Today, you tried to replicate an aircraft operated by a real life airline. You should try more with curving text labels, even modifying it’s XML file, via overload.
Saturn when a satellite hits it. While I apprciate the detail put into this replica (except for that blue ring on top), this build appears meant to be funny.
Nice craft. Where are the smoothing. Also, the engine configuration may mean problems, especially when just 2 VTOL nozzles and 2 straight nozzles won’t mean that the aircraft has VTOL capacity. And what is the use of the intake on top of the main body?
The vehicle is still way out of proportion (especially the nose). Plus the wheels are placed too far away from each other (and also too small). You could use the jackhammer as reference when you build such things in the future.
If you are referring to the new Multiplayer Server, the IP address is 160.251.58.131; the old one has been disabled, due to end of life of VPS service.
.
Please see this for more information regarding this.
These paragraphs, apart from the challenge rules, last words quote, and deadline, seem to be irrelevant to said challenge itself. Also, are the rules too restrictive?
At least you got the basic idea of what a stealth aircraft looks like. It looks like a F-22, but some things need to be tweaked (like angling the inlets so they reduce radar cross-section).
That’s pretty nice, but the front is a bit off. Also, you should start using fuselage smoothing. The black lines need to be inline with the fuselage (try fuselage slicing to make it better).
@bosscai, by that “draw”, you are referring to a drawing that you deleted. Well, DeezDucks just commented this in said drawing post:
$Cope Yes, there is no actual build
Note: I have replaced the “@“ with a “$” to avoid tagging Cope.
.
PS: Try and look into the comments section of the user, if said user tags you on a removed build.
If you are bored and you still want to make SimplePlanes-related content and/or interact with the community, you can make films or music videos using SimplePlanes (please comply with copyright laws), or if you have the opportunity, make SimplePlanes update reviews, experimenting with physics, and/or build livestreams (you can show wacky and/or experimental builds like fighter jets with their main wings suspended below the fuselage).
.
However, if you are bored with SimplePlanes and the community, you could do something else like making music via LMMS (a free and open source program to create music), making animations, or even play other games (like SimpleRockets2). It’s up to you.
.
FYI:
Yes, I am, indeed, getting bored with SimplePlanes, especially when they aren’t user friendly for creating mechanisms, compared to SimpleRockets2 and the program is only limited to my computer, not a portable device. Also contributing is that I want to create content other than SimplePlanes. I am not telling you to leave, I am telling you what I am feeling right now.
It is often very difficult and part consuming to implement said drive axles. Stock wheels do not rotate along with their axles either and fuselage wheels may have their own problems (like “jittering” as one user reported). I find it easier in Simplerockets2 than in Simpleplanes to make such drivetrains.
Could be used in MultiPlayer, considering it does not have any aesthetics apart from being low enough to somewhat support MP.
.
Is there any propulsion (they do not work underwater)? Have you Set the fuselages to high buoyancy?
And don’t forget to put a redirect to the new, updated post on this old post of yours (instructions here, so users will ask to be redirected onto the new plane when they try to visit this old post.
I have never ever seen an IFV/APC with more than 8 (4 on each side) wheels. Therefore, I would still Imagine this is a tank that lacks a sprocket and an idler (except in very very few cases like the tetrarch tank), both are necessary for tracks. I think I will give you a pass with no tank tracks (or you could try and maybe improvise fake tank tracks).
@SheriffHackdogMCPE, I do not think there was discriminative intent at the developers removing mod support on mobile platforms; it’s due to technical reasons that prevented them from implementing mod support in mobile. They still have access to Overload and DeisgnerSuite though.
While it doesn’t look as close as the real car, it’s pretty decent. Also you got a good take at the cockpit of a car. I do like if those levers are somehow placed at the driver’s feet and are piston throttles (forgive me, I forgot the actual name of this stock part) instead of levers, so they look like early pedals for the driver to push with it’s feet.
Well that’s pretty nice looking, isn’t it? You should paint the plane white and not some pre-painted colors. You should also add some detail to the windshield (3 pillars separating the windshield into 4 pieces is enough). Also the square windows might suggest the cabin is unpressurized.
No, the person will not get a notification when you curate a craft from said person. Because of this, when you curate a craft, please post a comment stating such (it also provides you an opportunity to insert your review of the craft you want to curate). You should suggest this to your fellow curators; they might not be aware of this.
Just to clarify.
.
@SPairforce, well, it’s okay to make simple jokes; however, please be careful with your wording, otherwise you might create a joke that might offend people (e.g. using racist slurs). As for the overused meme posts, as the meme is beginning to be overused, the quality of meme posts become poorer, becoming boring and seen as spam, leading people to complain (and moderators to forbid further poor-quality meme posts). Any post can be perceived by the community or part of such as rule breaking may result in drama, and can include what moderators consider to violate the rules (e.g. spam posts as mentioned by SodiumIodide and WiiMini (on some points)), or not (an anime girl walker that does not violate the rules banning sexually suggestive themes but perceived by the community as such, leading to controversy).
.
Do note that some groups (such as some anime fans) may be discriminated by the community for various reasons (although this seems to have died down in recent years).
.
Hope that helps.
Using an expensive, stealth, strategic bomber to perform strategic bombing upon a very inexpensive, insignificant, but common target, using a relatively inexpensive air-to-surface missile that is supposed to be equipped onto smaller aircraft.
.
The least cost-effective way to destroy an inexpensive, not so defended, common target that should be easily destroyed through other means (like easily setting it on fire after capture; using large firearms to demolish said target; using artillery, rockets, et cetera; performing ground attack onto said target, via a relatively inexpensive attack aircraft).
Make the wheels wider, so the get more ground pressure. Also the front’s too long and the wheels are too much; is this supposed to be a tank with continuous tracks? If so, make it wider and flatter, so it looks like a real tank.
You need to use and utilize control bases and grips in a correct manner to create custom yokes. It generally takes more time and effort to create custom yokes, especially the complex F1 steering wheel. I will give you some tips:
Use references:
Using references can help you create a more accurate yoke. You can download a mod called “DesignerSuite” and use blueprints for better accuracy.
Acknowledge the limitations:
If there is no stock knob, try to improvise a way to create a knob. Try to scale down (with Overload) and use the control base and grip then model it after knobs to create said knob.
Be patient:
If you become impatient, try to meditate yourself. Being calmer and more patient helps you to be better at creating stuff. You can postpone your work later. Also, don’t set deadlines; that might make you hurry to meet said deadlines and that can lower the quality of your build.
That’s all the tip’s I got for you. Good luck on your work. :)
There isn’t any way to know which triggers controversy. I have documented historical causes for various controversies, including:
posting something that might be perceived, by the community or parts of it, to violate the rules, even if moderators confirm they do not.
posting anything that appears to be related to a controversial subject (like the war in Ukraine or anything related to Taiwan).
creating a post that defies their expectations (e.g. a poorly made airbrake-laden plane that suddenly gained a large amount of upvotes)(though it does not always turn into controversy).
Creating a poorly-intentioned meme post (like creating a post based on a meme that has been overly used over and over again to the point that it became boring and viewed as spam by the community).
This is all I can get to you. There might be more causes to trigger controversies but I cannot state all of them. One of the best ways are to be polite and NOT to be rude. Always try to follow the rules because they help you navigate the community without causing trouble. If you don’t like to follow the rules, then please leave this community.
@Juno, as with DeveloperKorzalerke’s comment, no. Tully2001 voluntarily deleted his account; Tully2001 did come back, until he deleted the account again.
Tully2001 was once a moderator, the one with the most points at one time, who developed a reputation of being “ban happy”; he uses various methods (like asking for their age) to try and ban as many people as he can. As of 2022, I have never seen the community mentioning Tully2001 again.
Pretty much detailed in a low part count. Only things I want to point out are that the windows have no glass, and most modern-modern day cars now have windows. Also, it looks more like a station wagon than an actual sport utility vehicle (SUV), according to me.
Looks pretty nice. At least, give a backstory.
Today, you tried to replicate an aircraft operated by a real life airline. You should try more with curving text labels, even modifying it’s XML file, via overload.

+4You could remove the rotating cockpit thingy if you wish to, since this cockpit thingy is actually a placeholder. :)
This is pretty detailed an accurate. Maybe make a version using the Tracks II mod?
What does “proprietary engine” mean? If possible, please clarify.
Nice craft. Where are the smoothing. Also, the engine configuration may mean problems, especially when just 2 VTOL nozzles and 2 straight nozzles won’t mean that the aircraft has VTOL capacity. And what is the use of the intake on top of the main body?
@WilliamHenryHarrison, that is because the chunk rendering cannot reach you at that speed; or you may have gone up too far away from the land.
+1Nice idea, but the subassembly will have a high polygon count instead of the high part count.
+3The vehicle is still way out of proportion (especially the nose). Plus the wheels are placed too far away from each other (and also too small). You could use the jackhammer as reference when you build such things in the future.
+1@Bobyo, I wanna see the final product you made (and I hope I did not forget this)! (>&<)
Looks so cool, even from the thumbnail.
+2SimplePlanes is older than SimpleRockets2 and SimpleRockets2 did not garner enough publicity than in SimplePlanes.
+1If you are referring to the new Multiplayer Server, the IP address is 160.251.58.131; the old one has been disabled, due to end of life of VPS service.

The earth is not flat, but (roughly) spherical. However, the SimplePlanes world is flat and goes to infinity!
+4Well, at least, I might add a cockpit later, but without or very few instruments.
+2If you are bored and you still want to make SimplePlanes-related content and/or interact with the community, you can make films or music videos using SimplePlanes (please comply with copyright laws), or if you have the opportunity, make SimplePlanes update reviews, experimenting with physics, and/or build livestreams (you can show wacky and/or experimental builds like fighter jets with their main wings suspended below the fuselage).

Then will there be a spacecraft version of this plane?
If you cannot make smooth camouflage with that many parts, paint it in 1 color instead, so it doesn’t look botched to me.

@Phoebe, as in USN aircraft.
That is the F-18 Super Hornet, is it?

+1Ah yes, T-35, the Char 2C of the Soviet Union.
When people make empty posts, this one is a joke post.
+5@Bobyo, it looks too much like a tank than an IFV to me.

You already know what an IFV looks like. Go make it shorter and the wheels wider!
