@Randomplayer Surprisingly, it doesn't really have any crash physics. Here's some raw uncut footage of me flying a plane around, if you skip to the end you'll notice that when I crash into the ground nothing really happens. I imagine if FO had soft body physics, it would start being less of a rival to SimplePlanes and more of a rival to BeamNG, but with planes instead of cars. As of right now, though, the crash physics in SimplePlanes are actually better.
@nordoverman lol I've had a link to my youtube channel in my bio for a while so chances are somebody on the site has heard my voice before. But yes, this is the first time my voice has been on a post on the site.
Thanks for watching my video! I'm excited to see where Flyout and SimplePlanes lead in the future. There are some things I didn't cover in the video, such as the overall building experience in each game, but suffice it to say Flyout does have some very advanced features, such as cross-section fuselage editing. Don't worry though, I won't be leaving SP any time soon, but once I upgrade my hardware I might start playing Flyout on a regular basis.

So if you go to the blueprints menu and choose a photo from your device you can include the blueprint in your screenshot. So take the screenshot on your device then use it as a blueprint.
@Graingy they both joined after that account went dead. The owner is still active, but he doesn't have that account anymore. He'sn a different account.

srsly tho, not sure why there's so much controversy surrounding this, if you look at the events that have happened over there, it should be pretty apparent what exactly is going on.
Maybe sharing the annoying things about your brother is not a good habit to be in. Maybe it's harmless now considering that he can't see it, but whether you like him or not, he is still your brother, and it can't hurt to show at least a little respect. Everybody knows people that are a little off the wall, and sometimes it does seem like these people can be inferior, but it's still important to treat them with love and respect, even when we feel we don't want to.
Sharing this on this forum is a bit unnecessary as well. None of us need to know about your family issues, and while one or two people may be able to help, it's about as relevant to SimplePlanes as sharing a recipe for broccoli casserole.
@Mage2IsTriggered that’s really strange, I haven’t witnessed that. Are you on the latest version of SP?
Also, could you attach a screenshot so I can take a look?
@daniboi99 use this aircraft. Start at Wright island and turn so that your heading is 0. Set the game to fast forward and use AG4 to put the Droplet in turbo mode. Throttle up and wait about 20 seconds and you will be at snowstone.
So fair warning, my FT skills are a bit basic, and I'm sure there's a more efficient way to do this, but my method worked during my testing.
You can create a variable and call it something so you can remember what it does. Maybe something like rotatorControl or something like that. Set its expression to rotatorControl+[INPUT] with the input being whatever input you want your oars to be. What this does is say that rotatorControl will stay at the same value unless you add to it via your input. Then you can set the input to your oar to rotatorControl and it should work. The only problem here is that it probably won't stop immediately. You can change that by dividing the input by something that works for you. I think dividing it by 90 should work.
I know funky trees can be confusing, so if this didn't make any sense, I made a little proof of concept you can find here . If you have any questions let me know, I know I probably could have done a better job explaining that.

@Brayden1981 like I said at 1:25, flyout is PC only :(
Be jamesPLANESiiii

That setup bwahahaha

Hey hope you’re doing ok man, idk what’s going on in your life but hopefully everything is better soon.

@L1nus so quite a bit of time, I would imagine.
how many hours would you say you put in on average on each of your builds?
Is it in {these goofy brackets}?
this doesn't really count cause the user already had a different account, but this
@Transair56 oh yeah he's just not terribly active. He might appear if we tag him tho
@Graingy idk maybe. Out of the thousands of players he follows it does make sense that a couple might be missing.
@Graingy they both joined after that account went dead. The owner is still active, but he doesn't have that account anymore. He'sn a different account.
@Graingy JesusChrist is following pretty much everybody
@Graingy 1.2 years ago evidently. I actually remember them being active I think.
@Graingy idk some dude who had a ton of alts. Used to be quite a titan of the community if I recall correctly.
@Graingy and possibly all of Knightofren's alts
I find it hard to believe that anyone in this comment section holds the record
@ToeTips that's a good idea, I assume you mean kind of a relative ranking; sort of like a grade curve in school?
Call me basic but Creep
If you had
One shot
Or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted
In one moment
Would you capture it?
Or just let it slip
Yo
Me
@SpartanSR91 Thanks!
Means a lot.

@Mage2IsTriggered I'll try messing around and I'll see what I can do.
Note: for some reason, water quality must be on high or you might get some weird texture errors.
@Mage2IsTriggered ohhh that’s very interesting. I wouldn’t have thought that would make a difference. I’ll put that in a pinned comment.
@Mage2IsTriggered that’s really strange, I haven’t witnessed that. Are you on the latest version of SP?

@N0ble one of Gestour’s mod posts
So if it's a younger brother, just act like he's not bothering you and he'll probably stop. If it's an older brother, there's not much you can do.
Looks good!
@All nice I might check it out
It's nice to ask them first, but whether you do or not, say something like “engine is from @user“. Tagging them on it doesn't hurt either.
@All pretty sick, what game's it in?
@All I do not, sorry

@Atrocitum oh that's interesting. I gotta say I'm interested to see how that turns out.
@Atrocitum nah that's ok, you could also probably just pin the comment if you want
Hmm. Might be worth investigating to see if this glitch can be replicated consistently. Could open up quite a few possibilities.
@V oh no it would only be a few thousand at the most. I'm not going to try and top the Yamato...
Yet.

@Gahaka it's out already, you're welcome to check it out!
You could probably just google the real size then if you uncheck “scale selected part only” you can scale the whole plane easily.
