Looks great. But I won't be able to test drive it until this evening :(
Update: Got to test drive this thing. Works incredibly well. You are a true genius with Simpleplanes!
I'm giving this high marks because it looks amazing, and I can tell a lot of work went into making it.
However: It flies like it has a mind of it's own, and the extremely overclocked jet engine combined with wonky flight characteristics made it impossible for me to land it. I had to circle the airfield for 5 minutes waiting for the engine to wind down and by the time it did I tried to pull a sharp bank and it went into an uncontrollable spin and ate dirt next to the runway :P
@LjSpike Uploaded some pontoons. Nothing new, just what I've done so far all in one place. I also uploaded a DIY seaplane if you'd like to check it out.
@PlanesOfOld Ha! Nah, you won. Not many entries sadly, but enough to judge, so a success I guess. I'm going to wait a few days before I start the next challenge.
@KingDeadShot @Cedy117 @Spikerya @ErikTheViking @Kevpilot @Vikdesigns Just a friendly reminder: If any of you were planning to submit a plane, there are only 5 days left in the competition.
@carter2 Welcome aboard!
@jhefferan Welcome to the challenge!
Pretty good. I added some stock landing gear to it and it worked just fine. Great looking plane!
It looks great, but the weird cockpit placement, and the poor flight characteristics kind of spoil it.
@LordofLego lol fireworks
@LordofLego did I forget to Deactivate the pylons?
Awesome! Looks great, flies like an exploding brick.
@letsgofast11 that's where the inspiration came from for the design.
Impressive. A little sensitive on the elevator control, but still a very solid seaplane. Good work!
@UltimatePilot Haha! Awesome! Thanks!
Looks great, but the prop blades need to be a bit longer I think.

@THEaviator Thanks!
@lordofLego But it's a blast to fly, isn't it?
Do air brakes count as control surfaces?

@Autsinowen Thanks!
@Cedy117 lol awesome
@Hypnoticchicken coolio
How many entries are allowed per person?
I'm in. I'll have an entry ready probably by tomorrow.
Pretty spiffy.
@PlanesOfOld btw, did you check out my Supermarine Seahawk?
@PlanesOfOld I was going to do the Park Flier challenge...
@PlanesOfOld Ha! Nah, you won. Not many entries sadly, but enough to judge, so a success I guess. I'm going to wait a few days before I start the next challenge.
@PlanesOfOld Yeah, didn't you see the comment I posted?
Congratulations All! 1st: @PlanesOfOld 2nd: @Wormforce 3rd @abledbody See you next challenge!
Flies just fine. However, it did explode violently when I tried to land.
Looks pretty good. BTW, the designation for the twin mustang is F-82 ~_^
With skills like these, what're you asking me to build a goose for? o_o'
Great build. The dimensions are pretty close to accurate.
So it's just a static model? It doesn't fly?
@1Equilibrium2 Okay. What does this have to do with my plane?
@1Equilibrium2 ?
@Cedy117 should I do fixed or retractable pontoons?
@Cedy117 I'll see whati can do. The goose is my favorite amphib. My first flying boat, the skipper, was loosely based on the goose.
@Spikerya That's fine. Just wanted to give a heads up just in case.
Very clever idea. That snake looks like it's having way too much fun, though.

Sweet. I'll post it when the Schneider trophy challenge is over.
@PlanesOfOld How about we make a challenge out of it?
@JacobHardy64 Sounds like a pretty reasonable stall speed to me :L
@carter2 Don't do that :P
@Hypnotoad Thanks!
@LjSpike Alright. I'll put some thought into it and see what I can come up with.
@PlanesOfOld i dunno, anything! lol.
Sweet video!
@PlanesOfOld That could be pretty fun!
@LjSpike like pontoons and stuff?
