@Karlosdarkness Paul Moller, yeah. Cool guy. A lot of innovations have come out of Moller International. Unfortunately, we won't see skycars in the sky any time soon. The technology just isn't present to make them crash-proof.

@Authros I don't know why, but it didn't mark this as a successor to your plane. So I'm tagging you to notify you I uploaded this so you'll know I gave you credit.
Awesome design, as usual. Looks great, handles even better!
P.S. I could be wrong (and correct me if I am), but I don't think Sabres ever carried sidewinders :/
Looks like I'm just going to have to start over on this one. Sad, but it looks like I can't fix the problems without a complete deconstruction of the plane.
It looks fantastic. I mean it looks FANTASTIC! A work of art.
Handling could be a little better, but it's solid enough.
Definitely one of the most photo-accurate planes posted.
@T3485 use the cockpit from this file to make the plane you want to submit. If you want to use a plane you've already built, remove the cockpit from it and save the plane as a sub assembly then just import that sub assembly to this save file.
@PlanesOfOld The problem I have is when you mod the engine power they take forever to throttle down. You get more power and greater speed, and the loss of fine throttle control. It's really quite aggravating. If someone could figure out how to mod an engine's power and still have the throttle be quick and responsive, I wouldn't have a problem.
@deimosrun Here you go. The only real problem I've had is that it tends to lose control if you nose down really hard. So just go easy on the stick when applying downward pitch, and also go easy on take-off too (it only takes a gentle pull on the stick with the flaps down).
Aside from being a bit nose-heavy, this is a pretty good example of a flying boat. I like that it's not very complex, but still has a very pronounced flying boat shape.
Very well done. I didn't have to change much to make it very stable. As is it flies well, but is slightly under-powered. I changed the horizontal stabilizers to symmetric , buried a small jet engine in the fuselage for a little extra oomf, and modified the tail booms so they attach a little differently. I also edited the flaps so they look a little more natural. I test flew with these changes and found that it flies remarkably well, with a relatively low stall speed of around 76mph. The only real issue I've had is that it doesn't like to fly inverted, as it will always try to right itself (Likely this is because the COM is well below the COL, and this actually makes the plane very stabe!). If you'd like me to upload my improved version, just let me know.
Well, it's not technically cheating. I said you couldn't use rotating VTOL nozzles or make it a VTOL. But having rotating props is kind of cheap.
That being said, this is a very interesting design, and definitely worth the lols. I had to move the forward wings up a notch though because the props kept breaking them when they rotated. Still, very cool concept, and will, at the very least, make it into the honorable mentions.
Good news. I got it to work without falling apart!
When is the contest over?

@Jmicah4 @Authros @SpiritusRaptor THANKS GUYS!
@Authros :D
@PlanesOfOld I changed it to the F-16XL which is a delta-wing tech demonstrator. The original one Authros made was just a standard F-16.

@hypnotoad thanks!
@Ronoc Actually, I already fixed it, and posted the fixed version. Go check it out.
@JacobHardy64 This Saturday. The contest doesn't end until Friday.
@JMicah4 Good idea.

I love that it's all on a little cart :P
Looks cool, but I can't get it off the runway.
Your center of lift is way out in front of your center of mass. That's why it won't fly.

@Vikdesigns June 12, this Friday.
You should choose one of my planes to add to the Septicairforce.
Such Flaps! Very Lift! Much Stable! WOW! (Seriously, this plane is rock solid, and looks great too! Awesome job!)
Reminds me of a saab viggen.
Just incredible! This needs to be featured!

Looks really good, but did you HAVE to use a modded engine?
@PlanesOfOld Relax guy, I'm already following you :P
I'm assuming this is a part of something much larger that you're building?
Very cool. So why weren't you able to make it VTOL?
@JacobHardy64 This is Deimosrun's plane. I just modified it to improve some stability issues. Please rate his as well, ya?
@deimosrun Thanks. The updated version handles way better than this one, too.

Just go to google and type in "weird planes" or "unusual planes" and you get plenty of ideas.

@KingDeadshot Whatever that link led to doesn't exist anymore. What was it about?

@ZFM99 Thanks!
@Scriefers I don't know how I managed to nail that yaw control either. It just sort of came out that way. Happy accident I guess.

Is there a limit to the number of entries per person?
I got my entry in.
@CopyCat Your face is unstable.
Very interesting. I suggest giving it some longer landing gear, or raising the wings a bit so the engines clear the ground when it's landed.
Tends to roll pretty hard to the right, but other than that, this is a pretty sweet mini-build.
@Scriefers I think it's going to be a long, long time before they fully replace the A-10 ~_^
Not terribly stable in flight, but it does meet all the criteria. Good entry.
@Vikdesigns Glad to know I'm a contender :D
@ZFM99 lol, well not "America" as a whole. Just little old me :D
@Spikerya Yeah, that's fine.
Congrats on your feature!
