Actually fairly realistic. I wish the dynamics in SP made it easier to land VTOL aircraft, but this one is fairly fun to wrestle with when attempting vertical landings. VTOL take offs and transition to forward flught is very easy, though.
So...what is wrong about having a strongly positive opinion of another builder on the site and why would anyone give someone flak over expressing his or her opinion?
Yup, rudder is pretty much useless in the air in this game, only useful for nosewheel steering and directional control on takeoff/landing, @AughtFour, not to mention the fact you can't attach ANYTHING to a control surface...
I like it! How much weight does the "paint" add? I'm hesitant to do any sort of camo paint due to weight considerations, even the modern haze grey schemes.
Knowing how to produce gun smoke would be cool, but what I'm really curious about is how you managed the shape of the intake (concave curve at the top), as well as the technique you used to build the fuselage sides (concave as well).
Nice, sleek interpretation of the Flounder, but it would get a lot more attention if is you put PLAAF insignia on it. If you don't have any, you can get them from this build: J-8, but be sure to credit @LBYSteven if you use them! Also, I would have used a light blue instead of straight grey as the dark grey colors just wash out against a black background.
How well do the ejector racks work? Do the missiles miss the sides of the jet? I ask as a I haven't had the opportunity to download this to my home PC or iPhone yet.
@MechWARRIOR57 here you go: Planes of Old New Trusty Tool Box there are lots of useful parts and subassemblies in the toolbox, plus the unbreakable wings you're looking for. Download the toolbox and save the parts as subassemblies so you can use them.
I used these exact ones here: XB-70. I also used them on my C-47 and Waco Glider. I get very good results with these exact markings, even though you have to nudge and work them to get them in place.
Not sure what car you should make, however as far as what you should do to improve, may I suggest using markings? There are a bunch out there under the "Parts" tag which I use. Also, are you using fine tuner mod? I just started and it makes a world of difference in getting shapes to look just right.
Actually, the F-100 was armed with four 20mm Pontiac M39A1 revolver cannons (single barrel with rotating chamber), they're tucked up on the bottom of the fuse beneath the intake and cockpit, so they are hard to see; if you try and replicate the armament, you'll probably have to XML mod the bullet spread to "0" to prevent blowing the nose off the airplane. This is a nice, simple, build, I like it!
@503rdAirborneSoldier yes, it does except when you're trying to build a replica with guns tucked into the sides of the fuse (A-4, F-100, F-105, Crusader, G.91, just to name a few).
Nice, gotta build my B-25 at some time. The cheek guns blasting the nose off comes from the bullet "spread" that was introduced with 1.5...I guess the Devs thought it was too hard to hit a maneuvering aircraft using guns (it WAS pretty tough). Perhaps they'll revert this fix in 1.6. In any event, if you get into XML modding, you can set the spread="0" for the guns and they won't do it. I'm pretty new to XML modding myself, so I can't promise that setting the spread to zero won't introduce some other funkiness, but it's worth a try...

Very nice!
I just want to pinch it's chubby little cheeks! Wait, it got weird there for a minute, didn't it...?
Love the detailing on this one!
Correct shape - Check! Custom landing gear - Check! Custom engine - Check!
Wheel wells - Check!
Convincing camo - Check!
Correct armament - Check!
Scoops and details - Check!
Amazed - Check!
Nice build!
@ElHoncho yeah, I'm too old as well, but have to try and sound like the cool kids!
Cool!

First Upvote!
New Austro-Hungarian Empire and Bavaria
Nice!
Beautiful!

This is great, but it REALLY needs a short description to be noticed.
Sorry, your TWO Tempest/Typhoon builds. I thought you had a second Tempest somewhere...
I think this one is the best of your three Tempest/Typhoon builds.
Nice!
@BogdanX one of mine, an A-4
@BogdanX can I ask you to take a look at my latest build to see if you can tweak it to eliminate a little residual roll it has?
Wow, very innovative!
@AughtFour ok, got it.
Very nice!
BTW, how did you squash the cockpit block to get the angled windscreen?
Nice work, nice gear!

What is this? Some sort of naval bombardment dreadnought? I like how you did the flags, as well.
@Sunnyskies Fine Tuner Mod! If you get the proportions right, you can just make it bigger...that should work, right?
You ought to sweep the wings and get rid of 4 engines on this bad boy and make it a B-52!
Gunship?...go with two!

@MechWARRIOR57 do you mean a post to the unbreakable wings?

Put them down, then use nudge to fix them where they go just above the surface in question...they work.
By markings, I mean insignia.
Here, look at this: USAF Insignia

@Booster456 that's what I thought, what about the first fight though?
So...any details?

It may be fictional, but it looks like an Italian F-14!
