Overview

The Curtiss P-3 Hawk is a re-engined variant of the P-1 Hawk, with a radial engine.

Building process

Derived from the Curtiss XP-2 build, I reverted the front fuselage with a slight resemblance to the P-1, and put a radial engine in place of the in-line. CoM has been adjusted to compensate for the stability.

Engine: Pratt and Whitney R-1430 radial of 410 horsepower, driving 2-bladed fixed pitch propeller at 2,250 rpm.
