If you set pitch on"auto". the RPM of the engine will usually be higher than the point of fuel-efficiency and therefore do not produce as much power as a manual-pitched one do. It is also important to know that once the angle of a blade reaches more than 45, there will be a lot of side-"wind" issue and also will lower the engine's efficiency. Piston engines, on the other hand, is fine until 75. Optimum should be 30*for minimized "side-wind" and pull.
It is the same thing, isn't it
Well My thought are this:
Increase the pitch of the engine to ±30, MAX OUT EVERYTHING (diameter, thickness, blade numbers), and max out the power of the engine. It will be such a punch I assure you.
that makes a lot of sense. I actually have some thoughts on improving this, but that is huge task and will probably not upload it soon.@Monsterbash9000
@RailfanEthan I thought you would make the Union Pacific, man!
Especially the X3895, only if I remembered right.
And the 6696? I seriously forgot I went to their website like a year ago. sry...
@RailfanEthan I cannot even download this because the number of parts exceeded the download limit which is 800. Really?
I appreciate your efforts. But can you, say, upload a cockpit-detached version? (cockpit not on the train and system will only count the cockpit, so it is always one part, and your train is unattached and not counted. We can attach the cockpit later). I mean, for a rail fan like me(although I said nothing), I want to have these downloaded and have fun with.
It is awsome. Maybe not as detailed as other builds, but WHO CARES ABOUT THEOSE?@RailfanEthan come on you made a great one.
What does the stick that moved with throttle do? I mean, you have brake and stuff, and this.....?
@Aspire One shot?
Well I like the fact that it is the same exact diameter.
One thing. Do you think the engine is too powerful? I have issues with tumbling when turning because it is WAY too fast
@LASkey Does this thing have a working track? On one hand I want it to be a working one because it would be much cooler and realistic and with it horrible lag.
Can you make a post of a cockpit-detached version? Thanks.
The island that houses all these are at the opposite end of WRIGHT AIRPORT. Go to "Wright Airport", taxi to the other end of the runway (with the hangar), turn around, and fly at roughly the 10-o-clock direction. FOR A LONG TIME. Well depends on your plane but I did it in a 3,500 mph modded plane in 2 minute. It should be somewhere close to that direction, and is relatively easy to find. Once you find the island, fly as low as you can, and as soon as you were noted that you found a hidden area, exit and enter using a ground vehicle. Go around the island to discover ALL 4 places (Golden Grand Prix is a race track so you need to physically go over it in a car, and they handle easier.)
Downloaded it into my iPad Air 2. It works with a lot of lag, so I start taking off vanity items (venting filters), not working smoke-grenade launchers, and the knobs on radios. I manage to cut the parts count down to 827, but I appreciate he effort you put in. Extremenly detailed. Wonderful.
It is so detailed that I have no idea what is what when zooming into the vehicle when trying to deal with the lag. But it works fine. I do not even have to turn the physics to low although I can because there are really not much going on there.Anyway, good job, @WahrscheinlichIch !
One of my dream is to create a PISTON-powered helicopter. You beat me when I just did my aviation club presentation, @Visify !!!!!!
Well...just wait.
Oh god this Thomas "worm" segment......

Okay. The engine look "interesting"...
Cockpit detatched version plz....@iwannabeelected
sure. thx. :D
I know. Interesting.
Cool. Me too...
This let me thought of the S P I C from the Germans.
@Tangyuge So you modded some fuselage block to be "invincible" then you put the guns there, and stuck the fuselage at the opening of it.....cool.
No it is......not a wise move.........
It is utterly stupid...although it DO pack quite a punch I must kind of admit....
It is the same thing, isn't it

@agent33 The movie is called WALL-E.
I want to do WALL_E ......
Holy moly......
Suspension is wonderful. Usefullness? can be expanded.
THIS IS NOT IDK, okay?
This is a 5-linkage mega-range prototypic unit okay?!?
Nice.
When I pull out the engine, things look weird.
What the..............?
Anyway, where did you get this engine as a whole?
@Tangyage
FIRST, a big lol.
SECOND, what kind of physics is that?
THIRD, where are the bullets?
lol
some one is completely crazy and fit way too many propeller engines one should mount on his plane.
INTERESTING......
What the......you do not have propeller engines back at the time when the game launches? How? @kikasshes
I am. I BOUGHT IT on APP Store on iOS. I will check it out.
Why don't you just use a propeller engine at the very beginning? I mean, instead of painfully work on a "fake" one, a simple snap and adjust will do.
that makes a lot of sense. I actually have some thoughts on improving this, but that is huge task and will probably not upload it soon.@Monsterbash9000
@JAPANAIR1 That explains. 7 less shell but should be nothing.
Ooooooo........MOBILE FRIENDLY! Give this thingy 3 upvotes! XD
@Jundroo Is the game creator?
If so, you should have a DEV rank.........
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...................................................................
Good job, RAF 1!

@RailfanEthan I suddenly have an idea. We have pistons, right?
Well I am going. to. make. a. PISTON TRAIN!
REAL ONE! Hohoho!
@RailfanEthan I thought you would make the Union Pacific, man!
Especially the X3895, only if I remembered right.

And you should safe it as a sub-assembly to use it on some better ones (ex: American T-40 Tank Destroyer)
Sure. I can tell you make the cart in like, ten seconds.
But I am probably not going to do an upvote because that design, to me, is incorrect.
It is okay. Do not blame yourself because someone else plays Torld Of Tanks and have dimensions of it and is better equipped then you.
Good to know and thanks. Upvote! : D

@Planeengineer31625324 Well that is not a issue as that is two different things, eh?
Interesting...but my "search" never worked.@rexinn
@LASkey Does this thing have a working track? On one hand I want it to be a working one because it would be much cooler and realistic and with it horrible lag.
Can you make a post of a cockpit-detached version? Thanks.
Interesting. The flak you posted independently will have problem with firing the last shell. HOWEVER, I do not see a problem here. Interesting....
Can anyone tell me what is the "Yeti scramble" thing ? I am curious.

German have a little problem in their brain-going a this rather than building more Tigers.
+3@Crazywolf5 I am working on iOS and yes, I beat you. I have made Pz Sfl IVc Prot. That shoots 20 boom 25. Gun is not from me, however.
I am already having a great deal of fun in the "jump zone".
Okay....This is a great gun I must admit. HOWEVER, I need to ask this:
WHY, will it explode upon firing the last shell?
