First of it's kind

Before the years of Late Crusades, the Valestians started development of a heavy fighter. The program was started at the year of 1931, and it first flew at the year of 1934. However the first flight of the X-7 variant resulted in a massive explosion. An investigation was held and they discovered that there was a ruptured fuel line that filled the left wing full of gas vapor and turned it into essentially into a massive pipe bomb. The explosion was made much worse because the aircraft's main frame was made out of wood. So when the wing exploded, wood and metal parts flew all over the site killing the pilot and several ground crew.
