  • Stonewell-Bellcom VF-19 Excalibur 9.8 years ago

@Vikdesigns THANKS! ^_^ It was a pain in the neck building this bird!

  • Aircraft supersonic 9.8 years ago

    Found you

  • Octocopter 9.8 years ago

This thing is awesome! You need more ratings!

  • Grumman F9F Panther (F9F-5) New paint job 9.8 years ago

@karlosdarkness The website gives credit automatically at the top of the page and in the stats.. Also, the original builder gets points when someone reposts or makes a successor to their plane.

  • Flying Man 9.8 years ago

Not a traditional aircraft, but hilariously awesome :D

  • Little Larry (ten parts challenge entry 9.8 years ago

@mattmck But keep in mind, there's at least one plane with only 8 parts.

  • Little Larry (ten parts challenge entry 9.8 years ago

@mattmck lol, well it'll be part of my consideration when judging.

  • The TEN PARTS Challenge (CLOSED) 9.8 years ago

@NachoMan Did you use the cockpit from this file?

  • my entry 9.8 years ago

Very cool little plane here. Flies well, easy to take off and land. I think you're also one of the lowest part counts and the only entry so far with tricycle landing gear :D

  • tincy wincy 9.8 years ago

Looks good and takes off easily, but is difficult to land without breaking apart.

  • Shark Plane! 9.8 years ago

Very cool. Flies well, and easily one of the coolest looking planes so far.

  • Ten parts challenge entry 9.8 years ago

Needs to be able to take off from the runway to qualify.

  • 10P Challenge 9.8 years ago

Looks good, and meets the requirements, but isn't very stable, and has a strong nose-up tendency that I had to constantly fight against.

  • U-4 Gnat 9.8 years ago

Takes off and flies pretty well, but I can't seem to land it without losing the wings.

  • 10 part plane 9.8 years ago

    Very well done.

  • 10 Parts Flying Wings 9.8 years ago

Really cool design. I've heard of belly landings, but a belly take off? :P

  • Ten Entry 9.8 years ago

@SeriousFlipper4 It's gotta take off from the ground to qualify.

  • 10 parts challenge entry 9.8 years ago

Performs very well. Kind of reminds me of a punk rocker :P

  • Tiny hypno plane 9.8 years ago

Very cool. Flies well. Take the whole runway to take-off, but lands fairly easily. The shape of it looks like some kind of insignia.

  • 2nd entry 9.8 years ago

Not bad. Gotta be a bit careful when taking off and landing, but very easy to fly.

  • Ten Entry 9.8 years ago

I can't get this to take off from the runway.

  • Small 9.8 years ago

You're 1 part over the limit.

  • 10 Parts challenge entry 9.8 years ago

    Good entry!

  • R-1 Rhino (Ten Parts) 9.8 years ago

    No landing gear, very interesting.

  • The Pestilent Annoyance 9.8 years ago

Pretty cool. Very creative use of your limited resources.

  • Simple-ton 9.8 years ago

Little hard to stop when landing, but other than that not a bad little plane.

  • Ten parts challenge entry 9.8 years ago

Cool design, but it needs to be able to take off from the runway :(

  • Little Larry (ten parts challenge entry 9.8 years ago

    Very nice!

  • Dix 9.8 years ago

Very nice. Looks great and performs beautifully!

  • Ten parts challenge entry 9.8 years ago

You need to post this as a successor to qualify.

  • 10 bit challenge 9.8 years ago

Pretty nice. Little tough to land, but boy is she fast!

  • The TEN PARTS Challenge (CLOSED) 9.8 years ago

    @SeriousFlipper4 yes. The cockpit counts

  • The TEN PARTS Challenge (CLOSED) 9.8 years ago

@kikasshes Nah. There will be plenty of time for challenges using the new parts when the Beta is officially released.

  • The TEN PARTS Challenge (CLOSED) 9.8 years ago

@kikasshes Don't worry, beta parts are not allowed ~_^ Only standard parts.

  • The TEN PARTS Challenge (CLOSED) 9.8 years ago

@kikasshes It works for non beta. There are no beta parts in the save. I tested it myself.

  • Blohm & Voss P.170 9.8 years ago

Didn't they use this design for one of the planes in Crimson Skies?

  • Grumman F7F Tigercat (Finished) 9.8 years ago

@Matthew240 I downloaded it from gumroad.

  • Grumman F7F Tigercat (Finished) 9.8 years ago

@Martijnproper Not really. I've been busier building new planes. I'm slowly coming up with a whole list of planes I'd like to build :D

  • Gee Bee R-2 Racer 9.8 years ago

Not a bad fix. The only problem is I was trying to keep it around the same Horsepower as the real thing :(

  • Beta F4U Corsair 9.8 years ago

Well done! I do have a couple of pointers, though. The wing needs to be rooted so that the roots are 90 degrees to the fuselage, so basically they just need to be a little lower on the body. The wing also needs to be a bit a bit shorter between the fuselage and the gull-wing.

  • Grumman Skyrocket 9.8 years ago

I see. Well, given the resources of the game, this isn't a bad representation.

  • Grumman F7F Tigercat 9.8 years ago

@Mrwhiskers85 I'll add it to my list of upcoming aircraft :D

  • Lockheed Jetstar 9.8 years ago

@GAMERmisko *Shrug* I don't really pay attention to people like that. If they don't like my description they're more than welcome to not read it :D

  • Lockheed Jetstar 9.8 years ago

@GAMERmisko o_O` I don't recall anyone hating on me. Are you having problems with someone?

  • Lockheed Jetstar 9.8 years ago

    @GAMERmisko ME TOO!

  • Grumman F7F Tigercat 9.8 years ago

    @Vikdesigns Thanks :D

  • Gee Bee R-2 Racer 9.8 years ago

@Planeguy227 Yeah, take-offs are a pain. Landings are worse. Feel free to improve the design if you can :D

  • Gee Bee R-2 Racer 9.8 years ago

@FlOu Go to the Simpleplanes subreddit and click on the Beta thread. There are links there to join the beta group and gain access to the beta.
