@EternalDarkness Certainly! I was also trying to make the terrain a bit more "rugged" without having it too faceted, and running at a decent rate. Minimal elegant builds are quite challenging!
Feel free to link any builds you design with this theatre in mind!
@Joco80 Make sure you have the Auto box UNchecked in the lighting tab, if you haven't already. This will dramatically decrease build time. My smaller maps are done compiling before I can swap the file from my Mod Foundry -> Mod Folder when I unselected the box.
Be aware that if the terrain is too physically large, it can stall the build if you don't have enough RAM for the rendering. If my bar doesn't progress for 10 min, I usually abort the build and try again.
Also, if you get to an odd place, or if the blue doesn't show up for the brushes, or if the brushes won't switch properly; just save the scene and project and select "Open project", and reopen the build. It will force unity to refresh, and quit misbehaving when it does.
@Testin123 Make no mistake, Joco80 has been pretty tenacious in recruiting upvotes! Modded parts are also much easier to make than map, and usually net more upvotes. So if you want points, in the least amount of time... (Until this strategy is saturated or builds become mega-redundant) (FWIW!) The points are there if you want them!
I don't care about the total so much myself, but I do use the upvotes to determine what sort of maps I release into the ModShop. Plus, I just love to play with different topography, so many maps I make just for my personal enjoyment, and then pass them forward. I'll end up spending the time regardless; it's just nice to share! :D
@Joco80 Go under the gear icon (in the inspector when you have the terrain selected). Scroll down and you can adjust LxWxH, (FWIW: the units are meters, so make the appropriate adjustments if using the English Standard system of measurement.)
@JSwannyGaming148 Oh, no, Bummer! Sometimes you can spin it up as an external, once you get your new system up and running; and salvage some files. Good Luck!
@EliteIndustries1 Well, I do need to smooth the terrain itself, since it is too polygonal. But as far as the giant shapes; they are in fact quite intentional and may be much more difficult to find in a subsequent map! :D
You can fly inside! (Theoretically; I'll edit this when I have!) :D
@EliteIndustries1 So you can fly in the 150 ft between it and the water, silly! :D
Also that bit of terrain is a proof-of-concept. If you can find the way inside, maybe you can fly among a few stalactites!... I was also working on waterfalls! xP
@GINGER01 I can add it; I was originally going to put this under a shield dome on the Hoth Map and have SW vs. SP: Islands Edition! :D
@Visify Sure thing!
@Visify Aw, gosh, Thanks! :D
@KDS Though, I can't get the AI to make it walk properly...
@KDS Oh, I can put one in!
@Leonelarminrocks7 @septicfoot @AudioDud3
Android up!
@Testin123 @Smasher @Joco80
Android up!
@saturn28 Thank you for the kind words! :D
@EternalDarkness I feel that! That is probably the same reason I work on so many different builds at the same time!

@jamesPLANESii :D Now I need more PC power to play with the full forest!
@Pianoman Nice Bike!
Just a lil" squirrley!
@AudioDud3 The source code file on this is the earlier version; do they both crash upon loading? Thanks!
@JSwannyGaming148 Bummer! Such is the final fate of spinning hard-drives...
@NativeChief1492 :D Workie Fine?
@EternalDarkness Fair enough, I like it all! Maybe this might be more up your alley...
Fruition - Death Comes Knockin'
This is an unplugged version, but they tear it up live!
@EternalDarkness You won't regret it! :D
@saturn28 :D
@Smasher Right on, I'll check it out!
@TurklerRS :D
@Smasher No problem!
@Testin123 Ancient dashy line secret! No just 3 underscores like @Joco80 pointed out. :D
@EternalDarkness I hear that, I just want them to be relevant! :)
Like this amazing show:
(The M.C. is a little excited for the intro, but what an amazing show with such diverse styles throughout!)
Enjoy!
@Testin123 Well then, don't experiment with this!
Lichenburg Figures in Wood
@Testin123 It's really not bad at all, and the developer tools make the first time map building very simple.
@Testin123
Unity 5.3.6f1 is the version folks use
Here is Sir Phillip's Vid

@Testin123 Certainly! And there are lots more ideas that have yet to be built!
@Testin123 So I suppose to come full circle on the clarification; being a very involved Modder has it's perks.
@Joco80 Mostly my point is, if you put a lot of effort, time, and attention into something; you will progress quickly!
@Joco80 Whatcha mean? Tenacious? It's one of my favorite attributes!
Some of the most powerful forces I have found in this world are Curiosity, Diligence, and Tenacity! :D
@Joco80 NP!
@Joco80 Congrats!

@EternalDarkness Ha! Sorry about that, I tend to imprint data; and it's always harder to change once it's in there!
I'll make sure I notify you for relevant stuff in the future!

@Lizarddragon I cannot test, as I don't have android, but I could compile it again.
@Joco80 Roger that, NP.
@Joco80 The super items file will not open correctly in Unity! Perhaps re-upload?

@AudioDud3 @saturn28 @Smasher
Android Up!
@Joco80 Here's your android!
@Mellons @NativeChief1492 @Lizarddragon Android up!
@septicfoot Only a 'lil bit, mostly setting up a course and moving/scaling islands and such!
@JSwannyGaming148 Oh, no, Bummer! Sometimes you can spin it up as an external, once you get your new system up and running; and salvage some files. Good Luck!
@Ctracerx2 :D I would like to learn MicroPython as well, for playing with the ESP8266's; Big Fun!
@JSwannyGaming148 Which part is messed up? You shouldn't have to redo everything...
Landed on water, took off again! Nice build! (The wheels do still poke out a bit upon raising BTW.)
