@Pauciloquent I have to test it on monday for my 1250 lbs challenge.
@Sirstupid I think it's impossible to go "near" sonic with this. :( Sorry. I have a prototipe work in progress, with no gear scored 729 in level flight and it's the fastest for now. With gear it score a bit less, but around 720 in level flight. But I think it's impossible to breack sound barrier with a prop plane. :( The configuration that score 729 reach max speed in few second, then "hit" in the barrier and stop to accelerate...
@Sirstupid @Pauciloquent @Skua Tested the M-37, at 1770 ft (usually I test my plane between 1400 and 1500 ft, but this one is really hard to stabilize) it scores only 661 Mph, very far from sound barrier, and very far from my personal record of 729 mph.
@YUSUF Now start a new plane, remove the two cubes, add a single piece of fuselage, and start to mess with numbers, and keep note what appened. ;) Best whishes.
@YUSUF XML editing. You must open the XML planes's file, and change numeric values by hand. Sadly there is no "graphic editor", you must edit it with wordpad.
@AviationXpert154 Because the game engine every single little cable or piece of wood are "fuselage", so the plane is more times heaviest than original... :( the game have some limits.
@SteadfastContracting I think there is no way to know... and it's a bit weird feel some couples of eyes that look at you without know who they are. But, anyway, they surely are friends, so... I don't care.
@SteadfastContracting Yes, the original one have a vertical fin very, very little. Too little. The model has at least it doubled, but... it is too tiny anyway. It need no hard manouver. (and the original too) The wings too forward give their help to the issue. I put a lot of deadweight frontside, but the COL and the COM are still too near.
@AviownCorp @Jettison @MrTaco Thanks for the entry!
Remember the rules:
1) Must be 1250 lbs or less
2) Must have at least 10 gallons fuel
3) Must be a propeller plane (no jets, rokets, gliders or any other engines or no engines)
4) Must have a landing gear and must be able to take off
5) Must be a successor
6) NO XML EDITING!!!
You CAN use the small rod given in my announcement, in any quantity, and you can in-game mod it (shorter, longer, thicker...) but not mod it via XML editing.
@Pauciloquent ;) Limits are made to stimulate us to break them. Keep work, mate. I will keep. ;)
@ElGatoVolador The limits are made to be explored ... and maybe breaked! ;)
@Sirstupid Link the exact version, please. Maybe I pick a wrong plane?

@AndrewGarrison
@iFalco Already done, P51 published. :D Thanks anyway, mate. I love to resolve my problems by myself, but I really appreciate your offer. :D
@DeezDucks @SteadfastContracting Thanks mates
@EnchantedChrome You are welcome, my friend.
Simply put the muzle as near as you can to the prop. The bullet is generated a bit forward of this.
@Swiftsure Heavyest at full load, but smallest in dimension and lightest at empty weight. ;)

I'm in.... look for my spad replica in my account ;)
I'm working on the under fuselage air intake. And it's a nightmare! ;D
@kikasshes Already done, and failed... I was not enought skilled. Or maybe the game engine is not enought skilled ;D
Nice, starting on monday I will test any planes, and starting to judge them and write my notes for results. ;)
@SteadfastContracting Thanks and keep working, let's see what you can do! @Sergo585 thanks mate.
@deusalgor You are welcome, it's beautifull.
Wow! Lets attach it under my snaw force one... :)
You are a star wars fan! :D Good job!
it's amazing what you all are doing with the 1250 lbs limit. Every one is doing reallty smart things.
@Geekpride Nice, mate. Thanks. The second plane sadly is an example plane, but no problems. :D

@YUSUF I'm talking of PC version. What version you have?
@YUSUF "AircraftDesigns" folder, inside game folder.
@YUSUF XML editing. You must open the XML planes's file, and change numeric values by hand. Sadly there is no "graphic editor", you must edit it with wordpad.
First
Smart idea for gear position. I feel this contest very interesting.
Damn, I have to subscrive you... :D Great work, mate.
@AviationXpert154 nice, thnx ☺
@Chromium thanx mate... the original is mine, you can find it in my page

Well done, my friend.
Just subscrived
You just gained a follower
@FrankieB nice :)
Nice concept and design.
Interesting concept, but I think you must work better on paintjobs. Good work, anyway. :D
@EvilGenius Woah, the Valkyrie is beautifull... :D

here the cockpit you must use to be successor
here all the entry
The paintjob remind me lego toys,I dont know why :)
Wow, i like this concept plane. I cant wait to try it.
Must take off to be judge ;)
Nice design
@Thehtmguy you can improve only competing with the better ones... keep up the good work, mate.
@Thehtmguy doing your better? ;)
