The VANT-2 (Veículo Aéreo Não Tripulado, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) "Daedalus" is an unmanned "hunter-killer" combat aircraft designed by Socrux primarily for use in low-intensity conflicts. Powered by a small turbofan engine, it features an optical sensor suite under the nose from which the operator on the ground sees what's going on around the aircraft, and may scan for targets as well as designate them.
It is not a particularly large aircraft, as it is not necessarily built for endurance, though on cruise setting it can stay on station above a target area for quite some time. Its design is geared towards weapons delivery, and most unusually for an unmanned craft, it is armed with two .50 caliber machineguns mounted on the landing gear stowage fairing/blisters.
It is shown here in fully armed configuration, a particularly heavy load. Four glide bombs, four air-to-ground missiles and four air-to-air missiles for self-defense, though these may be swapped out for more AGMs.
