The Ancient idea of the catapult was brought into the present for the sole purpose of hiding behind cover and raising just the weapons into range for firing.
Throttle up to go forward.
AG 3 activates the afterburner. (33% or so is good on land. while on the sea, you can open the throttle all the way.)
Steer with roll.
VTOL up to open the doors.
Then activate AG 1 and AG 2 and raise trim to reveal the the true secret.
Firing the rockets and mini-guns with Ground attack.
Oh, by the way, there are four mines underneath that can be released by pressing AG 4-7.
