The Su-17 NATO codified Fitter is a Soviet fighter-bomber mount developed in the first half of the 1960s. The first Soviet aircraft with a variable sweep wing. The world's first aircraft of this type, built in a large series. For three decades it was in service with the Air Forces of the USSR and Russia, it was widely exported, used and is being used in a number of armed conflicts.
