you look closely you’ll see where it is.
@F4f879
I think that while a certain aspect may be true to this correlation, there is much more to it. Many builds with many likes are based upon the stock designer. Those builds happen to be made by generally skilled builders, some of which know the game quite well and know about custom designers. Hence one could deduce that creations with a custom designer get more likes not because they attention seeking, but because they have been made by builders with some reasonable aspect of knowledge to apply a custom designer in the first place.
Sure there are exceptions to this, but I believe this to be the case.
You must have messed with the prop, cause the twin prop plane have their props on auto, which means that the prop would automatically pitch according to speed ect.
@Carsong1017
As the previous comments have mentioned, that feature has been there for a fair while now, if your props are held at excess rpm they will blow up. Generally, you’ll only see this when you set manual prop pitch.
I used to build cockpits first, but then things kept breaking as I was building around it, so I build them last now. Much more flush too.
@CursedFlames
Well, if I can put all my builds up onto a forum post, I haven’t really built much then XD. In all seriousness, hopefully my next build or two will be able to push me to Platinum.
@Datom
It’s quite nice for a cockpit build, if you really want to see accuracy though you should check out a couple of MisterT’s teasers on his spitfire. His is far more accurate and well made than mine. As for cockpits, leave them till last. Too many things can break and it’ll take you more time to repair them all then to actually put them in. Use the custom fusalage no. inputs to make pieces smaller and more detailed. Just watch the canopy clipping into the fusalage when it’s open, it detracts from the look of the plane. @Datom
When I first played this game, I originally thought that fusalage blocks were just static large cylinders, hence not using them for anything I was building. It was only when I downloaded a couple planes did I realise that fusalage blocks were so darn useful.
Thank you. I didn’t know that the shortened version of Japanese was racist, but considering we’re I’m from I doubt others would know too. But just a question of interest, wouldn’t that make the 3 lettered version of Japan used in sports obscene? @Strikefighter04
It allows one to make artificial horizons, so that’s a thumbs up in my books.

@CDRxavier
I like how you did the concave modelling on the fusalage, SP really struggles on that front. Looks overall very nice!
Thank you, glad you like this build.

@CDRxavier
Thank you, but your planes look fine. They have their own style, which is good. We only get better after trying and practising new things. @getorge
Well, good thing I picked a destroyer, was gonna do an Aircraft Carrier at one stage XD
@destroyerP
iPad Air 2, but I split the ship in half when I was building it. There’s no way I could’ve built this all at once. @destroyerP
The USS Tiny 2 Fleet consist of two Fletcher class destroyers, so yeah, you’re not far off.
@ColonelStriker

@F4f879
Haha, Fletcher Vs Fletcher
@Mijmaj
Far too much, crashes nearly every time I want to save. Takes minutes to load in and lags on low.
@F4f879
Don’t know, even I had a hard time believing it
XD
@F4f879
I lost every time, but it was 2 against one
@iLikeipads
You probably have it on low physics, set it to high and it’ll probably work
@smaug
Thank you, hopefully I can get some decent pictures for those who cannot download this ship.
@F4f879
Thank you
@TheOwlAce
Indeed, but it’s unfortunate that the limiting factor to this build wasn’t my skill, but the performance of the device.
@50Airworks
Thank you, very different from my previous builds.
@TheGuyYouMightKnow
Well, it is a replica. No need for creativity XD
@EternalDarkness
Thank you
@MEERKAT978
Thanks
@Audiobotguy03
@BogdanX
@Carsong1017
Hope to see you back soon! Don’t let it get to ya!

??
Haha, definitely a correlation. The tutorial is a slight bit outdated.
+1@TheGuyYouMightKnow
I tested a heavy pitch down with the stock twin prop plane from a height of 30000ft, no warning what so ever.

There’s no real secret, the only way is to learn. Just take a look at builds you like and dissect them for techniques ect.

+2@CursedFlames
As Gestour said, there’s no limit
Looks really nice right now, my only concern is the shape of the nose, it seems a bit fat. Other then that, keep up the good work!
+1Well, if I can put all my builds up onto a forum post, I haven’t really built much then XD. In all seriousness, hopefully my next build or two will be able to push me to Platinum.
@Datom
The zero build is most likely my poorest build, so I just put them in the background. From a distance they look fine though lol
@Datom
Piano man also has some piston packs ect.
@Datom
Here’s a couple links

@Datom
Don’t worry, I can link you to a couple useful parts if you need

+1Very very nice, cannot wait for this plane!
1, 2/3 really depends on the plane (like propeller or jet ect.) 4, 5
Congratulations, Im sure that there will be more success along the way
Rip, they use JPN @Strikefighter04
Thank you. I didn’t know that the shortened version of Japanese was racist, but considering we’re I’m from I doubt others would know too. But just a question of interest, wouldn’t that make the 3 lettered version of Japan used in sports obscene? @Strikefighter04
Without your support, my builds would still look like how they were a year ago
@EpicPigster1
Happy Birthday to you too!
@destroyerP
Cheers man, seems as if we joined exactly a year apart.
@EternalDarkness
Thank you, those screenshots took a while XD
