Discription:

This one is big bad and heavy.
I used this project to improve my skills in calculating eliptic shapes
and ended up with something that looks like made for in or under water use.
The partcount is pritty high so i recommend for those with weaker CPU´s
to get rid of some of the rockets activated with AG 4 or AG 1 before taking it for a spin.
There are a lot of rockets attached so it will run a lot smoother without them,
only when embarking on a combatmission you should bring them all with you ;-).
If you want me to upload a version of this aircraft without all the weapons, I will. If requested with lights and more stuff for optic, because i did not dare to put on more parts for optic because flyabilety would have suffered.

This might be built by a species that evolved underwater and now moves out to explore
or conquer space, who knows?

In a weird way this design might work for real, because its basicly a infinitwing with no parasitedrag and the big fin in the bag combined with COG beeing very far up front give it a easy to stabalize shape.

Controls:

--> AG 1 is for unguided rockets and guns shooting straight ahead (air to air combat)
--> AG 2 is for guided air to air missiles
--> AG 3 is for giuded air to ground missiles
--> AG 4 is for pointable unguided rockets and guns
- aimingsight on camera 1
- up and down with VTOL
- left and right with Trim
--> AG 5 is for controls during vertical flight
--> AG 6 is for controls during horicontal flight
--> AG 7 is for fast and safe travel flight
--> AG 8 is for VTOL take off and landing with gyroassistance
--> extending and retracting landinggear starts conversion from vertical to horicontal flight

If you flew a build of me before this should be looking familiar

How to fly it:

regular takeoff and landing:

activate AG 7
deactivate AG 8
give some throttle and lift off
with regular controls and no gyro interfering
up to 1800 mph
i gues landing you will figure out yourself (5% throttle)

VTOL takeoff and landing:

activate AG 8 and 6
give more than 45% throttle
gain some hight
retract landinggear for conversion
voila you should be flying with up to 300 mph
landing is basicly following the steps in opposit direction
reducing throttle to 40%
extand landinggear
use AG 5 and/or 6 for your prefered controls

Vertical flight:

AG 8 and 5 activated
Landinggear extanded
pitch forward accelerates
pitch back will slow you down
roll left/right will swing you in the choosen direction
behaves allmost like a helicopter

horicontal flight:

AG 8 and 6 activated
Landinggear retracted
gyroassisted and with regular flight controls

fast travel flight:

only AG 7 activated
fast and stable, easy to control

combat or dogfight flight:

AG 6 and 7 activated
very fast and agile

quick goofy scifi takeoff:

activate AG 8
give some throttle 45%
gain some hight 200ft
activate AG 7
after accelerating to more than 200mph switch off AG 8

Notes:

--> when using AG 5 in vertical flight with low groundspeed
- allways pitch forward before you start rolling left or right
--> for the pointabel weaponsystem i recommend
-setting VTOL on your mousewheel
-and Trim on your left and right mousebutton
-or do it with your up/down/left and right arrow
--> all AG`s are combineable but AG 5 and 6 combined will take some practice to get used to
--> get away quickly while in horicontal flight because the convoi is returning fire?
-activate AG 7 and you are catapulted out of the area
--> if you want to use AG 4 in a quick overflight use the regular gun like a laserpointer and let the rockets hit when the gun hit allready
