The Joint Atlantic F/A-42 Super Python is an Anglo-American, twin-engine, multirole, carrier capable fighter jet developed from the Joint Atlantic F-42 Python. The Super Python series of fighters are derived from the predecessor F-42 Python series, as part of a program to enhance the F-42 for air superiority and multirole operations, and create a limited-export version of the aircraft to counter F-42s owned by hostile nations.
