In the shadows of the moonlit night,
With eyes aglow, and fur of black,
There prowls a creature of sheer fright,
A villainous cat on a devious track.
Silent paws on cobblestone tread,
His whiskers twitch with devilish glee,
A silent predator, his hunger fed,
By the chaos sown, oh woe is he!
Through alleys dark and corners dim,
He weaves a web of wicked ploys,
No heart of gold resides within him,
His soul delights in shattered joys.
With claws that gleam like sharpened steel,
He leaves his mark on window panes,
A midnight bandit with nerves of steel,
Dread fills the night with his wild reigns.
The mice and rats, they tremble so,
At whispers of his fearsome name,
For he's a phantom, sleek and low,
A shadow dancing in the flame.
He stalks the rooftops, stealth and grace,
A specter of the night’s embrace,
A demon's grin etched on his face,
The city falls beneath his chase.
His emerald eyes, they pierce the dark,
His tail a whip of silent wrath,
No creature dares to leave a mark,
On the villainous cat's midnight path.
But every legend meets its end,
And so this tale must turn anew,
For even villains can find a friend,
Or face a dawn of different hue.
So as the sun begins to rise,
Our villain hides from daylight’s sight,
A whispered secret in the skies,
A villain cat that haunts the night.
And though his deeds are dark and grim,
A glimmer of redemption gleams,
For every villain, fierce and dim,
May find a place within our dreams.
I'm sure it can be done, certain mods are actually incorporated into the base game and while I have not personally decompiled the APK I'm sure the structure is pretty similar to how the mod would be installed if it didn't come prepackaged.
@StockPlanesRemastered yeah that's basically what I meant, the disc was required to run the game, but it wouldn't be running directly off the disc drive since that's pretty slow. Sometimes games would transfer chunks of data at a time onto the PC's hard drive, sometimes they'd do the whole game. So yeah you'd need the disc, the game wouldn't work correctly without it, but it's not technically running off the disc the way this Minecraft copy is (if I understand correctly)
@StockPlanesRemastered sort of, the disc usually just had the files on it, which it installed onto the hard drive of your computer. The disc basically worked as a way to download the files and as a way to verify that you owned the copy of the game you were playing. Some consoles (PS3 era was the last) run games directly off the disc, but the reality is that it's just way slower than the modern hard drive.
@StockPlanesRemastered yeah it doesn't surprise me that the meta vr support is finnicky, in theory sounds great but certain aspects of vr tech can be crap for no reason sometimes
@skelyButActuallyCJ getting better, didn't realize it was tiktok though lol
I still wouldn't call that viral, I'd probably call that like a million ish views but that's still rather impressive, get enough followers and you can monetize
@rimiha to be honest I haven't turned my PC on in about a week, I'll try and get to it but I do have stuff going on irl so I don't know when I'll get to it. If you have a windows computer that's 5 years old or less you can probably run the correct Unity version yourself, and mess with it, I know waiting for other people to help with projects sucks sometimes. If you don't hear back from me for a week or so feel free to remind me, I'll do my best.
@MSLITecnik ok so switch SP to windowed mode then open up On-Screen Keyboard. It should have a home key so you can rebind what opens Reshade. I googled a picture of your keyboard and it looks like no, you aren't going crazy, there is indeed no home key on that laptop.
any iphone will let you do it, I'm sure there are plenty of androids out there as well but I'm only familiar with iPhones
According to some random samsung help forum I found, this is the only app that actually supports accessing app data, not sure if it works anymore but it's worth trying that rather than spending hundreds on a new phone. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lonelycatgames.Xplore
it's a shame, lots of people who like Android say it's more open, but these days that's getting harder to believe
Best way is to make the whole aircraft then start slicing and painting fuselage parts to make the transitions smooth. You can do it as you go I suppose but it's going to be like a jigsaw puzzle.
how has this never been a thing. I can already see this hitting most popular mods page.
I assume it's basically just using a GUI to trigger console commands? Crazy that no one's made this before.
yeah you can do other stuff by messing around with the backend too, jundroo.blob.core.windows.net hosts all the aircraft images and files so with a little poking around you could maybe find something interesting.
Also if you have the aircraft ID you can download the xml of any plane ever made, but I'm not going to share how since it requires an abnormal amount of server use to accomplish.
Additionally this trick seems to work regardless of how old a post is.
@V yeah I figured that it won't handle that too well, my main concern was for it to be able to handle testing concepts on the go. Anyway, let me know if you need my help, I'd love to contribute.
I would be down for sure if you're interested in having me as an editor, I don't have discord though if that's a dealbreaker. I would be willing to set up or help set up an unlisted mod as a chatroom for us though, that would work in the native SP website ecosystem and allow adding and removing contributors.
qualifications/resume, i.e. the role I see myself in
2.6 years of game experience (at least 300 hours afaik)
good english (makes me capable of making grammatical corrections, etc. freeing up the people with unfathomable skills such as PlaneFlightX and hgbbproductions to contribute in that area)
knowledge of funky trees, modding, and reshade, which could be handy
powerful computer + serviceable phone
well-liked and well-known (I hope) member of community
barely enough self control to not make jokes in the document
I would also like to nominate @IzzyIA for their knowledge of 3D text label shenanigans.

depends, some radios have an aux out and some bluetooth speakers have an aux in, if you have a random headphone cord laying around you could try it.

@THEOKPILOT eh its ok but at the time the only thing my friends had that I could crossplay with was a vr headset, so it gave us something to play ig
Whatever you do, drive safe, I knew a kid who was weaving in and out of traffic and slipped up a little bit and died.
@F16xl hehehehe 😈
@blt i'd delete that comment, very easily googleable to figure out where you live
@F16xl nice try
never click a link like that lol, almost always a rick roll
@StockPlanesRemastered yeah it doesn't surprise me that the meta vr support is finnicky, in theory sounds great but certain aspects of vr tech can be crap for no reason sometimes
@AndrewsGarsion correct, the Steam version only works on computers with Windows installed
opera gx is flaming garbage, chrome is fast but kinda sucks, Edge is fine, I guess
@skelyButActuallyCJ getting better, didn't realize it was tiktok though lol

aw man
I'll talk to someone about your okthxbye permit. It should have arrived by now.
Mod, you should make a mod.
@MSLITecnik latest one should work fine, I will point out that this guide was written a year ago so there might be some small inconsistencies.
everybody gangsta till they get molten candle wax on their hand (it hurts like fire)

ghoti
how old were you when you made this lol
fun fact: this is the 2 millionth post on this site. This includes forums, bios, and aircraft.
there's gotta be some shenanigans you can do to limit travel, bumpstops or something. I think I saw someone use winches once.

@ShinyGemsBro same here, I have a crippling skill issue on top of a general laziness preventing me from making anything halfway decent
dang that's a very nice bomb effect. I thought this was just a custom bomb with explosion scale set really high.
@V yeah I figured that it won't handle that too well, my main concern was for it to be able to handle testing concepts on the go. Anyway, let me know if you need my help, I'd love to contribute.
fourth most popular minigame. I am happy.
brother there is no way this deserves 35 upvotes and is more popular than a lot of actual minigames :(
