In June, 5, 1942. the empire of japan is still pushing and trying to invade Philippines because of the bombers and their amphibious land battleship japan split some half of the fleets to deal with the Philippines Land ships and they succeeded to kill one PN-1 and now hunting 3 more and so the Philippines Navy started another program and build a new ship.
So all they did on the design was to use the same ship Chasis of the PN-1 but make it shorter, rearrange the top deck, add two Manual turret with its 50mm inch gun, and change the new Turret and guns with a new one with its 300mm they removed the armor piercer shell and replace it full on HE with can destroy Four house when hitting the center and they add two AAs on each side and one on the back top of the ship and this ship can be good at destroying deep enemy bunkers.
So they start building it and took them about 5 months as they are desperate to defend Philippines they name it "PN-2 Nakakatakot Mangdirigma" or as it translate to "PN-2 Dread Warrior" and with its completion they deployed it.
In November, 10, 1942 the Japanese fleets were getting demolishes do to the Shell that is 3 feet wide and 5 feet tall and the inside is full of gunpowder as they were not kidding of only pure H.E
Turret are slow when head to head with another Warship the main turret is slow to lock on it's target but thanks to the Side Manual turrets it able to shoot it's target buying the main turret time to shoot the target.
In another records during Philippines raiding the island the PN-2 is able to destroy Multiple bunkers in single shots helping the troops clearing bunkers and also going on land unleashing all it's fire power to the Japanese as the troops report about it.
And then another records.
One island of the Philippines was raided and able to capture 3 Dock Japanese Cruisers and they scraps the 3 ships and building 2 more PN-2 savings the military budgets.
