This is probably the most professional leaving/hiatus post I've seen in a long time.
Well written, and actually garners my sympathy. Good luck out there, presumed human.
That's the key word, isn't it?
Admit it: This game is boring as hell. The only thing that keeps it from getting old almost instantly is the human factor. A sandbox this open (and empty of features) can only be sustained by player content and interaction. Without SP.com SP is nothing. Just a game you get, play a couple times, and then forget about forever when you've done everything. Why improve if there's nobody to share your progress with?
@ollielebanania Did the entirety of what I wrote go over your head?
Seriously?
Would you still play SP if it had no website? If there was no sharing? Because that is, whatever you may or may not claim to the contrary, what you just proposed. The whole reason this site exists is to share one's efforts with others.
Mouse, that's what an aircraft carrier is. Unless you mean a support carrier, which more supports other carriers in logistics rather than fights ("fights") directly. Or, at least, I believe that's what a support carrier does? Supply over sorties?
Anyways, it's not that it's simple so much as just the shape (though it could use more patterns imo, maybe rectangles for elevators or lines designating working areas?). The angled flight deck being longer than the bow deck (and being so wide on one side) is incredibly ugly. Real carriers don't tend to look like that. The rear could maybe also benefit from a slight extension or clipped corners, just to break things up a bit. That's just my two cents, though.
Mouse I am going to be completely blunt, that is probably one of the ugliest flight decks I've ever seen.
Still, interesting. Share to care some stats?
@Boeing727200F Visiting Earth. First time.
North American doesn't even exist anymore, let alone have something capable of breaking into the flight computer. Autopilot impact avoidance would make trying to grab the aircraft virtually impossible, I'm afraid.

1: I was carried in the jar
2: Same as 1
3: I can't fly in a jar, this thing's on autopilot. Basically the throttle got cranked and the safety systems kicked in. Canopy went down, gear went up, it's now supersonic.
Help.
@126 I don't even know who made this!
Doesn't look like a Soian design, far too small. Soviet, maybe?
Perhaps this is that "Apollyon" ship I'd heard about...
@TheMouse No, but then you're entering a different classification entirely.
The Blunderbuss is the largest hand portable firearm, with a half kilogram of pure Fuck You blasted out in a glorious flaunting of lead and flame.

+1@ollielebanania
And I doubt that's the majority opinion. Fact is, people are social and like the approval of their peers. It's just how things are.
What do you mean by this?
+1What a coincidence.
+1@HudDistance That sounds like an interesting existence...
+1How far is Half Life 3?
