Now THIS is a really neat design! I'm really impressed with this plane. It looks great! I'm a sucker for twin boom designs, too. And that mid-engine arrangement is very cool, kind of like a prop-fan plane. Performance is excellent. In the air it flies like a dream, and handles like a speedboat on the water. A truly excellent entry!
Performs very well.
And don't worry, even ugly planes have their own special charm.
Got a few wonky, interesting looking planes in this competition so far. At this rate, I might have to include an ugly duckling prize :P
@Acelamb233 Just use the cockpit in this save file for your plane. If you've already built the plane, remove the cockpit and save the rest of the plane as a sub-assembly, then attach it to this cockpit and upload.
About time we see some Star Citizen models here! This looks great. Lots of detail. It actually lags a bit on my PC, so must be some impressive complexity there. Still loved flying it, though. Awesome work!
Very sturdy little plane here. I even dove it into the water a couple times and still managed to right it and land without a problem. The Anhedral wings worried me at first, but this plane is stable as can be. Great job!
Nice plane, but I can't seem to land it on water without it pitching forward and tumbling.
(edit: sorry to say, but this plane is over-weight. I'm going to leave the rating for participation, but if you want it to qualify you'll need to shave off some pounds.)
Farely stable sea plane. Has a tendency to lose control if I push down hard on the stick. Wing's a bit wobbly, but that could be fixed by using structural wings for your wing's base.
Great retooling of your SSTOL entry. It still can take-off almost from a stand-still, and that's really impressive with the addition of floats and retractable landing gear!
I guess it's cool that you uploaded this by itself, but I can't accept it as an entry to the challenge.
Pretty sweet! Like an A-10 on steroids!
@ramjet Thanks!

@ramjet It does it all! Just doesn't do any of it very well :P
Well done! A solid performer.

Much better. Performs beautifully!
@Blajaman Gotcha!
This is the second plane you've posted. You only get one. Do you want this to be your official entry?
@Stampede ? The contest isn't over until August 7th o_o'
Very detailed. Love it!
@Jettison :D
@Sapphirewolf Welcome to the party! :D

@Mrwhiskers85 Good idea!
Very nice mini-build. Great detail. Love those floats too :D

Love a good quirky design. You should check out my plane called Expeditious Retreat! :D
Just letting you know, you only get one entry. So which of the two planes you posted would you like to be your official entry plane?
@Wormforce Glad to have you!

Very well done. Great control on take off and landing on both land and water!
Nice submission to the contest here :D
Solid little plane here. Handles very nicely.

Excellent Submission!
Good entry.
You only get one entry, so which of the two do you want as your official plane?
@LordofLego You can file hack to arrange parts, but you can't change the power of engines or the volume of fuel tanks.
A solid entry to the competition.
Very interesting design. While I think this is probably the ugly duckling of this competition, the ingenuity of this plane is definitely note-worthy!
Excellent design. Landing on land can be a little hazardous, but other than that, a solid entry!
Very interesting design. Great flight characteristics too.
One of the most stable aircraft in this competition so far. Great job!

Performs very well, and I dig the unorthodox design!
A little squirrely, especially when landing, but not bad after a little practice.
@Cedy117 Awesome! Always nice to have you with us.
@LjSpike Welcome aboard!
@Ramjet Just one per person.
Solid Entry. The first flying boat with pontoons design for this contest as well.
@chikimonkey1 welcome aboard!
@JacobHardy64 I try to come up with interesting ones, at least.
Nice little plane. I had little trouble taking off. I just had to rock the nose forward a little and then pull up right around 100mph.
Great retooling of your SSTOL entry. It still can take-off almost from a stand-still, and that's really impressive with the addition of floats and retractable landing gear!
Sorry to say, but this plane is over the maximum weight limit of 3500lb.
@Nickasaurusrex Welcome to the party!
@LordDoom You have two accounts now?
@JacobHardy64 Glad to have you with us :D
