@BaconEggs Hmm... I don't know where to find it, I'm guessing it would be the developers project and scene files from Unity, with each island being it's own scene... but really I'm just guessing; that's probably a question for the dev's to field. Good Luck!
@xXxMLGDOGE603xXx @PilotOfFuture Android version up for testing, be forewarned you spawn under upon initial start often times. Explode and respawn above, or restart often works.
@BaconEggs Hiya, I responded to your other inquiry, but what exactly do you mean by default map scene? (I'm learning as well!) If you want to position runways and such you can align them with the inspector, and if you want them to move with your terrain, just place as a "child" of that terrain
@BaconEggs Heya, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by default map scene, but I use the inspector tab when highlighting an object, and then you can set position, and determine rotation and such. Let me know if this was too vague!
@Thomas243 Hiya, I'm tinkering with a bit of it still, you should be able to just use a floating plane to navigate out. (The sides are still open at the edge.)
@NathanMikeska Thank you, that is an excellent suggestion! On a related note, I tried to use Unity v5.3.6f1 to build these, but it always failed the initial compiler within less than minute, with a red "player Win (5); not available in this version of Unity." or some such. I've since reverted to 5.1.4f1 and am having good success. Odd, since lots of other folks are having good responses with 5.3.6. Anyway, I figured I should mention it. If you need the exact error text verbatim or a copy of the error log, just let me know.
@Tully2001 I tried that too, but the "hard" settings will pull it back. It is on the bottom part of the Settings (Gear) tab. I think the defaults are W: 500, L: 500, and H: 300; to help you find it. (I'm pretty sure these are in meters)
@Tully2001 It took me awhile to find it too, I was getting frustrated trying to match the terrain on the edges, and ended up just scaling! You can find it in Terrain in the Inspector, under the Gear thingy (it's fun to manipulate the height scale as well, and is how I "tamed down" some of my earlier builds.)
@NathanMikeska Danke! The start location is a bit hard to set in the mod tools, it is mostly the perspective that throws me off. I think it is mostly growing pains of learning Unity. Is there a way to query any coordinate on the terrain, or a place where the coordinates display?
Thank you for your interest and assistance!
@saturn28 Thank you for the compliment! I'm still just figuring this stuff out! I'm trying to pay-forward all the encouragement I've received with these maps. From trying to get 30 points a week ago (Which I thought was how many you needed to post a mod.), to learning Unity crash course style, to having nothing work build-wise, to getting to silver suddenly is pretty wonderous! I'm very thankful!
@saturn28 Thank you! It is a result of a lot of learning/tweaking and could use a lot more... But now that I have the algorithm down, the maps should look better! And then I can use my time on the fine details...
@saturn28 It's not a large of piece as it could be, but it's posted! Thank you for the kind words, I really like the landscape sculpting aspect and it's fun to share! Let me know if there is something you would like to see! :D
@saturn28 Danke! I'm was wondering if folks would notice or not with it hiding, it's kind of a fun experiment. I should be releasing the Grand Canyon (a piece) later today. Have fun building!
Yeah, it was a week of learning to use Unity before I could finish some of my initial projects! I think I bit off more than I could chew! I made the larger one 7.2kx7.2k and submerged a bit of it. It is still chugging along...
@ian8811946 It says building player "Win"(5) is incompatible with this version of unity. -(In red) And almost immediately it says something about an obsolete file path.
@saturn28 Thank you very much!

@saturn28 Thank you very much, and let me know if you have track suggestions!
@PilotOfFuture Oh, No! I'll knock out a smaller version later, I would really like Android folks feedback on track setup.
@BaconEggs Ah, Ok. Yeah, you would have to get the build file.
@PilotOfFuture @TnTDestroyer That's the plan! Hopefully!
@xXxMLGDOGE603xXx @PilotOfFuture Android version up for testing, be forewarned you spawn under upon initial start often times. Explode and respawn above, or restart often works.
@PilotOfFuture I do have a copy of this ready for Android, though...
@PilotOfFuture Heya, I've just posted it up, but not on android, I will get that going..
How was the Mountain Autumn test map for android? @PilotOfFuture
@PilotOfFuture Should I just look then at kb size or total height?
@PilotOfFuture I can make it any size, though I based it off of 4.2km x 4.2km.
@PilotOfFuture Is it too tall then? I think it is only 2.5km x 2.5 km x 600 m
I have the Groom Lake area already mapped. What size should I be using for android? @PilotOfFuture
@PilotOfFuture @xXxMLGDOGE603xXx Why will it never run on android?
Flying Chassis Aqua - feel free to customize as you see fit! (During water take-off, use a bit of VTOL at 120knts!)

@MrMecha Danke, danke! I also think it would be great fun for multiplayer, guns only, ground vs. air!
Really all the thanks goes to @Mod, I was just having a bit o'fun, but thankee!
@PilotOfFuture Awesome, Thank you! You should make it public!
I'll put it in the presses next ;D @JetFighter @PilotOfFuture @AwesomeDesign717 @BirdOfSteel @FireNut58
@NathanMikeska Right on, I will check it out. Thank you for your help!
@Thomas243 Hiya, I'm tinkering with a bit of it still, you should be able to just use a floating plane to navigate out. (The sides are still open at the edge.)
It's pretty fun to land! Excellent aircraft design! The chassis is credited to @davet3, but they work great as a chimera!
@NathanMikeska Thank you, that is an excellent suggestion! @saturn28 Thank you!
@PilotOfFuture I will, it needs a bit more work, but perhaps this eve.

@BaconEggs Roger that!
@PilotOfFuture De Nada!
@BaconEggs Not yet, but I can add them, I've been using my buggy or a choppa/VTOL for testing. Where would you like em?
@aircraftarsenal123 Thank you, don't worry it still has a lot of room to grow!
@saturn28 Thank you for the compliment! I'm still just figuring this stuff out! I'm trying to pay-forward all the encouragement I've received with these maps. @though That's my plane/car/boat thingy. ("Flying chassis aqua" is the listed name) The off-road chassis is credited to @davet3 .

There is also a desert flavor:
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/9F56f7/Desert-Flying-Chassis-Amphi
You have to drive carefully, and I've since adjusted the front float to explode less!
@saturn28 Ain't that the truth!
@SkullsAndCrossbones
Ok, Mr. Grumpy Pants, here you go: ( ;D) Enjoy! Android for you!
@saturn28 Thank you! It is a result of a lot of learning/tweaking and could use a lot more... But now that I have the algorithm down, the maps should look better! And then I can use my time on the fine details...
@Smasher I agree, but there are bushes along the river, I just let them go too high! And the lower rock strata is much more red!
@aircraftarsenal123 Could you get a placeholder account? I'm sure you could sign up!
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Danke!
@saturn28 It's not a large of piece as it could be, but it's posted! Thank you for the kind words, I really like the landscape sculpting aspect and it's fun to share! Let me know if there is something you would like to see! :D

@FlipposMC @Mod I've gotten it to work if you first convert anything to a RAW file first and import with Unity's built in tool.
Here's Mount St. Helens! https://www.simpleplanes.com/Mods/View/506562/Aspiring-Map
Now I can also sketch on a piece of paper and upload later on!
Hooray! (And finally back to sculpting landscapes!)
@Mod Welp, I reinstalled 5.1.4f in a different directory, and the map creation went fine! I wonder why I had no luck with 5.3.6?
Yeah, it was a week of learning to use Unity before I could finish some of my initial projects! I think I bit off more than I could chew! I made the larger one 7.2kx7.2k and submerged a bit of it. It is still chugging along...
@Cadillace Yeah, I hear you, originally I was using woodland tones, and had a much larger build planned. It may turn into Autumn Mountain after all!
@ian8811946 It says building player "Win"(5) is incompatible with this version of unity. -(In red) And almost immediately it says something about an obsolete file path.
