Clever use of concealed glass surfaces. I like how good this build is. Sadly, it doesn’t meet my criteria for a spotlight.

  • dc-2 (redesigned cockpit way better) 3.0 years ago

Those are nice additions to the cockpit. The plane is symmetrical either. However:

    • the grey gauge panels on top of the main, white dashboard looks odd, and I don’t like only face and needle gauges, or gauges without a base. Make it a bit taller and wider so it can accommodate the gauges.
That big thingy with an alarm and “LOW” text appears to be too large.
    • I would like the addition of the yaw pedals, but if you don’t want to, that’s okay.

  • I have a question..... 3.0 years ago

Erkanoplans and other ground effect vehicles are considered aircraft, since they can still float in the air above the ground, therefore their bodies are technically considered aircraft fuselages.

@Zaineman, that’s a pretty nice but awful-looking cockpit, looking like some 90s computer graphics or some cartoon cockpit, really sorry about that. But what a nice thing to add... ;)
    .
Also, the 737 carrot made is a replica, however you changed the front fuselage, so... ‘“|…( :) )…|“‘

That’s a nice light utility truck. Did you make it all by yourself or did you use parts from someone else?

  • My new plane has a nice vertical surface 3.0 years ago

I would like to note that...

    • You can separate the vertical stabilizer into 2 parts, one being at the front, and the one with the ailerons being at the back, both very close to each other as if they’re attached as one. This would allow for uniform ailerons while allowing various wing shapes.

A bit more smoothing would do, but your attention to detail will do. Only thing I want is a gray matte paint.

Now that’s a very cool starship, with it’s Gurren Lagann-sequel styling, only suitable in an edgy science-fiction fantasy anime.

  • My first proper plane-Simple"NewBee" 3.0 years ago

Yes it’s a proper plane. The wings should be thicker at the base than at the tip, not the same thickness. Remove the aileron on the bottom part of the vertical stabilizer.

@X99STRIKER, because that’s how the Touhou Project fandom works and I am part of that fandom; there is also a more well-known day, Cirno day at 09/09/09, September 9 2009, and it’s also celebrated annually.

And no, Touhou Project isn’t anime, it’s a series of bullet hell video games, all made by ZUN in his group Team Shanghai Alice (where he is only member).

In Indonesia, my country, the average height for men is 164.03 cm (5 ft 4+1⁄2 in), while the average height for women is 154.05 cm (5 ft 1⁄2 in). The passenger part in SimplePlanes does not scale well. Use The seat and camera, so your crafts fit the scale I want.

A strike will be issue to accounts who broke a rule. This strike appears to have been handed down because you tried to ping multiple people to see if they are “still around” or not, which is pretty annoying, both to the pinged users and to the poster who has their comments section filled by your spam comments. Next time, be considerate, or more trouble ensues, as getting enough strikes may result in a ban (and no ban evasion, it’s also prohibited to evade bans).

Hi. Use fuselage blocks to make builds better. You can adjust such fuselage blocks by modifying the parameters, up to a maximum of 10. You can also "slice" the fuselage by modifying the "vertical" parameters; more of these parameters can be accessed by clicking or tapping the "Advanced" button.
    你好。使用机身块使构建更好。您可以通过修改参数来调整这样的机身块,最大为10个。您也可以通过修改“垂直”参数来“切片”机身;通过单击或点击“高级”按钮可以访问更多此类参数。

Building a car is easier than building a plane. You only need the 4 wheels (located in the "Landing Gear" section) attached to the engine (located in the "Propulsion" section); to attach the wheels to the engine is not directly to the engine, but go to the wheel options and click or tap "Engine" "" button. I'll show you how to build a car, first building the frame with the wheels and engine, then assembling the body of said car to the top of the frame. When building lighter vehicles, be sure to lower the engine horsepower, To keep the car from rolling over in turns unless you have good suspension.

Curators need to have both SPVR and a working headset and must review crafts to see if it works in VR or not. I cannot go further on this subject and would rather await response from an official curator.

  • Destroying the Beast… with a rotary Multiple-Launch-Rocket-System 3.0 years ago

@Tsuchiisan, it’s probably a joke. Michael Bay is famous for his use of over-the-top explosions, somewhat ridiculous equipment, and sophomoric humor in his films, particularly the Bay-era Transformers franchise. The rotary missile makes Michael Bay happy. Therefore, if this missile system is “style” then Michael Bay is a “fashion icon”.

  • HFX4-Scout 3.0 years ago

Nice details. It looks unconventional; the cockpit is supposed to be at the front most part of the helicopter and the turboshaft engines are usually placed at the top of the main fuselage with inlets and exhausts sticking out, depending on the number of engines and engine configuration. I like some amount of detail though, even though some (like that decorative antenna at the main inlet) can be problematic.

  • Jet planes are jumpy, how do I fix? 3.0 years ago

Would a more correct term for this phenomena be “shaky”? If your craft experiences shaky motion when pitching, try to reduce the airfoil.
    .
Roll left and right and start pitching, then it cannot roll anymore? That seems abnormal, but try to reduce weight.
    .
This is probably a sign that your plane is imbalanced in either, aerodynamic and weight-based situations. Setting the rudder as half-symmetrical or flat bottomed might cause the plane to go unpredictable. Try to make the plane symmetrical; many planes are symmetrical because of balance reasons.
    .
As DKnotSpy pointed out, the performance flies bad.

  • FLAMM Gargoyle MkII 3.0 years ago

@FlammKraft, what I mean is the lack of a presence of grips; which, along with the control base is absolutely needed for a functioning VR control thingy.

  • LCT-9S32 3.0 years ago

You made extensive improvements to a simple vehicle. I like the looks, but the turret seems to be too heavy and looks odd to me. Could you make it smaller?

  • Dolphin 3.0 years ago

@hardy57, @50CalChicken, @Tsuchiisan, what I mean is if realistic physics, somehow, applied to the craft. For me, the glass canopy doesn’t look good underwater and may break under pressure. Furthermore, the fins appear a bit detached from the main fuselage and the propeller pods are not polished, causing drag. Submarines for exploration usually carry tools to allow for either research or to allow further exploration. This one does not, but I would give a pass; it’s up to you.
    .
For me, the fictional tag applies if the craft is fictional, and yes it is fictional, but that does not stop me from giving critique with realism. All I want are good looking planes with a good to great amount of realism, not good looking planes with little or no realism or have realistic defects.

The plane pitches down and there are no trim tabs, forcing me to pull the yoke a bit. I am not fond of cameras with Auto Center enabled, since they prevent me from accessing the other controls out of said camera (especially the gear lever). The plane otherwise looks alright, with the exception of the canopy that ran too deep into the fuselage (and it’s weird for me to look at though).
